"I would rather be ******** crazy than ******** stupid." Sailor Corvus seemed to have recovered from the tiny outburst that she had directed at her partner, now standing firmly by his side once more, supporting words that she couldn't have said better herself.
"I don't know who you are, or where you've come from, but if all you want to do is attack and kill then leave and we'll take it from here." She would not condone death unless it was a last resort, and even then she would be hesitant about it. "Eridanus is right... And so is she. If there's anything we can do to fix this, anything at all, we try that first."
She had expected the dark senshi to respond first. She might have expected anything else, but she hadn't expected a boy to talk. A civilian to wander into the fray. "No blood needs to be shed; not yours, not ours, not theirs. What we are? Doesn't matter. What we're here to do? Does." Intent currently seemed to be the only thing that mattered to the Senshi of Vengeance. You were on her side if your intent matched hers, otherwise...

-She'd braced herself, a honest to goodness grimace crossing her face as she waited for the impact. The reprocusions had occurred to her after the words had left her mouth, and so it seemed she'd decided to brace for them. There was a sharp sting to her stomach, and she flinched lightly as the small something, probably as harmless as a soda tab whacked into her.
She was torn between disapointment and relief when the chain vanished before plowing into her. Relief won out, a sigh of air she didn't even realize she was holding in quickly exiting her lungs.
They'd really have to be careful and more cautious. It took awhile for attacks to charge.. some she'd heard even had limits to the times they could be used. It would be down right disasterous if it turned out Chain girl was right and they suddenly had a mega tree to fight and no powers left due to in fighting.
Luckily some of the others seemed to be the bruteish type. She didn't look like she'd try again, but hopefully those nearer to her would restrain her with more physical means if she tried again...
Her eyes widened in horror at the sight that suddenly presented itself, moving forward in an attempt to lock her hand around his wrist before he did anything else stupid.- "Azzo!" -Her voice was desperate.. if she were the sort to curse there would have been a damnit planted firmly behind his name.-
"You don't understand Azzo. None of us really understand." -It was disheartening.. certainly not the grand show of team work and righteousness one would hope. Mixed with the confusion of the evening she could feel her stomach swirl with nervousness. But her heart pattered like a drum as Azzo made his proclaimation, trying hard to pull him closer to her, to protect him when the offer of sacrifice sounded.-
"We're all trying our best. There is no handbook for this sort of thing."
"We won't let anything happen to the city." -In her heart she wished she could say to the tree as well.. but she just didn't know.. there were too many uncertainties.-

This wasn’t going as nicely as planned. Despite the fact that the Tree had sent out it’s minions to steal energy from civilians, Negaverse, and even Senshi, these idiots were trying to save it. It made him wonder that if he made a convincing sob story, that the senshi just might take his side. Oh, I stole energy but I just wanted to lliiivveeee. It was like him saying he just took starseeds to help his puppy get a much needed operation. What saps! Not killing was one thing, but buying in their story to take their side. It was utterly stupid, and worse yet, WASN’T GOOD!
He looked at the massive tree from space, and still noticed the waves of energy that continued to wash over him to the point it made the air around him feel ready to ignite. If the senshi were going to help this tree and IF they succeeded, then not only would the Negaverse be fighting senshi, but greem minions and freakish flora as well. This wasn’t going to work well, and if all these senshi continued to gather, he had a duty to stop it. Unfortunately, he wasn’t a captain and wasn’t capable to taking down both a massive tree that could kill and senshi as a Lieutenant. He needed someone more powerful and that meant his superiors.
Thus, like a good soldier, Wolframite knew that as the only one of his team to stumble on this gather so far, he had a duty to give the Negaverse a heads-up of what was going on. Turning on the branch, he gave one last look to the bickering happening down below and then jumped out into the dark.

One hand managed to finally break free of a branch, the tiny limb sliding out from the vines as she wiggled herself, attempting to loosen the remaining bonds. "Please - where is your Moon Princess? We need her, she can make everything all right again!"
Saiph stared at her blankly and Iya's newly freed hand grabbed hold and squeezed against the older girl's. "Please. I'm sorry for what we did... I-I don't want to die. Can you pleeeeease go get her?"
At that, Aphrodite paused, glancing up to stare at the little brat quizzically. Moon Princess? Did they think... did that mean...
That was it.
"I think leaving would be best, after all." Aphrodite suddenly remarked, surprisingly in agreement to what the foul-mouthed Vengeance suggested. Her words were suspiciously distant, however, her mind obviously elsewhere.
No other word was said as the Parallel senshi turned on her heels and ran, dragging herself and her metal-chained anklets away from Polaris' strong pull as she herself dashed off to deliver a message.

"... We're all still searching for the moon princess." MuCephi said regretfully. "But... we'll do what we can to help."
It was the only thing she could think to do, short of blood needles which she doubted would be of any use and might just piss the tree off... but she tried to reach out and touch the energy. //Like staunching the wound maybe// she thought.

