With his foot pushed away, Foust struggled to keep his balance on the other foot. Noticing this problem, he brought his attacking leg down, and watched Kuma run around him. The way the shinigami was running was odd. It was like the damage from past landed attacks were kicking in. Foust was still feeling the effects of his own hurt knee, but ignored it to continue fighting.
While the adversary took the time to run around him, watching him was just easy. It wasn't hard to just follow this man as he made a run. Upon arriving at his side, Kuma unleashed a right hook, but the type of attack wasn't coordinated enough. Being the kind of punch for more force, it was slower, and quite easy to block. As Kuma came assailing, Foust turned his upper body so that he was facing the attacker, and brought his left foot to his left in his new position. The right fot turned with the toes pointing at the opposing shinigami around the same time. When the hook was in arms length, Foust brought his right arm up with an open hand, and pushed against the wrist area of the arm generating the hook.
As the punch was being blocked, a step was taken with his left foot, but it was placed on it's toes near the middle of the enemie's feet. There was still a possibility of another attck with the free arm. With that in mind, the left hand rose to Kuma's left shoulder, making it harder to attack with him being so close, and an arm in the way. Now that Foust was in close, his hands went behind Kuma's head, and tried to pull down on the head. While, the attempt to force the opponent's head down started, the leg, which had the foot on it's toes, lifted up, and tucked in. The knee cap raised up to meet with the skull, and since he was so flexible it wasn't hard to make it reach that high. This manuver was simple, but combined speed and power. An attack like this could only be performed in the right time. Luckily, Foust found that time and opening.

Feeling his head being pulled down Kuma lowered his hands, moving them infront of his face to block the obvious oncoming blow. Placing one hand above Foust's knee to block the shot he looped the left hand around the back of the leg, gripping onto it he pushed his head foreward in an attempt to connect with the chest, since the disttance was barely there Kuma was almost positive of the hit and put his body weight into the attack, pushing with his feet to add extra force. This was a type of attack that had negatives for both the attacker and the victim as it delt a decent ammount of damage from the skull crashing against the opponent, yet the backlash was placed mainly on the attackers neck. In order to maximise the damage given and reduce the damage taken Kuma slid his right foot behind Foust's left in order to pull it out from under him. Sweeping the left whilst keeping control of the right that was in the air would encourage the blow to the chest to throw his body back towards the ground.
His grip that he had placed on Foust's leg was not only an attempt to control it but also to increase the chance of injuring it further as he tightened the grip. The closeness of the two fighters meant that the speed of the attack would seem even less that it was, giving only split seconds between Foust's movements to Kuma's counter.
The fight had been quite fun for Kuma, to fight with a comrade with such skill as Foust pushed him to work hard. Although he had not gone all out he wasn't far from it. His body had felt the impacts of the battle but simply gritting his teeth and forcing himself on would keep him going for quite a while aslong as he managed to protect his torso from further damage.

Impressed that this adversary managed to not only block the attack, but grab hold of the knee being used. With his hands still gripping the back of Kuma's head, he attempted to headbutt Foust in the chest. Since his opponent had the leg sort of tight, the shinigami was caught, and had nowhere to go. Although, he didn't have to go anywhere to redirect the attack. Adding more force, a struggle to push Kuma's cranium downward began. While using more force, he barely sprung off the ground with the other foot again, and as his body began to fall back down, a the second phase began. His free leg tucked in, and while declining, he lauched his knee at the same target as before. The small jump mixed with the drop would make the attack full of momentum. Whether the move would land or not, Foust was going to feel pain, because of the fall. It may not have been far down, but there would still be minimum damage to him. Risky moves such as that, weren't the best way to go, but he knew there would be a problem if he didn't act fast. Taking precautions were totally out of reach at this point. Both fighters wanted to win, so their bodies were going to be put on the line. Even comrades had to go all out in spars, so now was the time to do so, only if the match would continue.
