Kusari smiled an evil grin as the sword re-sheathed itself. He sidestepped Foust, ignoring his threats and his electric riatsu. Being a master of flash style hakuda meant having no fear of electric zanpakuto. "You say you wish to justify yourself and yet I hear now words spilling forth from your mouth. Even if you captain tried to fight me for your protection it would be a meaningless effort if you were a traitor to the soul society, so spill it already, Why were you in your captain's office hiding beneath his desk, and surprising your riatsu? Just admit it, you were intent on taking your captain by surprise and killing him just like the others did. Don't lie little girl, I may as well take you to squad two right now." Riatsu began to gather in his left hand as he held two fingers facing firmly towards the ground. In his head he spoke the words of the kido he would us to restrain whichever of the two jumped first.

Sayuri felt her face burning with anger. Captain or not, he shouldn't make such false judgements! Carefully, Sayuri brushed back her long hair with her left hand. "Captain Kusari, I'm no traitor! The reason that I'm hiding my spiritual pressure and hiding under this table was because I was playing with Captain Foust. I decited to have him follow me here so that I could scare him. I know how foolish this sounds, but you have to believe me" Sayuri said angerly "My zanpakuto is out of reach, I'm hiding under a table, and I don't even have my shihakusho on! Some assassin I'd be! You saw me as soon as you walked through that door. If I was an traitor don't you think I'd pick a better hiding spot? Captain Kusari, you are wrong about me being a tratior. I love the soul society, thats why I decited to protect it here in squad 13. I wanted to scare my captain, scare him so that I could tell if he is still angry..." The assistaint-captain shifted under the table. I've told the truth, but will he beleive it...?

Without acknowledging her Kusari turned and re-approached Foust. He grabbed Foust's Haori lightly and said, "I came to congratulate you on becoming a captain, but obviously your just a man in a captain's uniform Fousty boy, so forgive my intrusion." As he let go and continued forward, rolling his eyes he added, keep a tighter leash on your dog Foust, otherwise she may ruin the carpet in your new home." The tactician spoke in riddles, but Foust should be used to that by now.

As Arana was sheathed, Foust didn't really know what to say. It was like his old captain had changed, but in fact it was he who had changed. Kusari never really gave him the acknowledgement nor the respect that he wished to achieve. Even after accomplishing so much, he was still treated like an unworthy shinigami. Not sure of how to go about earning Kusari's full respect, he didn't want to pester the man. The fact that he held a sword to an unarmed opponent and ally just made him furious. This just showed how little he cared for the shinigami of other squads. He couldn't have the descency to talk first, but rather unsheath his zanpakuto and threaten them.
" Think what you want Kusari, I really don't care for what you have to say anymore." This was a small white lie, because if there was one thing he wanted more than anything, it was his former mentor's complete respect. Now the objective of proving himself to Kusari became the most important task at hand.

Sayuri looked down at the floor, her thoughts constantly changing. After waiting for a moment the shinigami gathered her things off of the floor and crawled out from beneith the table. Sayuri slowly looked up at her captain, "...Thank you for comming to help me, captain. I.... I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble..." The shinigami said quietly before she looked down at her feet "If I hadn't acted so immature this would have never happened. Forgive me, Captain, I didn't mean for it to turn out like this..." After taking a bow Sayuri turned around walked out of her captain's office. It's funny how these things work, awai. I went from trying to cheer Captain Foust up to me being the one who needs cheering up... ((Exit))
