Obscurite watched her walk over and pick up a knife. For once in his existence living in Rasiel's body, he felt fear as his eyes went wide. 'No.. not again.. I don't let her die again!!!' He lunged forward and hit the knife out of her hand and then brought her into an embrace. He held her tightly, placing a hand softly behind her head. "Please, don't do that... Just... Just calm down." his voice was distressed, like he was trying not to panic himself. He couldn't let her be hurt, he just couldn't. "Does he really mean that much to you?.... I can talk to him.. tell him it was a mistake... Please, I just want you to calm down and stop crying... please.." his voice trailed off as he rested his head on hers gently, stroking her hair, hoping it would calm her down.

"It's not just that..." Sonnet sobbed, not returning the embrace but not fighting it either. "Kagyaku has been waiting for a moment like this. Deskri won't stop him if he tries to kill me...or even you for that matter...or well, Rasiel anyway. He's always been trying to get rid of me, to get rid of the one shred of hope, of optimism that Deskri has left, and now he has it, and Lord only knows what he'll do now that he has what he needs..." She then shook her head.
"Talking will do no good now...Kagyaku will have twisted his mind so much that it doesn't matter anymore...The only way to fix it is to probably remove Kagyaku from Deskri's body entirely before he'll listen to reason...And I don't know how to do that..."

Obscurite listened to her explain things a little more. He tried to remember how he even came about being in this body, thinking of ideas to separate Deskri and Kagyaku's bodies. He'd never thought on the idea of splitting his own body, which is why he didn't have a clear answer in his mind. He just felt that if he could find a way to help her, she'd be happy again, and for some reason, that's all he wanted at that moment. Obscurite kept holding her gently, trying to make her feel at least a little better. "I'll help you..." he whispered, closing his eyes, possibly avoiding tears himself. "This is my fault... the least I can do is help find a way to fix this... And, if we find a way to get them separated, I might have a chance at freedom too..." he mentioned, trying to justify why he would help her, but it was a little too obvious that wasn't his whole reason.

Sonnet sighed a bit. "Okay...but it might be best if you keep Rasiel away from Deskri for a while...I normally don't like the idea of you taking over his body, but he'd be safer that way, thus you'd be safer. I doubt you'd be able to do anything with Rasiel's body torn apart...A...and I should stay away from him too...Until things get better..."
She was too tired now to cry anymore, so she just leaned against him. For a bad thing, he didn't seem so bad, but then again she saw him hurt Alice...It was all so confusing.

"Rasiel has been left in the dark so far... he doesn't know what's happened. The best bet is that I keep him there for now, until we can find a way to separate Kagyaku and Deskri. If I let Rasiel come back, he'll ruin everything..." he paused, like he was about to say something insulting about Rasiel, but refrained. He sighed, making sure to make her feel comfortable while holding her. "If we can, we should think of some ideas to get them apart... but for now, you should try to relax.." he offered, and began to think of ideas himself to separate their bodies.

Sonnet only nodded at first. She was too distressed to think about that right now. She half wondered if Obscurite was just being so comforting to snap her neck when she wasn't ready for it. No. Even in a state of now semi-panic, she was observant. She reminded him of this Lucia person, and honestly she was curious about it, but she decided against asking right now. He was busy thinking on how to fix this awful mess.
Her sadness turned to annoyance at the whole thing, though she was still frightened...When Deskri got a little more coherent and a little less Kagyaku possessed she was going to have to backhand him for jumping to such a conclusion. He should have known better, even with Kagy pressing his buttons.
"Would Rasiel's mother know? Or his Aunt? They're the scientists that technically made our race..." Sonnet mused out loud.

"I don't know Rasiel's mother very well. But from what I've heard from Rasiel himself.. She seems like the kind of person that would know.." he answered, releasing his hug on Sonnet, and looking at her with a smile. "Should we go to ask her then?" he offered, extending a hand to bring her along if she agreed to find Kae.

"What else can we do? Unless you know how to remove souls and place them in new bodies...she's the only person we can ask for help right now..." she said with a sigh, taking his hand. "This needs to be stopped as soon as possible..."

