"Water-Oh no, no, no, I'm not...I mean Sachi is but no. No, I'm not a bender at all."
Yana shakily pulled out a few silver coins to pay for the dusty powder. She admittedly liked it, it had a sharp, spicy smell that obviously graced the air in the Fire Nation. If necessary, it would call upon Avatar Roku, or perhaps even Rahai, the first Fire Avatar.

Sachi smiled at Yana, but wrinkled her nose at the smell. Fire was her opposite, she never really liked incense. She likes to watch the blue in the flames, though.

The other girl with the blond hair's expression made Kyoujin a bit ticked off, but he kept his friendly merchant grin.
"Is there a problem? Maybe you'd like to buy something a little more suited for waterbenders, miss...Sachi?"

Sachi shrugged, she didn't really like him. She never saw him before. "Its okay... I left my money at my house." She said, lying. She has water tribe money in her pocket, and earth kingdom money.

Yana felt doubly uncomfortable. The air felt tense with invisible sparks as the two opposing benders spoke. Peace had returned to both Fire and Water nations, but the couldn't help not liking their opposites.
Yana pulled insistently on Sachi's wrist, taking her paid for wares from the young man. "Thanks..." she murmured. Her finger brushed the skin of the boy just barely. Yana had to hold back a gasp.
For a split second, she was in a vision, on the ground as fire bloomed wildly all around. There was the boy, standing atop the rock, flame growing in each hand. Where was Sachi? Where was anything?
She snapped back to reality, pale as a sheet, and then she pratically dragged Sachi away. What had she just seen?

Sachi had to run to keep up, leaving the boy behind. "Yana, what happened? You're as pale as a sheet."

Kyoujin stared at the two as they fled. "Why must I always have to sell things to the weird ones?" Then he stared down at his palm, counting the money. "That's less than I expected from a waterbender..."
He went back to his caravan, but something made him turn back to see where they were at. Giving a scowl, he grumbled to himself. "Waterbenders...scum..."

Yana didn't stop, wouldn't stop, until they were out of earshot. She pulled her over in between a pair of trees, lowering her voice to barely a whisper.
"I had a vision," she gasped, "There was fire all around and he was there...and I was...I just knew at that moment he was going to kill me."

Sachi stopped at a puddle, bending the water from it into a ball in her hands. It helped her think when she was waterbending. "Was I there?" She asked first. "And how did you know? A feeling?"

"I didn't see you, I couldn't tell how far into the future it was." Yana paused, clenching the bag of incense. "The images are never completely accurate. But the signs are clear enough. That boy is going to be the man who kills me someday."

The water Sachi was bending went back into the puddle in a splash. "I'd never let that happen to you." She said, her fists clenched. The puddle's water rippled.

"Sachi, death comes to all, through one hand or another," Yana sighed. She had repeated this to siblings whose pets had died, and was repeating it to Sachi now. "Not even the Avatar could keep death from stealing him away that night. If one boy doesn't rid the world of me, it will be another." There were also unexplainable deaths. Accidents, illnesses, or even the dire state of a broken soul.

Sachi looked extremely stern. "A Fire-bender is as much of a human as a water-bender. It is not the element that governs a bender's actions, its the mind and heart that governs them. Would you rather a waterbender do the job? Or one of my siblings? Despite the seriousness of the situation, there is not one human incapable of murder." Yana sighed, looking morose.
"In any case, a medium is just as easily replaceable."
