Catalyst paced himself. This was a big ordeal for him, and for the two other females who were readily going to meet soon. The seemingly brittle ebony-brown mixed female named Kirra, with the somewhat scary yet glorious voice and amazing size, was soon to arrive; followed by the silvery and beautiful Kalia.

He took a shaky seat upon the lofty rock, and patiently awaited the two's arrival. He'd never before attempted something like this, which made him nervous. He didn't know what he would say after introducing, and hoped the females would strike up a conversation of some kind.

He'd simply have to wait it out.

Kirra stumbled, pale fluffs of snow doing anything they could to drag the brutishly large female from her unsteady journey. Not only was it bitterly miserable weather for the dark black creature to be traveling, but she was struck with an unwavering sense of concern within the bows of her barreled chest. Although she had been sure that it would only be a matter of time before she would be extricated from this land, the large female found herself instead convening amidst a clearing to meet up with Catalyst, and the strange female he had recently taken up to being closer then usual with. The idea of another female was most severely unnerving to the large omega. She got along with males fine, but never had she had of the female company. Most could not tolerate her for too long, and although Kirra allowed herself a little bit of hopefulness (for she did trust Catalyst's judgment), she also knew how such things traditionally went. She'd had a lot of experience in being thrown out of places.

The Doberman hued creature stepped clumsily over a lower branch. She could see Catalyst in the distance now, and her scarred throat tightened in concern. There was no one about yet however, for had their been she might have hung back longer. But seemingly being the second of this strange group to arrive, she quickly crouched and padded swiftly up to where Catalyst sat upon a stone. She hovered quickly in it's shadow, whining slightly in greeting, before beginning her own bought of pacing. It was hard for her to ungrip her wild paranoia about meetings, and it didn't take long for her to thoroughly exhaust herself in the entire ordeal. She flopped finally on the grass and panted, her tail fixed between her legs and ears pressed to her skull.

Unlike the omega-ish female of Kirra, the tiger shark-colored wolf was more frustrated and curious than anything. First, she was frustrated because her new-found love hadn't bothered to mention another female. Hopefully this one wouldn't be emotionally involved with him. That would call on some major problems. Secondly she was curious beause she wondered what sort of female this wolf would turn out to be. Some lowly omega? Some high and mighty alpha of some lands that Catalyst was just sucking up to to get a good place in a pack? Kal preferred the omega idea.

As she went along, her good eye suddenly spotted Catalyst, her love, up ahead. It also spotted, however, the form of the pacing Kirra. A small growl escaped her lips as her fur bristled. This was a new feeling... one she couldn't quite explain..

In an attempt to get rid of it, though, the gray wolfess stealthily made her way forward, planning to hide and possibly scope out this female before she actually had to meet her. So, being as quiet as possible and making sure to stay downwind, she moved closer and closer until there was just a bush separating her from the other two.

Then she lay down on her belly, getting comfortable and staying silent as she watched the two.

A trickle of hope spread through the male as the lanky female Kirra came from behind the thicket and appeared before him in the frosty air. He smiled, letting out a low, pleasant gruff of emotion towards the female before leaping off his pedistool and loping towards her. 'Kirra, welcome!' he approached her quickly, then smiled. She was already lying on the earth with her features seemingly frightened. He crouched slightly, his haunches lowering so he could speak to her at eye level. 'Kirra, dont be afraid. Nothing shall happen. Kalia may seem hostile and seem....well scary to you, but trust my word, this shall go well. No matter how many bumps we must cross. She does not warm up to strangers as quickly as one may hope, but give it time.' The elder smiled. His grin spreading, showing his tinted yellow fangs and possibly emitted the strange scent of squirrel, and yet appeared strong and knowing.

He then peered about, his earth-toned body shaking with excitement. Now all was left was Kalia, and her arrival would be the beginning of the occasion.

The black and orange creature pressed herself closer to the stone's surface, the ice cold edges of the stone dug into her shambled coat and thick back. Cautiously, her wild yellow eyes flicked about, before finally settling themselves on Catalyst, who had moved down beside her. In response to his cautions, she did nothing but whine, but there was a slight bristle to her orange splashed coat. She had already assumed this female would be hostile- but to have it consciously known on Catalysts part meant that this Kalia was a hostile figure... Kirra snorted. The omega truly did not have a confrontational bone in her body, but she was also a remarkably bitter creature. And added to that- she really was huge. She looked more male then female, even now sitting there in cowering frustration. There wasn't a thing graceful about the awkward female.

Kirra did rise her head to look at Catalyst. He had been very good to her this past while, and she tried to remind herself of that before her paranoia would take hold of her and cause her to flee. Privately, Kirra was formulating a theory that males really were a lot different then females. A male could beat one male up- and they would be friends the next day if the setting was right. Cross a female, and it never healed. And she was one wolf other females did not like. Too large and funny, too submissive to be believable, and in the end she normally worried the other creature to the point of being driven off. Hopefully this wouldn't be the case... but really, it had never not been the case.

