Valheita Is it worth me updating the adblock list or not? Nah. Most people who use adblock are smart enough that they can either figure out what to block on their own, or at least know when something looks fishy to ask for help.

So, this is an example... If my password is [a word][AWORDINALLCAPS][the first word again][1digit number] is that a bad password?

Sub-Par Man So, this is an example... If my password is [a word][AWORDINALLCAPS][the first word again][1digit number] is that a bad password? Yes, though not as bad as it could be. It does contain a mix of lower and upper-case and a number, but using real words leaves you more vulnerable to dictionary hacks. That being said...even if those are three letter words, that's a ten didget password using upper, lower, and numbers. That's a lot of possibilities to sort through - way way more secure than, say, "password".

I hardly use ADblock any more. It's mostly for when i want to save a little bandwidth when playing on-line flash games. My NoScript add-on block scripts from every site I haven't personally approved yet. And for my passwords? I'm having trouble remembering all of them now. Mostly due to my school demanding me to set a new password ever 90 days, and I'm not allowed to use the same password more than once. But I like to mix numbers and small/capital letters, and avoid words people would find in the dictionary.

I have the beloved adblock at home. Not here. Boyfriend's computer forces me to fun FF which likes to randomly crash as is.
