"over there." Emery pointed to where Marie stood, a tad out of sight and unnoticeable. The woman looked nothing like the daughter - she was curvy and tan, with long brown curls, rather than being small and thin and dark with bright hair.

Eve waved at the mother of her new friend and pointed towards Lila. "My mommy couldn't come with me, so my nanny's with me." Lila glanced at her from where she browsed for a book or two.

"Nanny." Emery repeated quietly. "Want to get a drink?" the tot asked after a bit, pointing over to the cafe.

"Sure, I need some money from Lila for it though," Eve had been taught that she had to pay money for somethings.

"I pay." Emery said, going over to tug on Marie's sleeve and point at the woman's purse. It didn't take more than a few moments to be handed a couple of bills - the tot was surprisingly good with money - before the dark skinned girl had turned to take Eve's hand.
"What shall we get?"

Eve had a small allowance from her mother that Lila kept in case she wanted to get anything. Still, she nodded and went to look what the cafe sold with Emery.
Eve had already tried coffee and had terrorized her mother and nanny all day and nearly all night. "How about some juice?" Eve knew she didn't get too hyper with juice.

"Juice." Emery agreed, waiting with her friend till it was their turn at the counter.
"Two juice." she said and paid the nice boy, who seemed shocked at the toddlers ordering.
A teeny bit later, they stood nearby with their juices. "Good juice."

Eve giggled at the boy's reaction, it reminded her of how others sometimes reacted to her mother.
Eve sipped her juice, nodding, "Very good juice."
Lila watched still though she had picked up the book that Eve had been looking at before. It was a good book for what the child was interested in.

Marie wandered over after a while to lightly place a hand on Emery's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Em, I hate to cut things short, but we have to go pick up Chad." the woman apologized to her daughter and to Eve.
Emery shrugged and smiled a bit to Eve, "Good to meet you." she said politely once more. "I have to leave now."

Eve nodded, "You too. I hope to see you again." The ragdoll understood that Emery did have to leave. She'd just get Lila to get that techinque book before leaving as well.
She headed over to where Lila was with a gleam that the nanny knew very well. It was the look that the child got when Lila was holding something she wanted. The nanny took the toddler's hand and walked with her to buy the book.
Eve waved to Emery, hoping that she and her mother had a good day.
