Whoever was writing these directions really wasn’t that creative. At least that’s what he thought, but the good thing now was that he didn’t have another light on his axe. For once, fighting with a toy that wasn’t intended to smack a senshi about was just harmless fun, and he really was having fun. With all his other serious duties, this little adventure reminded him he was still a kid. If only he could feel that way all the time. Deciding that this at least served as a nice break, he told himself that he was glad he came. It didn’t even really matter if he won the prize now, since he at least got back for getting smacked in the forehead. Even better, he was now equal to 2 other people in his group. Looking for opening ceilings and walls, and also cruddy props was a great distraction, and he looked around to see that there was more ahead.
As the prop monster went away, a bit more dented than when it first appeared, he ignored it and went straight ahead to the next room. He didn’t even want to know if following the monster would lead him to get attacked again, and another room meant more stretching space. For now, being with a party wasn’t so bad. It made this place a lot less creepy. If he had been alone, he would have been more unsettled by the dark hallways and the sudden appearance of poorly-made monsters. Tate could testify that he got scared over bad special affects, being the only person to be truly scared while watching Zombie Patrol on I-240. Yes, it was better to stick to a group, and he followed ahead to investigate the new room. Maybe they would get something else. He could use a helmet if they were going to drop more stuff on his head.

s**t, now she had a light too! The little cardboard beastie had tapped her sword down so that it clattered down on the ground (well, it more like bounced with its rubber coating). Blushing a bit, she picked up the sword again and got a firm grip on it.
From here, Calintha didn't know which way to go. The room ahead looked interesting, but she was very intrigued as to where the cardboard monster headed off to. The girl stood there with her sword as the people around her made decisions. Ladon and Lily both headed off into the next room, while Peyton went after the monster. "Wait, you shouldn't go off alone!" She hurried after the other girl who had a head start at this point, in order to investigate where the cardboard monster went.
It would be better for them to not go off alone- even if they got into trouble it was more reassuring to go with others. As she turned the corner she called out to the others moving ahead to the room. "Be right back guys, where gonna see where this thing went."

Alessa is now armed with the Mace. [X] [ ] [ ]Calintha is now armed with the Sword. [X] [ ] [ ] Ladon is now armed with the Axe. [X] [ ] [ ] Liliana is now armed with the #1 Fan Foam Finger. [ ] [ ] [ ] Peyton is now armed with the Baseball Bat. [ ] [ ] [ ] The Bridge - Liliana, Ladon The room ahead seems a LOT more inviting than the hallway -- perhaps the fact that it's not as dim here factors into it, as well as the fact that this room looks better decorated than the rest of the shambling place. It turns out, however, that the "table" in the room is actually a very odd bridge. Or at least it's supposed to look like one, at least -- several planks of wood were lain across a couple concrete bricks. This construction is placed over what looks to be a blue-construction paper representation of water. As you approach the bridge, a cardboard monster pops up from where it was lying across the bridge! It appears to be blocking your way, preventing you from continuing on. Attack the vile pop-up!Walk around the bridge and avoid the monster completely in order to continue on.Walk around the bridge, but head towards another exit you can see, off to one side.A Tight Squeeze - Peyton, Calintha The monster tracks lead into a wall, but when you reach out to feel the wall, there's nothing there! You take a couple steps forward until it clicks: it's an optical illusion! In fact, Peyton had first-hand experience with a similar illusion when they first arrived at Tanglewood. Looking around, it appears the illusion hid another passageway. Unfortunately, while traversing the passageway you get stuck. Roll a 10-sided dice until you roll a 7 or higher to free yourself.((OOC Note: Make the rolls here. You can post Soandso struggles to free herself! as a placeholder for rolling, if needbe. :3 )) [Edit!] (( If you're stuck, please keep posting and rolling 'til you break free. )) ??? - Alessa From behind the group, you feel something... watching you. You turn around to look back the way you came. Did you hear something? No, no, it had to be the soundtrack to the game. Really! You turn around again and are about to continue forward when something grabs you from behind, pressing something against your mouth! You start to feel very sleepy... ... When you come to, you realize that you're sprawling across a couch. "Hey, are you feeling better?" The ticket-taker from earlier looks down at you, shaking your shoulder. "C'mon, you gave it a fair shot -- the place may look simple, but I've gotten tired too." You are escorted from the premises, feeling fatigued but oddly... not sleepy. Strange. It won't be until you return home that you realize someone stole $5 from your wallet. Or did you drop it? No matter, you could always go back tomorrow and see if anyone reported it to the lost and found. In the meantime, now's a good time to just... rest... Game Over -- Thank You for playing!

