Sass wasn't liking this. The boy was back up and was stupid enough to want to stay and fight. Well she would have no problem killing him again if only Wolframite would come to his senses already.

She moved away from him, she wanted to hit him hard and see if that would bring him to his senses but at the same time she wasn't sure that beating up a fellow comrade whether they were trying to kill you or not would go down too well and she didn't get on with Nealite on the best of days.

"Beryl will kill you for his you stupid Lieutenant!" She hoped that Beryl's name might bring something back. "She is our real queen, this false queen is playing with you, we need to take her to Beryl or kill her, or both. Now stop playing around already!" Oh please wake up. This was her last chance, if this didn't work they would have to fight which would mean the queen would be able to get away. Oh curse it!

"Hold still," Sailor Selene told Azzo, her voice with a sort of beef-jerky toughness that betrayed her discomfort. She hadn't looked invulnerable, not with her bruising cheek and puffed lip, and now she didn't sound it either. She squeezed onto the high schooler's sleeve to help pull herself to her feet, and there the moon queen stood, interposed between Azzo and his narrowly-averted demise. She hissed through her teeth, apparently an expression of her annoyance with her lack of invulnerability.

The black-clad soldier turned her back to her enemies, the hesitance in her eyes furthering the idea that she very much disliked doing so. "Everything is fine," she told him. In some ways, the way she spoke sounded as though she believed that when she declared something, this would cosmically bring it into being. How would it be fine? Were they going to run? It didn't seem like she was in any sort of shape for that; otherwise, even if she could run, it didn't seem like they'd get very far. "Take hold of my arm," she commanded Azzo. At the same time, she was raising her black and gold wand into the air, starting an imagined arc. "No matter what, you do not let go of my arm."

He couldn't, really, if he'd wanted to. She had her hand wrapped around his arm, too, fingers pressing red marks into his wrist.

Behind him, just a few inches off the brick wall, she had drawn a circle in the air. Now, just like a scene out of Harold and the Purple Crayon, that simple shape had become an ornate mirror, real and three-dimensional and fully functional as such. No tricks: it was pure magic.

Sailor Selene swung her arm forward, and this, the slightly super-human strength a sailor soldier possessed, sent him stumbling backwards toward the mirror as though she'd deliberately been trying to throw him at it -- which she had. But instead of running into it as Azzo might've expected, he spun right through as sure as a stargate, Selene anchored on right after him.

Azzo suddenly found himself tripping over a bench, despite that making no sense. Selene tried to overcorrect her balance for this, disentangle her arm from his, but without luck; she too flopped over the seat and landed on her back on the floor, staring up at halogen lights set into the ceiling panels. There were patterned tiles on the floor, set in modest beige tones, and a toilet, and a cheap pedestal sink with a drippy faucet.

"You can let go now," she clarified. "This is the girls' bathroom at Java the Hut. They're 24 hours."

Azzo didn't think this was the time to not take orders. So he followed her commands clearly, when she drew the mirror he could barely believe it. A mirror? From thin air? Then again he'd seen senshi's throwing sand and... his thoughts were lost when he was thrown in holding on to her arm. Trying not to hold too tightly as to leave anymore bruising.

When he tripped out into the floor he blinked, taking time to catch his breath when she said he could let go he had. Taking a second to getting use to the lighting. However when she said girls bathroom his cheeks flushed. "G-girls bathroom?" He muttered looking around and pushing himself up. However, without actually panicking too much at the fact he offered a hand to help her up.

What the hell happened he looked at the mirror though, the one they'd just come through. "Why.... but how..." He looked around, oh this would be bad if he was caught in here, but he was confused. He'd deliberately moved back close enough to the mirror to poke at it to see if it was solid, which it was, and now he was trying to rationalize what had happened.

"Thank you Ms..." He started, after getting over the initial shock and the fact he'd just been thrown through a mirror and it not break, only to realize he didn't know who she was. He wanted out the girls bathroom though but he couldn't just be rude, his nervous smile and edginess probably gave away the I shouldn't be here feeling.

Azzo though, being Azzo, couldn't just not thank his saviors, specially ones that almost died in the process of saving him. If only he'd known how much trouble he'd actually caused this time.

Killing the queen and sailor senshi Selene would not happen, and neither would they be able to take her starseed and present it before Queen Beryl, something that was sure to cause them both to be recommended for a promotion. While Wolframite kept Sassolite distracted, the queen took Azzo and jumped through a materialized mirror, out of sight and for Wolframite, soon out of mind.

While he was only slowly started to shake off the overwhelming of duty he had, it quickly was taken away when he turned and noticed the queen was gone. He frowned, feeling both alone and betrayed by the Queen who he was working so hard for. A brief moment of puppy-dog sadness passed by him, pouting as he stood there, wishing to know why she had left him without at least getting a little praise. It was then that the name Beryl hit him hard, and he snapped back around to see a very furious Sassolite glaring at him.