"Agreed." he commented, and then placed a hand on his head for a moment. Shaking his head a little, he regained his composure. "We don't have much time left... Rasiel's trying to push back.." he informed her, and then grabbed her hand and made his way toward the door. "Where is his mother usually?" he asked, trying to hurry with getting there before he lost control to Rasiel. Obscurite was in fact stronger than Rasiel by far, but being apart of his mind made him weak somehow, so that the longer he was out, the more energy he had depleted. Soon, he'd have to give up his control on Rasiel and rest before trying to take over again. He knew that if he didn't hurry, then Rasiel would take back over, and in the time it took Obscurite to rest, Rasiel would end up screwing up everything.

[Double post.. hurr]
Alice banged on the door of Sonnet's dorm room. "S-sonnet!!" she called out, looking back down the hall to make sure that Deskri/Kagy wasn't following her. She was desperate to get away, it was not like she was scared for her life or anything, she was just really freaked out. She had never experienced being so close to one of the bad things before recently. It was really hard to take in and she was now realizing the terrible danger in the existence of the bad things.

Kagyaku entered the room only a few seconds later, a manic grin was plastered over his face. "I found you! I think it's high time we finished what we started at the lake!" He charged in, summoning his manipulated shadow once more. "Get out of the way if you don't want to get hurt!" The shadow charged toward Alice.

Sonnet, not thinking, stepped between Alice and the shadow. She started it, she was going to end it.
The shadow struck true, tearing into her flesh. Blood began to ooze out of multiple wounds...but it wasn't blood for long.
The dark red liquid became darker and darker, and the darker it got the more it hurt. Sonnet screamed both in pain and in fear because she didn't know what was going on.
The liquid, now pure black, creeped along her body instead of dripping to the floor. It spread slowly, and Sonnet couldn't make any sound anymore, she just stood there, shaking in fear. Why was this happening to her.
Then, her whole body was covered with the stuff, and the shaking stopped.
"Kagy, my sweet Kagy. You make a very bad mistake." The voice wasn't Sonnet's. It, though acting warm, was cold and chilling. The liquid began receding. It LOOKED sorta like Sonnet, only monochrome, with bright green eyes.
"And to think, I thought I could get through this without having to show up. Shows me what happens when I depend on other people...." she commented, looking nonchalant about the whole ordeal.

Alice had gasped and the shadow shot forth for her. This time, surely she'd end up dead. She looked up to see that the shadow had not hit her at all, no, Sonnet had gotten in the way. The second time Sonnet has saved her life. She watched in a panic as the black consumed her very body and suddenly... changed.
Obscurite had watched Alice run in hurriedly, as if running from someone. And indeed she was as not a second later, Deskri ran in. No, not Deskri. Kagyaku. Obscurite couldn't help but grimace, realizing that he was trying to get rid of Alice, just as he had asked. A blinding pain shot through his head once more. 'Er.. dammit, kid.. Cut it out!' he thought, closing his eyes tight. Had he not had his eyes closed, he would have been able to see what had happened next. He heard a scream. Sonnet. Opening his eyes, he gazed in horror at Sonnet getting hit with the shadowed blast. Obscurite growled. "What the ******** is wrong with you?!?! You're suppose to hurt Alice!! Not her!!!" he yelled, furious at the mishap as he saw it. He paused, watching Sonnet change, and become someone different. "...what the.." he muttered, struggling to keep in control as long as he could.
Alice noticed that Rasiel was someone else too, and her heart suddenly sank. She knew now, that she was the only one who was herself in this group of people. Alice fell back a bit, stumbling, and hitting her bottom to the floor. She was in utter shock at the situation, as she froze up and couldn't move, couldn't even speak.

"Ah, Sumi, it's a pleasure. But I'm afraid your pet made the mistake here. She stepped in the way, after all. My target is the black one." Kagyaku's red eyes turned to focus on Alice as a grin spread over his face again.
"Aw, did you fall for bird b***h? She stepped in the goddamn way, maybe if you were paying attention you'dve seen it!" Kagyaku hissed angrily, it wasn't his fault that Sonnet had stupidly stepped in front of his attack when he had clearly stated to get out of the way. "Now if you're both done blaming me for bird bitches move, I'm going to finish that one off." He pointed at Alice and prepared the shadow again.