Calintha hadn't been far behind Peyton when she discovered the optical illusion pathway. It was hidden behind a cleverly painted wall where the cardboard monster had disappeared to. She followed the other girl into the space behind the illusion, only to have it get uncomfortably tight.
It wasn't long before she had wedged herself fairly snug in the two walls. Somehow in her struggling, Calintha's left foot got stuck in an exposed wall beam. And with the passage only being about as wide as herself, it was very difficult to get out of it without breaking her leg in the process, or for that matter breaking the wall. There was no telling what breaking a beam would do even if she could; there was always the possibility that it was a support beam or load bearing. And the thought of being stuck with the walls collapsing in was not comforting in the slightest. The blonde sucked in her breath and tried again to wiggle herself free, only to fail miserably.
"Oh! Ow!" The painful remarks slipped through her heavy breathing. Despite this, the blonde girl twisted every which way she could trying to pry her leg out, and had no luck at all. She couldn't go any farther forward, that was for sure. She hadn't really tried moving backwards, since that seemed detrimental to the progression of the game. "I'm stuck, I can't go any further in. I don't even know if I can get out!" Maybe Peyton would be able to help her sticky predicament. Calintha had gotten in though, and even if she couldn't move forward in this hall, she could still (hopefully) turn around and catch up with Ladon and Liliana. Perhaps they had found better things in their room. She was certainly wishing she had followed them now, though leaving the other girl to her own devices would have probably made her feel much worse than this.
Finally after struggling extra hard one last time, Calintha managed to free herself from the wall with a sickening crack. Thankfully, it was the wall that had cracked and not her ankle; the board her food had been stuck in lay broken at her feet. It looked in not so good shape, partially rotted through to begin with. She felt fine, ankle included, though she was a little shaky from struggling and there were some abrasions on her skin from struggling.
The girl leaned against the wall and just breathed for a little while, calming her body back down. She bent down and picked up her foam sword that had been dropped, and looked around for Peyton. It was difficult for her to see in the dark hallway, and Calintha wasnt sure if the other girl had continued on without her.

Peyton noticed one of the girls had followed her - Calintha, right? She then took the lead, leading the way to...a secret passageway! Oh, this was so exciting! So exciting that Peyton gave a yelp and jumped back when Calintha got stuck, stumbling backwards and...into a slight predicament of her own, her leg wedged between two of the floorboards, in a space where one had either broken or been removed.
"...Ow, this kinda hurts," Peyton whined, pulling as hard as she could to try and free herself. She gave one hard tug, before gasping to herself, deciding that no, that wasn't going to work. Next she tried whacking at the wood with the baseball bat. Despite it being made of foam, luckily it loosened up the adjacent floorboards enough for Peyton to wiggle her leg free, hands quickly rubbing at the sore patches, the teen relieved to find that she'd been left with only bruises. Looking back up, she was glad to see that Calintha had also freed herself, and continued down the dark, secret passageway. Turning herself sideways to slip though the walls the blonde had gotten stuck between, she placed a hand carefully on Calintha's shoulder, not wanting to spook the girl, but at the same time wanting to make sure she realized that Peyton was there.
"C'mon, lets investigate," Peyton grinned, eyes sparkling as she nudged Calintha forwards, indicating that she wanted to continue down the hallway they were in.

Liliana walked into the next room and smiled seeing it had better lighting and seemed to be decorated much better than the other room and the hallways. Lily was grateful for it was cleanier, but a little saddened that the table appeared to be a very odd and rather cheaply made bridge.
Lily looked back to see only Ladon remained with her and shook her her. "I hope the other's do not get into any trouble. They probably shouldn't have followed that decoration."
She turned back looking to the bridge then over her shoulder to Ladon, "Shall we cross then," she asked before taking a step forward.
She nearly jumped when the monster she hadn't noticed lying on the brigde popped up, but it seemed to be just as fake and cheaply made as the last. Lily sighed lightly.
She looked around and noticed that if she wanted she couldn't go around the monster or even go through another door off to the side, but she'd been so well thus far she decided to go with the flow and battle the monster.
"En garde," she said as she moved forward, foam finger at the ready to attack the monster.