“Ah..but I..” He what? He was very confused, and he looked down at his hands, the empty spot where the civilian and the Queen had left making him feel a deep sense of loss, more than could be attributed to just losing a commoner’s starseed. He’d been utterly devoit to helping this unknown queen, yet he remembered that for a brief moment, his entire mind was occupied with thoughts of her alone and whatever he could do to make her happy. It was hard to shake off, and he looked back at the Lieutenant, looking hurt. “She left me.”

Sassolite wasn't sure what was going on. They were there and then they weren't? Did she miss them run off? She wasn't sure as her eyes had to keep mostly on Wolframite. She wasn't about to allow him a chance to hurt her but then he did something weird and she wasn't sure what to do.

He seemed normal again but confused maybe? Sass shook her head and forced herself to calm down, there was no reason in taking it out on him it was that stupid senshi's fault.

"She wasn't your queen. Beryl is our queen and the one true queen. She was using you." Sass was literally forcing her voice to be calm. It was hard work but she needed to stay calm, she needed Wolframite to come round properly. They were on the same side and she wasn't about to leave him like this.

"Who is your captain?" Maybe that would help clear his confusion if he remembered who's team he was in.

The name of the Negaverse Queen was quick to turn him around, and he jerked to attention at the reminder. Yes. Negaverse. His ACTUAL Queen, and not some imposter who made him feel … made him think that she was his queen. How deceitful! How low. How WRONG it was to force someone to do your bidding without consent. It was a violation, and while he still felt cold and a nagging, fading that told him he should still be looking around for this other queen to see if she was around with any further commands for him to fulfill, he knew he’d just been used!

“Uh…Linarite.” He mumbled, his look of confusion and sad-faced pouting turning into embarrassment and the first warm waves of anger. Straightening out his uniform, he stood taller (or at tall as Wolframite could stand), and looked about, trying to enforce an image of professionalism to counter his loopy behavior before. “I suppose she left.” The reminder still stung, and he hated that he felt that way. That she, this imposter, made him like that.

Still suffering from confusion, he looked up at her. “She didn’t look like a queen to me.” Even if she didn’t look like it, she was certainly different to what he had seen in other senshi. Looking up at Sassolite, he gave her an expression that said he didn’t know what to do. He was still trying to sort out what had happened.

Sassolite watched him and he did seem to be coming back to his senses but she wasn't going to leave him quite yet. She didn't know where Linarite lived, she had heard of her of course but where she lived and her real name? She hadn't the slightest idea.

"Okay lets get you home and I shall find a way of letting Linarite know whats up with you." She smiled at him and put an arm around him in case he needed some support. She wouldn't normally be like this but he was on her side and he was still coming to terms with what happened, at least she thought he was.

"Once we have got you home and rested, I will come find you some other time and we can tell Nealite and Charonite what happened." She smiled and started to lead him home. As soon as he was home she was heading home to tell Serah and then at least she can have let someone know what was going on.

While the hand on the shoulder was comforting, he went rigid at the mention of reporting his conduct to his Captain. The idea of Linearite finding out he called someone else his queen, went against another Lieutenant, and handed over a starseed were all major offenses, and having that many bad marks on his record was not something he wanted. There was also the fact he had been so taken to the other queen, making it downright embarrassing. “Oh, that’s alright. I’m fine! Really!” he stepped away from the other Lieutenant and held out his hands, showing he was in top notch condition. “In fact, Linearite is probably too busy to be bothered by such a little thing. How about you just mention the new queen thing to Ursula and Charonite? I’m sure they need to know more than anyone else, and pronto!” Before Sassolite decided that she needed to tell everyone about what happened. “I can even walk myself home. I’m sure I can get there by myself. You really should report this as soon as you can. It could be important.” Important usually meant a good mark for the messenger reporting the news, and in this case, Sassolite wasn’t reporting any deaths. If she was tempted, he hoped she would rush off and tell their superiors without any specific details pertaining to his actions.

"Okay if you are sure you are alright?" She was a little skeptical but if he said he was alright she had no reason to not believe him. She was also still going to tell Serah first. The school was closer and Serah could teleport now. Sass was also exhauted so she would tell Serah and then first thing in the morning head over to the big bosses house, when she could understand what happened more.

"If you are sure you are okay, I shall catch you about some time." She smiled and turned before rushing off down an alley. She needed to talk to Serah but then again maybe he was right, the big bosses did need to know first. She turned at the end of the alley and headed towards the house of Nealite and Charonite. They needed to know about this moon queen. She could tell Serah afterwards.