((Sneaking in Scylla, somehow. Watch me work my magic.)) Jada was curled up in her bed, staring over a few selections her mother had asked one of the maids to drop off for her when she went to pick up Szelem's dry-cleaning. She was making some decisions on her ball when she felt the call go out. Something that made the monster inside her scream and cry out, making her human hand clench around the pen in her grasp. She set it down, pulling out another pen. Shifted off her bed, bare feet touching the floor lightly. She moved over to the door, making sure it was locked, the small window in the door covered by the hospital-issued curtains.
This was stupid. She was being reckless, going out there to answer the call.
Scylla wouldn't let her refuse. Jada had been unhooked from all of her tubes, from the IV, from everything, on the strictest orders that she wouldn't do anything stupid. It was against typical policy for them to remove her from such things, but she could have been released from this sterilized prison. Her parents had paid them well to keep her in until the doctors were sure she wouldn't get an infection. For the kind of money they were being paid, the doctors would be sure on Thursday night, or Friday. When her mother would demand her release.
She powered up, moving over to the window, stronger under Scylla's power. Her room was near a pipe. She'd be able to climb back up, or get someone she trusted to help her back here. If anyone else she trusted heard the call. From the second floor, Sailor Scylla let her body fall, hitting the ground lightly. Her body jarred- her back ached. Vicodin fixed so many of those little complaints though. To the park she went, coming upon the scene too late to be any good. Soldiers, clad in their skirts and shorts, boys and girls alike- and one little human boy in the middle, talking about being sacrificed to- Her purple eyes drifted to the large tree. Logically, it should have been the first thing she noticed. There was a person, dead near the roots. She shuddered, looking at the large plant. Scylla was in agreement with Jada on the shudder.
Silly, stupid little human boy, in places he didn't belong. Silly, stupid little Sailor Scylla, in places she wouldn't be able to fight to her maximum potential. But the tree had called, and Scylla had responded. What more to say? She pushed her way towards the tree, feeling her body shake. Not with strain, but with a rush of something else through her body.
Scylla's mind was working at a rate Jada's never did, thinking over the situation, looking over the people. The distance of area she could protect, should it come to violence. How many tentacles it would take to try and rip the huge tree from the ground and free them all from its misery. Though that would not make her the most popular person here, by any means. How far those massive branches could reach. You're just a sacrifice. Scylla's voice in Jada's head, a memory of a dream.
Not for this. Still, Scylla moved closer.

(Ahaha, Mel's such a newbie. ;; Please don't mind her and her newness.)
Melody had no idea what the power she felt was but it had been enough to render her concentration at cello practice shot. Setting the large instrument aside, resting against her bed so it wouldn't fall, she stood and glanced around. No sign of Esen at the moment, but she couldn't risk it.
Rushing out of the dorm room, she was quick to leave Crystal Academy behind and race for the park. Still being new to the Senshi thing she wondered when, or even if, she should transform. Better safe then sorry, she mused, ducking into an alley and behind a dumpster to make the transformation.
When Sailor Lacrimosa finally reached the scene she had no idea what was going on, oh the woes of being new and knowing next to no one, had no idea there had been a pseudo-fight between senshi just moments before. And honestly it wasn't like she could do much so she opted to stay towards the back and watch. Best way to learn what was going on ever.
She just hoped it wouldn't turn into a battle and she'd be forced to fight. Just thinking about it made her stomach displeased.

Azzo stepped back a few when Aphrodite left before realizing Polaris' hand had a hold on him. Looking after the black clad senshi in a puzzled manner. He looked at the rest of the senshi before looking at Polaris while she still had him. "I might not understand... but what I said is true." He said softly still looking at everyone, "But there's surely someone besides that which is missing, apparently this Moon Princess. Surely someone, anyone you guys know would have the answers?"
"I know you won't let anything happen to the city..." He said in Ernest. "I told you before I want to help." He said looking at Polaris then to the others. "I'm squishy as ******** compared to you guys, I know that. I want to do what I can to help, and I know I probably can't..." He nodded to the green haired sailor up in the tree. "Her. She already knows how stubborn I am. I think you do to Polaris."
He gave an unsure grin, watching them all. "If there's not a ... uh... Moon Princess isn't there someone that would know what to do?" He sighed as he looked around they didn't know anyone? He didn't have much of anything that could help. Maybe a few bandages in his bag, he probably had some soap to, unsure if that'd help the stuck Alien.... some food or something as well, he was looking at Eridanus, "You okay?" He directed to the senshi on the ground, he could only think he was injured or something. He wasn't sure there was much he could do but there might've been something.
He looked at Corvus next, "At the very least I know your senshi or terrorist if you prefer, and that so far what I've seen, you guys can help people. If they don't want it killed, or it to die, maybe you can help them... I hope that you can help them."

"It's not a question of knowing what to do." Eridanus admitted, though the boy was addressing his partner, not him. "It's a question of who can do it. The princess can do things we can't." Or anyway this seemed a reasonable assumption. He knew no normal senshi who could do purification.
He still looked tired, maybe more so than before, but he was more or less holding his ground, if not quite holding his eyelids open consistently.

