Kirra smiled softly, and pulled her stubby paws beneath her large chest. She was surprised to hear that Kalia was a jealous type. Most females just didn't like her, jealousy or not. She doubted there was much to be a jealous of her though, so it would be unlikely...she hoped, that problems would not break out between them. Kirra certainly didn't have anything to be desirable.
Her heart fluttered at the thought of never being alone. But she'd been made similar promises, and so hard was it to destroy this bitterness. She did trust Catalyst though- more then the others who she had followed before. He wasn't like them, he didn't ask for things from her. She could think of nothing she'd like more then to just be allowed within their company. Carefully, she shifted her tail as Catalyst went about his demonstration, fluffing out his chest and telling her not to worry. It meant a lot to her to hear it, for she was the kind of person who could not be left to assume things on her own. Her ears folded gently against her head, and she smiled awkwardly, but in as much a genuine way as she could muster. These wolves were good wolves, she knew that. "If you shall be- then so shall I." Kirra said dutifully, and nodded her head softly.

Kirra smiled softly as she watched Catalyst continue, and although she had trouble expressing such adoration on her face, she felt deeply touched to be even offered such a promise. Many wolves had implied promises to her before, but very few had actually spoken them directly to her. And like before, she needed to hear such things to be able to cling to them. She was the kind of wolf that could cling forever on a promise, even if it wasn't held up to. And she would do whatever she could to make sure Catalyst's hopes for the future were so accomplished. He seemed to zone out from there. Although Kirra could not venture to know what he was thinking of, about a moment of his slackened jaw stare and glassy eyes hazed with perhaps all his ideas for this pack bubbling forward, she couldn't help but wheezingly chuckle, and press her head upon her orange capped paws. Love- love had been something that Kirra had not felt just felt once. She fell in love easily, with most anyone willing to take her in. Perhaps she was so eager to follow so many out of her search for some sort of love- but it wasn't necessarily the kind of love that was just for her. She searched for anything that she could pull herself towards. The thought of the kind of love which entailed mates and children was something that she had never given much thought to, as men did not spare much attention for the brutish female. It was not something so terribly lost upon her, for she was willing to love, unabashedly, anyone. She could spend much adoration upon those she followed.

Kirra chuckled softly, and shook her head. She did not mind Catalyst's actions, and really had only found the slackened jaw portion more amusing then agitating. Gently she rose back up, her strange body pulling awkwardly upon her shoulder blades, and she peered around the sky's setting. He looked full of hope, and some of it spilled off from him and collected somewhat in the boughs of Kirra's chest. She hung their for a moment before he flopped onto the ground, and started to roll around. The black creature raised her head slowly. "Yes, it is nice..." She spoke, looking about the woodland. It was quiet, but for once this was not so bad.

Catalyst rolled over slightly to watch the lanky female. He gave off a hoarse chuckle, before returning to his position and smiling up to the skies. It was quite, but not in a bad way. He had company, and found both female's company warming and welcoming. His tail lashed against the ground, as he watched the skies for yet another moment. His eyes were becoming heavy, and he could feel sleep frothing over his body.
I'll just....close my eyes for a moment. He thought, Just a moment. and slowly, the male fell into a light slumber. He'd awaken when Kalia returned of coarse, but as for now, he was sleepy, and the silence was indeed comforting.

Kirra turned her head, watching as Catalyst seemed to wear himself out from all the excitement. The was fine, she thought. He probably needed it, and lord knows she did after all of this. But she kept herself awake, for it was unlikely that Kalia was too far gone by now, and gently propped herself up against the edge of the large stone. It really was a rather lovely night though...

