Evan scrambled to her feet. "I'll be in Liberta, Love. Waiting for you in a hotel." She promised then walked from the room.

Mason took out a scapel and held it out at Eden. "Don't do anything rash. You've gotten what you wanted and more."

Eden laughed darkly. "You think this is enough? You think your payment is made? After all the pain and torture that you put my friends through? You're more insane than I am if you think that you have paid your debt."

Mason stepped over to his desk and pulled out a small button and pushed it. He smirked slightly then turned around. "Oh yes, insane." he remarked with a snicker. He knew that the orderlies might be to late, but he hoped not.

"Fool. She might have lived..." Eden reached over to the side table and grabbed one of the bigger knives with a serrated edge. "Would you like your hands free now? Be my guest." She quickly sliced the nurses wrists, pushing her off her chair onto one of the ones with spikes. Eden turned and glared at Mason.

Mason cursed and ran to the window. He opened it and leapt through, forgetting Lyric comepletly. He ran to the staff rooms and locked himself in his room.

"And that was the one who cared about you? Hah! Sucks for you, but I'll be nice. Your wrists were slit wrong. They should stop bleeding soon. As for your other injuries, here." Eden doused the nurse in a bottle of ethanol and threw her a first aid kit. "Don't make me regret helping you. I won't be so kind then." Eden jumped out the window, chasing down the doctor.

Mason had locked himself in his bathroom, scapel still in hand. He sat on the toilet seat, ready to lunge if nessecery.

Eden stood outside his door. "Oh...mean Dr. Mason isn't so tough when the tables are turned...now is he?" She was leaning against the wall for support, the drugs in her system taking another wacky turn with her brain.