As the group split up, he followed after Liliana, walking into the room was at least a bit more cheerful than the other rooms, though still keeping with the low-budget effect. Looking up at the painted clouds, he guessed this place was suppose to be outside, and then spotted a paper river and a cheap bridge. Someone had to have fun making all these props and monsters, and just at Liliana went on ahead, a new monster appeared.
Standing before the bridge, he looked at the fake river and the monster on the bridge, and then looked at his axe with the one, glowing light. On a normal day, he would follow the rules, but he remembered how he got hit in the face without any warning until afterwards. The same thing happened with the monster. While he was told that hitting these monsters would be fun, there wasn’t anything saying he could pretended to ‘swim’ over the river. It just made sense, and it technically wasn’t cheating when you were just being smart.
Turning around, he hoped over the river to get around the bridge. There wasn’t anything saying ‘go on bridge much fun’ yet, which meant it was perfectly fine to do so.

??? - Everyone "FFFFFFT! BAHAHAHA! DID YOU SEE THAT? DID YOU JUST SEE THAT?" "Everyone can see it." "LAH-MAH-EM-OH THAT WAS AWESOME!" "It was surely a crowning moment of awesome, though your mileage may very. Also..." A pause. "Is this thing still on?" "AW HE-" CLICK. What... the hell was that on the intercom? At least it's good to know that there's at least two people watching what's going on. What were they referring to, though?
They Were Referring to You Two -- Peyton and Calintha The secret passage is rather... unique in the aspect in that when building the attraction, it appears workers merely shoved random bits of odds and ends here. They also painted helpful orange streaks of paint to indicate dangerous areas to not step in, which was sadly lost due to the dim lighting. To make matters even more spectacular, Calintha (having freed herself before Peyton), arrived just in time behind the girl to receive a WHACK! from Peyton's baseball bat as the other girl struggled to free herself, succeeded just as soon as a light lit up on Calintha's sword.
Further down the passage, there is a bend. And after that, a door. Beyond that... Well, the backside of a cardboard monster is rather boring, but at least you can see Liliana on the other side of it!
Help Liliana Defeat the Monster - roll one 20-sided dice. Maybe she hasn't seen you? Sneak quietly on.
Ohnoes! Killer Cardboard Monster! -- Liliana The cardboard monster would have been scarier if it was in a proper haunted house. It was green, had several eyeballs, a large mouth... Yeah. If there wasn't any sort of light at all, it'd be scary in the sense of WHAT IS THAT THING oh it's a cardboard monster? Lame.
It wobbles back and forth in a threatening manner, then something drops from the ceiling right on top of you! Roll two twenty-sided dice. The first number will represent Liliana's ability to dodge, and the second number will be her attack upon the monster.
IT'S A TRAP! -- Ladon As soon as all of your weight is on the blue water, the ground suddenly disappears from under you! The other girls can only look on in surprise as you disappear from view, the trapdoor resetting with a rather loud click.
Thankfully you land on something... soft. It's too dark to see anything, but you get the feeling that you're in a room. Looking around, you can see some light glowing softly under what looks to be a door... but what's that strange sound?
Investigate the room further. Exit the room. Go to the door and listen. OPTIONAL! You think this is a secure room. There's no red lights to indicate a camera, but who knows if there's a hidden camera or microphone? You can transform into Lt. Wolframite if you wish here... but is there a risk? Is it worth it? If you decide to go this route, feel free to add this to your post AND pick an additional option.