She rested her head against her large paws. Her long injured throat was flexed miserably against her windpipe, and she could do nothing to respond much to Catalyst other then nod her head and anxiously swish her tail. She'd wait to see how this played out. But she would not let herself expect to be accepted...

The large--but not quite as large as Kirra--gray female lay there watching the other two wolves. It felt strange, spying on Catalyst, but she somehow felt that she needed to do it. It wasn't as if she didn't trust Catalyst.. it was that she didn't trust Kirra. So far, though, nothing had happened, only a simple explanation to Kirra about Kalia had been passed between the two.

As she lay there, she suddenly began to become increasingly impatient. She wanted to just show herself and get the darn introduction over with. The sooner she asserted her dominance over Kirra the better. But then again Catalyst had begged her to be nice and at least give the omega a chance. It had only been her love of Catalyst that she was even considering doing so.

In another second the gray she-wolf rose to her paws and shook out her fur. Another moment went by and she was coming out of the bush to face the two wolves before her. At first her expression was cold and emotionless. It was her first reaction to be hostile and harsh.

But after a minute of contemplating, Kal's face lightened and her stance loosened. She even tried to give the omega-ish female a smile. It was obvious she was trying to make this work for her hopefully soon-mate. She loved Catalyst and didn't want to lose him over some female friend of his.

Catalyst felt his heart race. He whispered under his breath, before lifting his haunches and approaching the other female, giving Kirra a nervous glance before doing so. Once he had arrived near the female, he merrily greated her with a nuzzle and a yip, then spun about. He could see in Kalia's first expression the menacing appearance, and was relived when she calmed. His paws shuffled in the winter snow before unlocking his jaws and speaking softly.

'Kalia, welcome dear. Please, come and meet my friend. We've been awaiting eagerly.' he glanced to Kirra, but didn't expect her to give a gentle smile. What he did hope for though was a greeting from one to the other. He shifted his gaze to Kalia and made a slight gesture towards Kirra and smiled, obviously trying to 'push' Kalia into saying hello.

He then approached Kirra half way, and looked back to Kalia. 'I'm glad you both came, I was hoping you would. If a pack is established, the members must be acquainted with one another, its vital.' he paused, and then continued steadily. 'And plus, I only wish for my new friend Kirra and my future Kalia are to become friends, at the least.' He chuckled, knowing this probably wasn't funny.

Then tension was felt at this point by the male, and soon he fell to his rump and waited for the first move.

Kirra flinched as the pale grey female came into view. She did not rise to greet the other, and let Catalyst do that, carefully grinding herself even closer to the stone. She snorted, and a low fluttering of mist slid from her nostrils. She kept herself respectful to Catalyst and listened as he spoke, her eyes glancing over this Kalia creature. She was a nicely built female, and it didn't surprise her that Catalyst had loved her. Reflectively, Kirra folded her ears, and glanced away.

But she supposed she would have to look their direction sooner or later. And with a swallow, she returned her glance towards Kalia. She flinched, and pushed herself a little more against the rock, panting slowly. Catalyst seemed to be gently prodding his love into saying hello, and Kirra felt slightly dejected for having to cause others to be prodded into greeting. Lowly, she shifted her head, but kept her fur bristled upwards, and slowly rumbled- "Hello." Her voice ended swiftly, rough and awkwardly formed as she spoke. She flinched again, and decided to see what would come of this.

Hmph, now that Kal was closer to Kirra she could get a better look of the female. The other seemed more masculine than one might have thought possible. It was a little strange, standing there and scaring someone who looked like she could just sit on you and you'd lose the battle. All it did for the gray one was give her a little extra ego boost, which wasn't always a good thing.

But when Catalyst spoke with that rough yet silky voice of his, she couldn't help but relax and smile a little. Oh she loved him so much and would do anything to keep him by her side. She felt that they were practically mates, but she wasn't quite sure about that.. she'd have to talk to him. Yet for the time being she just focused her attention on the task at hand: befriending Kirra. The male seemed to want it a lot so...

"It's a... pleasure to meet you... Kirra." The tone came out more harsh than she would have liked, but it couldn't be helped. But her good eye sparkled with some sort of hint to hopefully show the other that she meant well, at least for now.

Then the gray female sat, hoping to send the message that she wasn't about to tear anyone's throat out at this point. Her gaze also drifted away from Kirra and towards her love, possibly to give the doberman-colored female a chance to gain some confidence or something.

"You said something about a pack?"

Kirra flustered herself to a nod, although it was obvious that she was still rather concerned about this whole situation. As Catalyst hopped onto rock, she tilted her head upwards, her pale yellow eyes trained on him and quietly listening to what he had to say. She certainly hoped his idea of a pack would go through, whether or not she was welcomed amongst them for long. Her tail swayed gently, and she kept her face aloft and listening to his motions.

She was rather surprised as to what lengths Catalyst was going through just to make her acquainted with this lady friend. It was a strange feeling. Not too many people ever cared about the old wolf to even consider making personal sacrifices such as these. She knew that she'd stay with Catalyst as long as he would have her- it was the least she could do. But she found it hard to voice her opinions on the pack formation. After all, she was just an omega, and she decided the question had been more directed to Kalia then everyone. Cautiously, she shifted her eyes onto Kalia, waiting to see what the female had to say on the matter. Had they discussed this matter before?

