There can be no analyzation without first comprehension, and I don't really give out much information so comprehension is next to impossible. talk2hand

My Hollow My folk metal thing fell to pieces, can't say I'm sad. I started getting together with an old friend of mine and we're writing some music getting used to playing with each other and just having a high ol' time. It's pretty sweet actually. I think the direction we decided to go down is a noise/industrial rock band thing. We're going to try and make a synthetic drum set out of old pipes and tubes, record some sounds with a mic he has lying around and just have a good time. .....Not to emntion to trips to the used record store that is nearly eating me out of house and home. So much metal, all the time... Nice! What's your band called? I'd love to listen^^

Well....me and that friend started dating so..... we've been neglecting the band since we found out that the name we had chosen had already been taken. I came up with a new name last week and we now have proper recording equipment and programs.
Currently the name is Preventorium. A preventorium is a place where they used to send people with Tuberulosis to be treated and cease the disease from spreading. It fits well with our post apocalytpic theme.

My Hollow our post apocalytpic theme. I see we both a have similar themes with our bands. Though, the whole post-apocalyptic things is only part of the theme for mine. I'm still looking forward to hearing your music.

We were suppose to record and practice on Saturday but he wanted to go pick up some goth clothes and go to the record store instead. Since its kind of a drive down there and back, we're just going to have to reschedule.
We really do need to practice. But he just got his mac so he's been working with garage band and figuring out how everything works in preparation.

Thats a good question. And it depends. Since we started writing the guitar/bass/keyboard together first and havent finished or started making the background music for most of them, you could say only two completely finished songs. But all we need to do is finish up the backing electronic parts and I would say we have about 5, possibly six if my memory serves me correctly. Manybe more. It's been more than two months since we last jammed and we dont write much of it down since we just like to play off each other and can rememner what to play once the first person starts playing the part they wrote.
