"Ahhhh...." Sighing out she headed into the shop, making sure he'd made it to a solid surface to stand at as she slipped her sweater off and held it under her arm. She didn't catch his glance, as she was at least thankful her jeans were spared from the residue as well as her under tank.
"You going to be fine hanging out for a while...? I really need to shower and get this washed.." Well, she knew he'd be fine, but she had been the one to ask for his company in the first place.
"I'd understand if you have elsewhere to go, i'll probably stay here tonight anyways..."

Frowning a bit, he glanced over his shoulder to see the vixen was obviously prepping to be else where. He didn't really want to bother her with something so triffle as company so he nodded in acknowledgment. I guess it is a good thing. I probably need some water anyway he thought to himself as he surveyed the room, looking for a sink. He soon found one and stumbled his way over to it and wondered if he should just lap up the water as it came from the tap or actually attempt to be civilized and use a cup

Folding her ears back she curled her tail around her leg and felt a bit guilty about going, but there was no way she was going to stay like this. "I'll be back shortly, don't worry..." She smiled and quickly vacated to the laundry room in the basement of the shop; tossing her sweater in with some bleach and took a different route to the kitchen to grab her overnight basket and dashed off to the showers.

He nodded again and waited for her to leave the room before grabbing a hold of the crease of his head gear that was hidden under his collar. He rolled the thick material up to his nose and quickly turned the faucet to start a trickle of cold water. He drank as much as he could before resettling the material as it was before hand and slowly easing himself to the ground. Just by looking at it, he could see his pant leg was soaked in blood, but when he rolled the BDU's past his knee he say that it was several gashes and maybe a broken ankle. He couldn't see that well.
He decided that since the pant leg was ripped up, he'd use that to at least cover the wounds. Fortunately they stopped bleeding, but he wasn't for sure. His once palish peach fur was now stained and matted with red. He sighed knowing he'd have to try and wash this out.
After dressing his wound, he had taken off his boot, which felt great and stretched his almost bare leg out and leaned his back against a cupboard. It wasn't what he had in mind, but he was still sitting down

Slipping into the bathroom the vixen turned on the hot water and prepared while the steam soon flowed over the top of the door. With scrub and soap in paw she headed in and relished the sensation of her fur coming clean from the dried blood. The black turned into gold as it was hit by the warm water, as it dripped off and swirled down the drain. It would never cease to amaze her the wonders of that shadow demon, to why he drooled the way he did and now his seemingly tainted blood.
None the less she scrubbed her fur with meticulous care, using the brush/scrub she'd brought to make sure that it would all leave the confines of her pelt. Once satisfied she hopped right out and slugged on her clothes once dry, tossing her hair up into a ponytail for convenience.
Making her way back downstairs she was about to pass into the door when she noticed his bare leg, and of course the red matting the otherwise cream colouring. Eyes widening as she wasn't aware it was that serious, the vixen turned tail and slinked into the kitchen, grabbing a few clean rags and a small tub of warm water. Finally returning to the commons area, she knelt down beside where he leaned against the cupboards and looked up to him.
"Would you like me to help...? You should rest..."

Seemingly dazed by the sudden appearance of the vixen, he didn't really hear her, but just kind of slumped his rear to the floor and relaxed his head and torso against the counter's cabinets. He had no idea he was that tired and thought for a moment that maybe he was dreaming. He managed to prop himself up and dried to remain focus, but no matter how hard he tried to stay awake, he still felt his weight shift back and hit the cabinet behind him.
He decided to succumb to the sudden fatigue and rest his eyes, but quickly falling into a state of sleep. He only remained that way for a several moments, but it was still enough to have him rested

Several moments was all it took.
Folding her ears back she bit her inner lip as she set to work seeing as he hadn't given her any indication he didn't want any assistance. Taking the wet cloth from the bowl of warm water she dabbed and cleaned at the surrounding fur to make sure any further dirt or filth would get into the wound. After finishing she recalled her first aid training and peeked under his bandage to see the wounds had indeed stopped bleeding before removing it completely to gently clean the gash. Getting up for a moment since the first aid kit was only a few cupboards down she scooted back and wrapped his leg in clean gauze.
Finishing as he seemed to be stirring once more, she rose up and scurried off to empty the bowl and toss her supplies.

His ears twitched and decades of ninja training forced his eyes open. There was no one he could see. Forgetting entirely about his leg, he clambered up the counter and looked around once he had a good stance. He put weight on his foot and then remembered, but he still remained standing. A broken ankle was nothing for him.
He put a paw to his forehead and shook his head, trying to get the once happy memories of the Pit out his mind. He had to focus on the hear and now. What was scurrying around this late. Had the vixen moved off to bed or was she still around. So many questions he wanted answers to.

Yawning deeply as she washed her paws once everything was put away, the vixen made her way back to the commons with a rub of her eyes and a slow sway of her tail.
Looking up she was surprised to find Snake standing and awake, slowly moving over to him. "That sure wasn't long...." Kay commented and slumped down on one of the couches; sore and weary. "That's some gash you had there....did you get that while we were in the woods?"

