Song Riter227 speaking of Grass types, here's an idea: GRASS and wait for it..... DRAGON! BAM! There it is. It probably won't be that good of s fighter unless grass pokemon experts like super EV train it and like make it unstoppable, but it'd be fun. THANK! YOU! 2 votes Grass/Dragon Dual type is needed! Well most of us don't expect our ideas to happen, they're just things we'd like to see. I see your point though. Such weaknesses have never stopped us before and I see no reason for them to stop us now. I'de love to see something like a fusion of Roselia/Gastly for the Grass/Ghost. But there is a myth that would make an excellent one. A Wood Nymph. I'd personally love to see Defog get completely removed from the game and Dive make a triumphant return with way more use than it got in Gen 3. There's so much untapped potential in that move. I want to see a Region that's mostly water and you need Dive to traverse the majority of it.

I really liked Diving in Emerald. I was kind of hoping it would come back in d/p/p, but was saddened to find Defog (which is lame...).
Grass dragon would be spiffy.
I agree that more dual ghost types would be fun. I liked the addition of Rotom as an electric ghost (loved the possessing household appliances that was added in Platinum xD). I'm hoping they do more with interesting types like that. :3
I like when they add new type combos to the new Pokemon. So I'm hoping there will be a bunch of new dual types to experiment with. :3

I enjoyed dive quite alot actually in my time in 3rd gen. The whole aspect of underwater exploring intrigued me to the point where I came expecting the 4th gen to cover more of it. Alas when it didn't I was saddened but with the potential of its return in gen 5 I find myself waiting and anxious for the release to see what it aspires to.

Poke'mon seems so unexpected. Whatever they bring would makke me happy. Just hoping they don't bring back Defog. Dive is totally what I'm in for as well. Remember in Ruby/Sapphire, they had Sootopolis city I believe; that was a surprise. They should totally make an underwater city like Atlantis but not named as that though. And maybe a legendary pokemon during the God times. Maybe that Pokemon knows everything and will take you back to the ancient pokemon civilization. I've always was curious about that since they mentioned it in TV a couple of times.
What else I look forward to seeing... -Underwater traveling -Starter Pokemon that are just plain grass/fire/water -A bigger area -A longer story base -A massive amount of new pokemon like in first gen but a bit more -and surprise me at the rest !

I just had an idea that would be an awesome new feature. How awesome would it be to add in a League Challenge Wifi battle option? Meaning, challenge your friends over Wifi for the title of Champion. If they win, the game saves their team data as the new champion and you have to beat them to be able to reclaim the title. It's just like the old Secret Base teams you could get from mixing Records, only even cooler.

Quote: In battle, in a variety of instances, the camera will move around and zoom in/out as the situation dictates. In addition to that, as seen in screenshots, the sprites are animated so the battles are not going to be as static as they have been the last fourteen years. These animations take place when attacking and while waiting for the moves to be selected and not just when the Pokémon is put into battle. heart heart heart heart heart heart heart The battle system got more interesting. My plea has been answered. Now if we just had those dragons.... ninja Also, if anyone hasn't seen them yet, here are the starters. =) Pokabu- The rabbit eared pig. Fire type. Tsutaja- The snake-like grass type. Mijumaru- The cat-otter? Water type.

I'm not to sure about the piggie, but the otter or Lizard-like? Thing looks cool. Then again, i'm not going to knock the Piggie, since I don't know what it's Evolved forms look like. 83

I say that the starters for this generation are ehh.... But overall I would pick Tsutaga since I was more curious about what it looked like when I saw its silhouette. The battle system does take in a new generation of battle system. I absolutely love it ! I'm excited !

Tsutaja looks rather cute. It's been dubbed Smugleaf by 4Chan, apparently and I must say it fits based on the "Holier-than-thou" look on it's face.
It looks like it's got the potential to evolve into a Grass/Dragon as well. So far it's the only one I'm certain I'll like. the piggie is...eehhhh*still deciding*...and Mujumaru, the Sea Otter is just plain "WTF!?". I thught it was gonna be another penguin when I saw the silhouette. Buizel looks more like an otter than that does and it's a Water Weasel with a Buoy around it's neck.

If they made the otter like the Oresoren, I'd totally choose that as my starter. As it stands right now, I'm leaning towards the grass starter as well. I'm eager to see their evolved forms, though. In 4th gen, I thought Piplup was awesome, then I saw its evolutions. D:

Piplup was cute until it evolved and turned into uber-fugly Empoleon. Prinplup was like a Pug, only it never got any cuter no matter how long I looked at it.

The more I stare at the otter, the more I feel it's trying to take over my mind... those solid black eyes tend to do that...
I just don't like the piggie, nomatter how I think of it... Granted they haven't done a pig-base poke'mon yet, it's just... did they have to make it so fugly?
The Lizard-like grass starter, has a "Dragon" vibe to him, but I have a feeling they'll lead you on, and make him -look- dragon-like, but it'll never happen... T`T

To be honest, I thought Empoleon was a good lookin' Poke'mon ! Aha, except Prinplup. Is Smugleaf based on Japanese translation or just a made-up nice fitting name?

Smugleaf's the name it was dubbed by 4Chan. If you don't know what 4Chan is, then it'll be easier to understand it as a fan-made name than an real one. It's just something the fan's made up that was english because they don't want to call it Tsutaja.
