She would have either curtsied or made some show of respect to the other person had she a humanoid body to do so with, instead she just nodded and took a tentative step forward, cringing a bit away from Ryu. '...No offense. Don't like darkness. You're covered in it.'
She gulped and took a deep breath, following Daminika and wondering when they could get the heck out of there. "That would be much appreciated, thank you."

Evermore opened up a door to a corridor. Daminika smiled this was the place she felt almost whole. As if her heart could reach the boundaries of this foreign land. "Welcome to the Field of Flames" she opened the door and music took them in its grasp. The flowers were flaming. The fire so entrancing light. The room was so warm but secrets floated every which way. Daminika started to dance and clap to the song that Evermore gifted to them.

"Gah!" Ryu said, flinching as the....doors? Were thrown wide open. The flames hit her head on, turning the half of her that wasn't covered in darkness bright red, flaring out like some sort of dress. (The kind that people put on their dogs.)
Shaking with each step she took, Ryu silently prayed a thankful prayer that Lucis was there with her. True she didn't seem to like this place, but without her there to anchor her, Ryu could easilly be swept away from the pure ammount of energies in this place. It was almost frightening.....but dispite the heat, the flaming flowers were kinda preaty.....

Daminika picked one of the flowers up. Not by the stem but rather the flower its self. The flower's energy was so abundant and pure. "The Flowers of Flame give off pure light energy. It is one of the few places in Evermore that is not tainted by Darkness." She smiled and danced with the flowers. The melody still playing through the air. "Evermore is a wondrous place. I wonder why it devoured you." she smiled and turned around quickly to pet the flower.

Lucis was quite a bit more comfortable here, in this place of fire and light, than she had been out in the middle of the dark hallway-type place. "It is indeed wondrous, but I think I prefer this room to the place we just left. The Darkness and I do not usually get along so well."
If only she had a way through the bunny-form, which was quickly becoming more of a pain than the fun it was probably intended as. But at least she could put up with it. She took a few steps into the room and dropped the light-shield, instead just basking in the firelight from the flowers. A tiny pinprick of light floated off of the Lucis-bunny and towards the flowers, where it found a nice-looking open one and settled there, hopefully unseen by the other two.
Noticing Ryu's troubles with the conflicting mass energies, she gave him a pitying look. "Are you okay, Ryu? Want me to try and help?" She really didn't like the darkness-coated part of Ryu, but she took a careful step towards her anyway while waiting for a response.

Couldn't....hurt....please do Ryu responded, as she placed a trembling foot firmly on the ground. "They're...very beautiful." She said, trying not to hurt Daminika's feelings. It wasn't her fault that this place itself seemed to be unintentionally hurting them. Heck, even Evermore itself seemed nice. (As odd as that sounded.) Like a rose. Very beautiful, but incapable of ridding itself of its thorns. But she'd need some sort of shield of her own before she could comfortably come down here.

Daminika could feel what they were feeling. It wasn't exactly pleasant but she could fix it also. "I can fix this, if you trust me." she said as her crimson eyes fixated on them. The flower was still in her hand. "Actually you pretty much don't have a choice. Evermore is very bewildering you see. And if you don't have a permanent protector than its likely you could get hurt by the intense energy. And Evermore doesn't invite guests in less its important. So you may not be getting out for a long while." .. her voice was direct and unmoving. There was no fear intended but it should be greatly understood.

She forced herself to take a few more steps forward and come up next to Ryu, freezing when Daminika offered to try and help instead and talked about a permanent protector. However, what actually made her freeze was the phrase "you may not be getting out for a long while". '...Might not be getting out for a while?' She whimpered almost silently, another pinprick of light finding it's way to another flower and settling there.
"If I may ask, why does Evermore usually invite it's guests in? These important things that you referenced, what are they normally? ...I assume you know since you've clearly been here before."

Daminika nodded she had expected this. "These questions you ask can all be answered. But first you should consider my offer. We would have to leave this area of Evermore, but you would appreciate it in the long run." Daminika looked as if she new what she was speaking of. As if experience was in the equation.

Lucis, was definatly not ok. That much was certain. And she said that it she herself was covered in darkness. Being a Light elemental, that made sense that she wouldn't want to approach her.
Ryu did manage to notice the second little spark of light, and it fleeing from Lucis made him nervous. Why couldn't the darkness be the thing forced out of him?
"Permanent protector....what IS that...?"

Daminika smiled. "It is something you can keep with you for all of time when in Evermore. It will keep you in balance, and is said to protect you." Her voice was of truth and nothing more. "But the protector can't leave Evermore for it only exists here." she waited for their answer.

"Leave this area? ...And go where? What does 'fixing this' entail?" Lucis was a bit more cautious for Ryu's sake, not wanting her to end up in trouble because they didn't ask questions before the trouble occurred. She did realize that some of the questions would obviously go unanswered, as a person could only remember but so many things at one time, but she hoped that the more pressing ones would be the ones to get answered at least.
She shook herself off a bit, fluffing out her fur and then twitching it back into place as if to get rid of an irritating tickle. A little halo of light poofed out around her, but quickly settled back down into her. 'Damn, I can't figure it out. This isn't so like Kal'drystz's Curse as I thought it would be.'

"Will...it cost us anything?" Ryu asked. Hopefully they wern't selling, or forever tainting, their souls or something.
I....don't know what to do... Ryu admitted, to Lucis only. But she's right on one point....we don't know how to get out of here. And if there IS an exit somewhere, we'd probably have to explore a bit...we can't just stay here the whole time...

Daminika took a step back and petted the flower. "Well we would go to what is called the Obsidian Tears. It is a place where neither light or darkness prevails but rather it just is. It is a place where the butterflies roam and water glistens with magic." her again her voice held truth and fascination.