Kalia tilted her head slightly when her love mentioned something about having talked to her about the whole pack idea before. Had he? If the conversation had taken place before, she didn't remember it. Darn her old age and bad memory! Inwardly she was battling with herself, outwardly she just nodded and seemed focused, at attention.

So as she stood there, looking up at the regal figure laying on the rock, she noticed the power he held over the two females. Kirra seemed to be a good and close friend of him, and she had fallen in love with him, willing now to follow him anywhere. And as she noticed his ears perk and his tail curl, she found her own lowering instinctively in difference.

Catalyst sure was taking this pack thing seriously, as well as his possible role as alpha. So... if he was to lead the pack, would that make her the alpha too?

The gray female's thoughts were interrupted when her new-found love asked if there were any objections and if they had any thoughts on the matter. That was when she looked over at the other female, who was also looking at her. For once she seemed perfectly tranquil, perfectly at ease. How could she resent this doberman female when there was no reason to?

To Catalyst she said, "How can there be an issue when we have just met?" Of course she knew exactly what he was getting at with her. Kal hadn't really liked the idea of Catalyst practically living with another female. It just wasn't natural for her.

"I think the pack idea is a great one." And she wasn't saying that just to please him. "But who is to be our leader... you?" Her tone held true curiousity, and not harsh mocking tones she might have used with anyone else.

Catalyst chuckled slightly, before giving Kirra a glance. Was she comfortable with Kalia as much as the silver she-wolf seemed with her? He wished he could have paused the pack conversation for a moment to get the Doberman-pelted females opinion, but obviously this could not be done.

He was curious to know what Kalia had to say, for honestly he hadn't spoken with the female about it. He just needed something to say, he needed to look good too. He waited, listening and nodding slightly, before clearing his throat, as if embarrassed. 'Well' he paused. He couldn't make out if Kalia was being serious or toying with his authority, and instead of stammering and plotting out his next move, he boldly nodded and spoke out towards the female in a neutral. 'Yes.'

There came, after the swift 'yes' rolled off his tongue, a soft smile in which was directed to both Kalia and Kirra. He then focused his gaze on Kirra. His body shifting over slightly. 'Kirra, what do you have to say. If your going to be part of the pack, we will want your opinion. Its important that all the members are recognized, no matter which position they stand in.' His eyebrow quirked as he peered to the female, knowing how shy and reserved the female could be.

He hoped this meant more to her then anything he'd done before, for that was the point of him making it.

Kirra's orange tipped ears twitched slightly as Catalyst addressed her, but she knew not anything to say at first. How could she have any say in such a pack's founding? She certainly couldn't contribute much to it besides a bottomless pit to feed, and the occasional awkward use of her bulkish strength. She also felt such strange feelings circulating the matter. She was deeply moved by being asked her opinion, and yet at the same time felt a bit upset when she found she had none. She'd follow Catalyst until he'd ask her not to, and she really didn't have much more of a say in the matter. It was in her nature to latch onto anyone who she could find some kindness from, until eventually she wore upon their nerves.

But still, he was expecting an answer, and she did not wish to look as though she did not care. She swallowed, and attempted to find something remotely coherent to say. What was there to say? She knew nothing of leadership and what it took to form a pack. And she certainly wasn't very smart either, and he mastery of articulate speech was less then none. "I..." Kirra stammered, and glanced to the side with a squint of her dark yellow eye. "I will follow no matter what is decided..." She rumbled, for she couldn't find anything more closer to her feelings then that. "Its good, not to be alone." She continued, but was mostly mumbling. "And I do not see why you could not run a pack."

She was a meticulous follower- Kirra was. But she could not formulate any more of an opinion then that. The fact that she couldn't greatly troubled her, and she sunk her head upon her paws with an unsteady flustering of thoughts.

So, Catalyst was planning on being the leader. Kalia wanted to ask if that meant she was the alpha as well, being his current love interest, but she thought the question would be better asked at a different time. If that time would ever come, she did not know.

However, when Kirra was about to speak, but couldn't seem to find the words, Kal almost felt sorry for the omega. Her own confidence came almost willingly and automatically whenever it came to things like this. The other, though, didn't seem to think so highly of herself and so obviously did not know what to say.

A slight frown came over her features when she thought about how rude she had been to Catalyst about this friend of his. She wasn't bad at all... she could probably prove useful to a growing pack if she was just given some confidence and appreciation.

Acting solely on impulse and not really sure what she was doing at the moment, the gray female hesitated then rushed forward towards the doberman female. Then, without a word, she began licking the top of her head. It was rough yet soft at the same time... it was her way of giving some sort of assurance or affection or something. Whatever it was, it wasn't a hostile move.

A moment later she was looking back up at her love, standing there so closely to the other female.

"Well then, Alpha.." She paused to bow respectfully and sincerely. "Where shall this pack of yours settle?"
