Yes nicknames are allowed so don't worry
There is currently no set dead line but that could change
There are some rules regarding what pokemon can be used and which are restricted which can be found on the updated rules page.

Well, regarding the leaders who have pokemon that don't match their specialties... As long as said pokemon can learn and knows an attack matching said theme it's fine.
I usually nickname my main team
And I have about 6 HM Slaves (and they're named as such) I find the most useful one being Bidoof, since he can learn pretty much everything.

Hah! So I think I found a team I'd like to use to be a/the Dark-Type Gym Leader. I'm restricting it to three Pokémon and seeing what strategies, if any, I can create using that.
But… Pooh! Damn, Arkie, the Pokémon must know a type's attack? The only reason I whine, and I'm not really whining genuinely because I can create another team, is Karen of the Elite Four has a Vileplume and a Gengar with no Dark attacks at all.

I think most gym leaders in the games have five pokemon... not sure though. I think I'll try to stick to that, though, if it's alright. A five pokemon team.

The later gyms do, but I'm thinking I want to keep my team at a size of three. It's a bit of a challenge, yes, but I think it creates a tighter strategy, and won't make me impossible to beat (or, at least, less impossible).
Speaking of, level caps of Gym Leaders? Are Gym Leader levels going to be incremental, or should they all be the same or at some cap?

Hey guys, I saw some very good questions.
I think what we might do for the levels is set the gym leaders all at level 50 and then the elite 4 will be set at 100. How does that sound to you guys?

The SubForums are currently under construction and will be open very soon. Please remain patient as this is only the second day of the guild. By the end of the week everything should be up and running except the League itself since that's going to be a longer task for us to finish.

Maybe you should set up subforums for the different generations. Ex: SoulSilver/HeartGold, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Pear/Plat/Diamon, ect.
I dunno. Just an idea. ^.^; Or even an art subforum.