Seeing another little light on her sword blink into existence, Calintha sighed. She only had one left now, and if the first stanza had been right, that meant she was only one step away from being ejected from the game. As weird as the game was, it was rather interesting in the fact that it wasn't Calintha sitting at home doing nothing. She wanted to continue doing whatever it was because it was with people, and it was fun! For the most part anyways. Her ankle and her pride hurt a little.
At the intercom clicking on, she jumped a little. It was two men talking, seemingly unaware of the fact that they were doing so. Apparently, even though she hadn't seen any cameras they were being watched. It made it even creepier, and a chill ran up her spine. As soon as it clicked off she looked about a little nervously. "Well... that was weird."
The passage wound all the way through the attraction it seemed, like some kind of service tunnel for cardboard monsters. She could see Liliana in the distance, from what looked to the the backside of another cardboard monster. She debated a ways back from everything, having stopped behind Peyton to figure things out. One of the monsters had said to make sure you attack them, but did that count if they were backwards? Calintha was pretty sure she could sneak by to avoid being hit again and receive her last light.
But, what the hell, it was just a game right? Even if there were weird men watching. Calintha looked around again. She stood to the side, pressed up against the wall and away from the tracks, making sure that if the monster backed up like all the others had, it wouldn't hit her when leaving. She took a stab at it with the sword. "Hey Liliana! Hows it-" She paused when she saw something drop on top of Liliana, giving a little yell of surprise. Figuring she would at least try to help out, Calintha reached around to the front of the monster, giving it a little smack, trying to help Liliana to defeat the monster. And hopefully, her good deed would be rewarded, and she could join the group again instead of being stuck in the nasty tunnel.

Lily grinned at the ridiculus looking monster. It had so many eyes, but it mattered not. She had to ... wait what was that. Lily turned to see Ladon disappear from view.
"Ladon," she called out terrified that the floor had dropped out from beneath his feet.
Unfortunately the monster still stood before he and had it ... had it wobbled. Lily's head flew around to see the monster teetering dangerously. She frowned as whatever was holding the monster up seemingly snapped and the monster began to fall. She saw Calintha as the monster came down, but she said nothing as she knew she needed to get out of the way. Lily held up her foam finger and attempted to dodge the monster.

...Ohwhoops. Was that light on Calintha's sword from her? Feeling her cheeks flush red, several hurried "Sorry!"'s rushed out of the teen's mouth as she stumbled forwards down the passageway after...was Calintha a friend? More an acquaintance, really. The familiar crackling of an intercom sounded throughout the room, and the amber-eyed girl paused with a frown as two voices came on. ...Were they laughing at them? What the hell, was this some practical joke?! Pouting a little, not too pleased, Peyton continued around the bend and was soon faced with a door. Going through said door she was faced with the backside of the monster, with Liliana on the other side of it.
Alessa and Ladon were nowhere to be seen. Maybe they'd found a way out? Suddenly aware that Calintha was leaping forwards and attacking the monster, Peyton blinked, spying a small path to the side where she could sneak around. But...they needed her help. She didn't want to do anything on her own, what if she was wrong? And so Peyton leapt forwards, armed with her baseball bat, helping Liliana defeat the monster.

Someone telling him that he was cheating or another light turned on for not following the rules. This is the worst of what he expected for hoping over the water. Instead, he first heard the crackle of an intercom followed by a excited conversation from two people who seemed to be watching them. Then, just as he landed and the intercom was being turned off, the floor fell through. Just like that, pieces of blue construction paper fell past him and he dropped down, the latch clicking shut above and sinking him into darkness.
Then he landed on something soft, which was a relief since he really did expect a hard impact. Stunned and clutching his chest, he tried to get his bearings before looking up. “What a dirty trick!” He thought, but then again, there had been a bridge. So much for thinking he was being clever.
Looking about, he found himself in a dark room, alone. This was not good. He noticed a long sliver of light from a door, and then he heard the noise. A strange, creepy noise, and he scrambled to find his fallen axe, grabbing it to have a little bit of light. Noise was a bad thing. When Tate played scary games, it was his job to sit on the couch, clutching a pillow, and telling her when the music changed. She had always told him when that happened, something would jump out and try and kill you. He had seen it plenty of times at her house, where horrible experiments or deformed zombies jumped out and started to tear out large chucks of their neck, blood spurting and UGH! It was all too much.
Now he was alone and in a creepy place, and without someone else with him, what was seen as tacky was now actually making him worried. There was still the noise, and he whimpered as he held his foam axe. “It’s just a game. These people can’t afford anything too scary. They probably just have a stereo with sound effects on tape. That’s all.” Oh great, now he was talking to himself.
Slowly rising from whatever he just fell on, he moved away from the room, the darkness, and started to head for the light. There was no way he was going to be like every horror movie clique and go towards the creepy noises. Moving to the door, he pressed a ear and listened, wondering if there was another tacky monster behind it.
