Ooh, I found out yesterday that the sequel trilogy to one of my absolute favorite trilogies is out. So now I really want to read it. But I'm kind of worried that it'll be a big letdown after the first series. (The prequel book that came out a little while ago was good, but not AS good as the original trilogy, of course.) The original trilogy is The Black Magician trilogy by Trudi Canavan, by the way.

Voted for "Modern/Real-World Fantasy". I might join the book club, but the availability of books for me is somewhat limited.

Whichever book we choose, we will make sure it's available in your local library. So, hopefully you can find the book we pick. wink
Okay, everyone. I'll leave the poll up for today and maybe tomorrow morning and then we can pick an Author.

If I could recommend one, I'd say the Hunger Games trilogy (though the third book sadly isnt out yet) by Suzanne Collins

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
(Partly taken from a review I found smile Kvothe is a world-renowned figure - a hero or a demon depending on which stories you hear. However, he has hidden himself away at an inn in the middle of nowhere with his apprentice Bast, for unknown reasons. Chronicler appears and Kvothe agrees to tell his story. Insisting that his story will take three days to tell, and that the famous Chronicler must write it down exactly as he tells it, Kvothe begins to share his story. The two websites below give a little info about his story. Here's the Wikipedia page. Here is what is on the back of the book: link
One of the best books I've read in a very long time. Anyone heard of it?

The Once and Future King By: T.H. White. It's one of my other favorite King Arthur books. It's a fantasy/classic but, for the most part it's about the knight's life's and therefore, adventures. It also has some romance since the whole love triangle with Arthur, Lancelot, and Guinevere. It also has a Prequel named, The Book of Merlin. Which I think are both really good and fit the description.

Okay, I'm going to post a Poll after the HM comes out on the 1st (as well as, make a little Announcement in the HM). Hopefully, we can pick a book soon after.

GGGGAAAAHHH!!! gonk I know, I haven't forgotten about this at all, I've just been terribly busy. I'm going to make an Announcement in the next HM issue and see if we get anymore suggestion. Whether we do or don't I'll have the Poll up by the beginning of the Month.

I'm currently in the middle of Percy Jackson and the Olympians; The Lightning Thief By Rick Riordan.
It's a really awesome book, and there are a few in the series.