Startled by her sudden appearance, he almost let go over the counter he held himself with. He raised an eyebrow at her question and looked down to his leg. It actually did look cleaner and was better dressed than his makeshift pant leg job. He examined it for a bit and then looked to the silver thing on his wrist. He flipped it open revealing a small keyboard and a small screen. In half a second he had managed to type " I was following you in the forest and when you stop I had to hang on to a tree limb, which broke. I guess that's were it came from"
After typing all that he removed the bracelet like object and offered it to her. He knew the screen was small, but it wasn't any worse than a phone screen. Surely it wouldn't be difficult to read

Perplexed at what exactly he was doing she waited until he'd approached and handed her the little screen; reading it quickly since before paws she'd indeed had a cellphone to contact her family and such back home. "That crack was you? No wonder...." Yet it made sense, at least how he'd managed to come out of no where to her aid.
"I had been wondering where you came from...yet it makes sense if you saw me before hand. Here you had me thinking I was the luckiest fox out here....well, in a way, anyways. " Smiling softly, she brought her legs up onto the couch to curl into the nook; glancing at the clock to see how incredibly late it was.
Handing back the device, her tail snaked its way around her hips and legs; stifling back another yawn with her paw.

Catches her look towards the clock and feels bad for making her stay up so late. He put out a paw and pointed to the clock, then pointed to where he supposed the bedrooms would be. He didn't want to seem rude, but he was sure she would take the suggestion without question. He himself felt that he could also use some more rest, despite how it was probably going to be on the couch rather than a bed, but he wasn't about to complain.
He shifted his weight and stumbled over to a nearby counter. He continued to do this until he managed to get to the doorway of the living room and kitchen. There he struggled to get to a couch where he could rest in peace and not have a huge amount of traffic. As soon as he got to it, he carefully crawled onto the soft cushions and laid on his back. He kicked a pillow underneath his bad foot with his good one and almost immediately drifted off to sleep

Following his gaze, her eyes fell onto the clock and then the direction of the beds. It did sound so much better than sleeping on the couches, so dragging herself up off the sofa. Walking to where he pointed she looked back only to see him head to the other room, "Goodnight Snake..." She yawned, crawling into the bed for a good night's sleep.
------------ Two days later.
Day one had been one of the most miserable days of her life, if she didn't include the one she was currently having at the second day. Her work station had been untouched as she'd spent the entire day in bed. She didn't know what happened to Snake seeing he hadn't come for her, and by the next morning she knew she couldn't take feeling like something was eating away at her insides.
The morning sunrise had left even the woods in a soft golden glow as the vixen stumbled down the path a long ways from the shop back to the house she'd originally tried to get home to. She had to get some kind of medication to help the pain, she wasn't sure what was all at the house but at this point she was willing to try anything. Holding onto the trees as she walked by, her dry tongue rolled across her lips; trying to focus with glassy, dull orbs which matched the sorry state of her once beautiful pelt.
Clutching her stomach as she took a break against one of the trees, she knew she didn't have to worry about Hoshi since the shadows were far too small for him to hide in. It was simply getting home which proved the next obstacle in her way.

For the past two days, Snake was out cold. He slept for the entire time and all while he did, he had torturous dreams if his past. Not just the days at Joe, but the days he spent with his once cherished sword brother, Storm Shadow. His regret was a burden he carried for many years, but it never felt so true until the moment came.
He even had vague dreams of living a life before the twist of fate that occurred in Japan when he was still just a boy. For a glimpse, he saw his mother, his father, and his twin sister. Suddenly he jolted up in a cold sweat. Probably from seeing his long since deceased family. He winced and plopped back on the couch. His stomach writhed in hunger, or perhaps something else. He wasn't sure, but he once again sat up and saw his left ankle had almost doubled in size and was colored black and blue. He sighed as he faced a difficult decision to get up and find food. But his determination was never ending. He grabbed his sheath and untied it from his belt. He then stabbed it to the floor and used it to support the weight on his left side. It was makeshift, but it would work. It then occurred to them he left his sword on the counter. Praying it was still there, he hobbled to the kitchen. Fortunately it hadn't moved.
He quickly grabbed it and sheathed it quickly, making his way outside. Food was now out of his mind as he was a man on a mission. He found a strong downed limb and set to work, carving it away with a small knife he had on his belt, and slowly turning it into a sturdy crutch, for which he could use while he sought medical attention.
After several hours of whittling, he finally finished the smooth and sturdy piece of wood, and immediately tested it, finding it worked better than he hoped. He practiced with it for a while, trying to make it his left leg and getting used to walking. Soon, he tied the sword back around his belt and set off down the path, hoping it would lead him to a place where he could get the proper medical attention he needed

"S-s**t....why did I take a house so far away...." The vixen cursed as she rested the side of her head against the trunk of the tree, feeling nauseated as the ugly stir in her stomach took another turn for the worst. Gritting her teeth hard she tried to take another few steps to get closer, but she knew she was no where close.
There had never been a time more that she wished she carried those kinds of pain medication on her, yet a nagging sensation in the back of her mind told her they probably wouldn't work.
Feeling beats of sweat dew admist her pelt, the femme tilted her head back and fell against the tree; tearing bark as she sat down and held her head for a few moments. A little rest wouldn't hurt right?
