Isis Spiegel I got the Pocket Watch Box Set (Import) For Christmas and I didn't niticed it till after my Gran ordered it but it says "Don't Forget 3.Oct.11" Instead of "Don't Forget 3.Oct.10". Does anyone know why it says 11 insted of 10? I don't want to get rid of the watch. On the contray I love it but I wanna know why it says 11. lol in the manga they leave on oct. 11 not the tenth the are alot of differences between the manga and the anime they are almost like completely different stories

Heh heh heh......
I bought mine myself. I thought the date thing was concfusing as well, but i figured at least i have one. Besides, i can always save my money and go to a jewelry store and have it inscribed correctly. Mine cost $10.01. I Never let it out of my sight, unless i am in the shower.(Do not want it to get wet) Ebay is awesome. Though i like FMA, i also like Naruto and i want to get a Sound Village headband.

Ok, people seem to have lost sight of what this post was originally about, so here goes.
"Don't Forget 3.Oct.10" This was scratched into the inside of the pocketwatch by Ed, who later explains to Winry that he had it there to remind him of his hardships, even if it's childish. Winry then goes on to explain to Pinako that it was the date that the Elric brothers burned their hose to the ground.
"Don't Forget 3.Oct.11" is what the inside of the mass-produced fandom pocket watch. I bought myself one about a month ago, and I did notice the difference. The date on the pocket watch that you can buy, like the one I have, is presumably from the manga. That is the date that Edward and Alphonse Elric left their home, the day after they burned it to the ground. The change is not that important, and is most likely not a mistake at all. It does not compromise the value or the authenticity of the watch either. One must understand the quite often things get lost in translation, and that the FMA manga and the anime differ quite a bit.

I have a pocket watch too! I brought it at ACen 06 and It was $25. It also has the Oct 11/11 date too... sweatdrop

 I guess they followed the manga. In the manga it says "Don't forget 3.Oct.11". In anime it says "Don't forget 3.Oct.10". Correct me if I'm wrong please ^^;.