(( >3 Alrighty... ninja ))
Well, the older female had managed to snag an old buck who had just happened to fall behind the herd. But there was still the question of how she was going to get it back. It was fairly small yet it had a surprisingly good amount of meat on it. Could she drag it back to them? Figuring it was worth a try, she circled around to the head, grasping its neck firmly in her jaws. Suddenly she gave a heavy tug, but the animal only moved a couple of inches.
This was not going to work. Kal might have been strong, but she was tired.
Growling in frustration, she picked up the neck in her mouth again and pulled once more, thinking that maybe she had had a bad grip before. But the same thing happened this time and she grew agitated.
Then she randomly remembered that she had told Catalyst she'd howl if the game was too big or heavy to bring back. So immediately she raised her nose to the sky and let out a series of different howls, all of which gave off the same message:
I've found a nice buck, come eat!

Catalyst groaned softly, moving his paw over his muzzle and keeping it there for a moment, as if shielding the sun from his eyes. He had heard the howl, yes, but he wasn't in the mood to respond to it. Hunger was digging away at his innards, but he was to tired to move at all. He huffed softly, before relaxing once more; yet the same thing happened, a howl cut through the air, bringing the same message.
Food.
It was obvious, to Catalyst, that the female was taunting him to come. A good hardy meal was what he needed, and in his mind she was merely trying to ruin his slumber by swinging food in front of his muzzle. He hissed to himself, completely forgetting that Kirra sat just a few feet from his spot, and rose onto all fours, his head hanging just below his shoulders, in a sulking manner. He stood there, for a few brief moments, before taking in a long breath and looking towards Kirra, upsettingly. 'Come, lets go get our food so we can rest...' and under his breath, he mumbled to himself cautiously 'Can't a guy get some sleep around here, without having to jump up to the sound of a female?'
His ears shot back as he made his way to the tree line, stopping to wait for Kirra.

Kirra kept herself awake for the moments that Catalyst allowed himself to fall into slumber. She sat silently besides the rock, zoning out for a bit until the low howl began to flood across the forest's soundscape. Her ears pivoted upwards and she raised her snout into the air, listening to the quick song which said simply, "Come- there is food!" Ever since Catalyst had showed up that one day so many months ago, she had been relatively well fed in comparison to her skin and bone days of mucking around with nothing to eat but small voles. But food still had a clutch upon her being, and the sound of food being ready instantly excited her. Even in this stable condition, she still ate everything as though it would be the last time she'd have food in some while. Awkwardly she began to dance about, waiting for Catalyst to slowly get up- looking lethargic and a bit unhappy about his wakeup call. "Yes, we should eat." Her twisted voice made out as she lumbered beside him, anxious to get off and find where Kalia was about.

Kalia waited a few moments, almost expecting a howl in repsonse to let her know that they were on their way. When none came, however, she didn't seem all that worried. Maybe Catalyst had just been too lazy to call back out.
Narrowing her eyes at nothing, she moved around and around the carcass, waiting with her stomach rumbling. In her old pack, if someone managed to catch something, they were allowed to eat it and keep it all for themselves. Of course, some had to be saved for the pups, if there were any. The alpha didn't much care being as he could just ram into something and it would fall over--he was a LARGE wolf. And so the she-wolf had grown up with the habit of just eating when she found something, not waiting for others to gather and eat with her.
So it was pretty hard for her to stand there with the smell of luscious meat drifting into her nose. It was torture, almost.
But she would do it.... how rude would it look when they came and she was already gorging herself? Very rude. So with that thought the gray femme just sat there, looking out at the forest instead of the carcass, guarding her meet and acting as lookout.

Kirra lumbered forward, following Catalyst's leave as the pair vanished into the direction Kalia was calling them forth from. She was glad he moved at a steady trot, for although she could certainly give up a good run, she was feeling a bit strained from the day- and it was nice to keep at an easy pace. Her blackened head swung, keeping a cautious glance about the area they were moving through. Upon arrival to the kill, she almost instantly felt flooded with a sense of hunger- but she knew certainly much better then to just eat. Carefully, she maneuvered herself around the pair, towards the rear, and sat herself down until the other two decided just how the eating should commence. She certainly had no problems in waiting, and gently, she folded her paws against her chest, and lay herself into the grass.