Sailor Selene was, at that moment, inspecting her swollen lip and asphalt-burned cheek in the very same bathroom mirror that she and Azzo had passed through just minutes before. She was hunched over slightly, like straightening up all the way would've caused her some discomfort, but she had let Azzo help her to her feet without comment.

"Sailor Selene," she answered him, "Queen of the Black Moon." She was watching him in the mirror, the topaz blue of her eyes following his movements.

"We got here by mirrorwalking -- it does what it says on the tin. Walk in one mirror, walk out another. You should be safe from them both for now, but you won't always be so lucky. You were a fool to be out by yourself at night with no one around," she chided him, dabbing with a wet paper towel at her cheek where she'd skinned it on the ground. It was a pretty harsh assessment -- she didn't appear to be particularly friendly compared to some of the other senshi he'd met.

Azzo tilted his head watching the mirror, he frowned slightly as he was trying to figure out what all had happened. There was a span from when the smaller Lt. was over him to the time she yelled at him that he didn't remember anything besides his chest hurting like his ribs had been broken again. Perhaps it even hurt a bit worse. He still looked confused though, through the nervousness of being in a girls bathroom, trying to figure out what'd actually happened... though he could only guess it had something to do with that starseed thing...

His hand was still rubbing his chest, however all was forgotten when she said Queen. His eyes went wide. "Ohhh......" He said slowly as if it hurt for him to realize that. This was who Ares was talking about?

He bit his lower lip and watched her dab with a wet paper towel, pulling out a handkerchief and offering it to her. "Here, Uh... your majesty? It'll be less rough than the paper towel." He offered softly unsure what to address her by now.

Of course now his nerves had just increased tenfold. He frowned, "Ares is probably going to kill me..." He muttered softly biting his lower lip. He might be slow on the uptake of some things, but he was pretty sure this was the 'one true queen' Ares spoke of... they were dressed similar anyways.

He however tilted his head when she went to explain they got there by Mirrorwalking. "That's rather handy..." He said looking at the mirror again. However, when she started to chide him, his eyes fell back to her reflection.

"Yes Ma'am." He said the tone sounded a bit cracked not in that that he was going to cry tone, but more that he was just flustered all the way around. Harsh or not, she was probably right and he knew it. "Even when I try to avoid it, I end up in some s**t pile around here." He muttered it seemed more towards himself than to her. He shook his head, "I guess I need to start taking a cab..."

If Sailor Selene was surprised to see a boy in this day and age carrying a handkerchief up his sleeve (and she did seem to be), it didn't stop her from gratefully taking the little cloth square in hand and using it to mop some of the sweat from her brow. She didn't look too keen on touching any open wounds with it, but she thanked him, nonetheless, and handed it back to Azzo when she was finished.

"You need to start taking a self-defense class," Selene told him, catching his eye in the mirror. "It's not your fault -- and it's understandable if you're hoping to protect the people around you -- but you should know what you're up against." Azzo could see his own face in the mirror, too, looking a little bewildered, but Selene didn't really seem to mind that. "Those people are armed -- they're stronger than normal, and faster than normal. And deadly, if you don't get out of their arm's-reach as fast as you can. You have to be ready, if you want to hold your own with them."

She turned to face him, bracing her hands on the sink behind her. "Take a class. Get some pepper spray. Get an air horn, a rape whistle if you have to. But if you see someone like that again, make sure you're prepared -- and you blow that horn like hell, and someone will come running. Scream, if nothing else."

She tilted her head thoughtfully, beaded gold jewelry all swinging sideways with the movement, clinking lightly. "You know my Ares?" There was an Ares and there was an Aries, but, of course, Azzo couldn't have known that.

Azzo nodded taking the handkerchief back, "I've been taking Kickboxing but apparently I still fail really hard at it." His cheeks tinted a bit redder in embarrassment at admitting his failure. His father would've probably been outraged if he knew his son wasn't all that great at self-dense after having taken it a few months. Though in his defense he wasn't really expecting the Negaverse, it's not like he'd run into any of them sans the tree incident, and most of that besides the tree saving them and Aphrodite that wasn't much more than a blur.

He nodded, thinking, "Pepper spray and air horn, check. I'll invest in those probably tomorrow morning." He wasn't sure about the rape whistle. Though he supposed he could invest in all that for his grams too. She'd need it as well, even though she didn't venture out much at night.

"I'm guessing she's your Ares." He said with a pause looking at Selene curiously as to why she'd ask that question, "She's clad in black like you are, most senshi I know of have been wearing white." He paused watching the queen's face.

"And it was more like she knew me..." He added with a nod and another frown, "Though that's becoming slightly common it seems." He was seeming to think if he should add why they ran into each other, and decided against it. He probably already seemed like he was out looking for trouble, not to mention the fact of how he'd known there'd been a youma would be even harder to explain.