Saiph gently squeezed on Iya's hand before shaking her head sadly.
"We don't know where she is, honey. We lost her. But we'll still do our best to help you. I won't let you die if I can possibly help it."
Not knowing what else to do, she wrapped the child in her arms again, simply holding her and giving what comfort she could. If their Princess had purified this tree before, what had happened to change that? And did it have to be the Moon Princess or would any Princess do? Or would something else work this time? Saiph didn't know and that not knowing was breaking her heart.
All she could do was stroke the girl's hair and keep repeating, "We'll find a way. We will. We have to."

Control of the situation was something that she was losing, again. Every plan that had seemed so well thought in her head was now crashing, from having her powers activated right up to... Wait. Leaving. The blonde psuedo-senshi was leaving? Something wasn't right about that. Something wasn't right about any of this.
Sailor Corvus wanted to chase after her, to demand answers or simply track her down, but she couldn't. She knew, deep down, that her place was here. She couldn't just leave Sailor Eridanus here on his own, and she wouldn't even if she could.
She was quickly losing her patience with the civilian though, which was clear when she spoke again. "Haven't you been listening to anything that we've said? We can't give the Makaiju what it wants. We can't make our powers combine to form the Moon Princess. If it was that easy don't you think we would have tried it?"
No. Probably not. That would have required all of them working together peacefully.
"Eridanus is right. Our Princess can do things that we aren't capable of. She's special..." There was a trace of longing in her voice as it softened, speaking of the loss that most of the Lunar Senshi felt without being able to explain it.
It was then that a thought came to her, making her pause as she turned her head to glance at the girl with the pale green hair. She was so familiar. Hadn't she been amongst that group that had isolated themselves on one set of bleachers at the meeting? Wasn't she...
"Sailor Chronos... Princess... Is there anything you can do?"

-She let her hand drop to her side, freeing her reckless friend from the weak grip she'd had on him, still hesitant to walk away. It was as if something could happen any second.. like if she stepped away for even a moment something horrible could and would happen.
The black senshi's sudden turn about did not help at all in these feelings of fear and uncertainty.
As talk was swapped back and forth it suddenly hit her, and she extended her hands, summoning out of nowhere a small cellphone, that she quickly began to fiddle with, her voice rising with a tone of hope.- "Can we call Astraea on these things? Do you know?"
"We may not have the Moon Princess, but if anyone would know anything we can do to help Astraea would be the one"

(Oh this looks fun ... slits Maia in real quick)
Lily sat in the library book in hand, it was one she couldn't check out and so she stuck for now. It was late the library would be closing soon anyway and she and the few others there would have to leave soon, then she would have to patrol. She read silently taking notes for her paper, when she felt it. 'What was that?' It felt sort of far off, but it was strong, so Lily rose and headed out of the library noticing no one else seemed to have been affected. Her pace quicken and she soon escaped thought the library door. Everyone seemed to be normal, but she could feel it.
She ducked around the corner, transforming quickly and taking of in the run toward the feeling. Whatever it was she felt like she need to be there.
It felt like simply forever, before she reached the tree? Yes, the tree and was that a body. Maia stomach turned and she founded herself backing away and she forced herself to move forward. Maia stopped looking around. There were several Senshi and Azzo and others, who looked a bit odd.
She shook her head, now was not the time for that. She looked around listening to the words of the other's around her, trying to figure out just what exactly she ran into.

Mention of the Princess had Scylla's head turning, away from the tree and the familiar little girl being held by another Soldier as she was clung to by the branches of the huge tree. She could feel the shuddering, stronger as she moved ever closer to something more powerful than herself. She clenched her hands, turning to look at the people talking.
The Princess. As always, thought of the moon princess tied Sailor Scylla in small knots. Jada's hand went to her stomach, gripping lightly through the white cloth. "Determination won't always do the trick, kiddo." she spoke up at last, to the dark-haired civilian. The dark-haired Sailor Scout nodded to the male senshi, flushing lightly at how impolite her own eavesdropping had been. "It is a matter of who can do what needs to be done. And if what needs to be done is what we want to be done. It might not be." If there was no one here who could purify the tree...
If wishes were mounts, the senshi would be effing Bear Cavalry.
Mention of Astrea, and a Princess Chronos (was that Virgo's princess, she wondered?), made her pause, shut her mouth firmly.
"Sorry for butting in." Scylla apologized finally.

"Um," a gentle and rather quiet voice spoke up from the back. "I hate to sound a bit stupid and, well new... but I'm a bit lost as to what is going on. Could some one please explain it to me?"
Then, as an after thought, the one who had spoken stepped a bit closer to be seen, blonde pigtails pinned with cherry blossoms and a very Asian inspired sailor fuku. Chances are she was completely and totally new, had any one there ever really seen her? She had no idea about these aliens and what they had been up to, or why they were speaking of the Lunar Princess they were looking for.
Gloved hands wrung themselves together as embarrassment crept up onto her face. "Sorry to be a bother.."
