Penguwin That sucks that your friend can't spend the night and stuff anymore... crying
My mom found out my friend(s) were bi and she threatens me to stop hanging out with them. She is an ultra-homophobe and thinks gay is a disease.
One of my friends that is bi, gay, whatever happens to be my best friend. So it really sucks, we have to sneak hanging out... :[
Unlike old times... flashback: That really sucks!
Though you do look cute together ^^
I'm glad my dad is pretty all right about sexualities and well, he just ''wants me to be happy''

good god, i just came out to my crush...and suprisingly he's straight, but he was totally cool about it...but there's no possibility for a GSA in my school, i don't think there are enough gays at my school to do that and if so...well i could say that they wouldn't have the guts to come out and be themselves (considering i'm ******** sick of living a piss bloody lie of a life)...

At my school, just about everyone is Gay/bi just about all of my friends are. ( I'm straight ) But, I don't see how someone can judge someone else for being bi/gay. It isn't like someone who is gay picks on someone who is straight for dating the opisite sex. ( I spelled that wrong =/ ) So, yeah. I don't really know what PDA is though. But My school doesn't really care who someone kisses. Or hugs. If two people of the same or diffrent sex are kissing or hugging the teachers here will just walk past them. Or sometimes they'll tell them there gunna be late to class. But they don't really get on to the gay/bi people more or anything. So Yeah.

Well at my school there were these two girls that had kissed and they were almost suspended but since we have a zero tolerance rule, they weren't suspended but I do all the time see straight couples kiss and they get nothing done to them. I'm not jealous that they get to do it or anything like that, if anything I'm happy at least they get to display affection but i do realise that it is totally unfair for people to discrimnate. We shouldn't get angry at those who are allowed to do it. Personally I do believe that people should not be kissing in public places such as school seeing as it is an inappropriate action. But hey, at least someone gets to love one another, and I think that's all it is about. Being able to display the 'right' type of love. I think anyway is the right way but whatever.

I don't want to jump in and seem horribly rude but, You have to understand that you are potentially in a loose loose situation. Granted dating at the age of 17 and under seems like a pretty silly concept to me. If you want to remain safe I would advise just not dispalying any forms of public affection. Yes yes it's unfair, and yes straight people get to have al the fun, but you have to realise that incidents like this can affect your future from being pulled from highschool or getting into fights with your family and so on and so on. Both your highschool and your family are kkeys to helping you get on your feet once you graduate, be it colege or a job. Trust me Play it safe and be smart, AND if you highschool sweet heart doesn't agree after you tell them this then you have to realise theat they aren't even considering your best interest, or even theirs for the matter. Please be smart and take it easy, if you want things like this to change then your going to need to go further than highschool to be able to do it.

When I was kissing my boyfriend, they tried to throw me out of school, I refused to move and ended up getting suspended, I told them if they were to tell my parents why truthfully, Id sue the school and just stop trying to learn, nothing ever happened, but I wish my sexuality was accepted, they have no problem with straights ><

No, the schools can't "out" someone. They have to report abuse, threats to others ans self, but everything else is only released with your permission.

I was all weird about people knowing that I am bi and everything because I didn't want it to get back to my mom. she is cool wiht that kinda stuff, but I just don't think I could tell her. Well, at least not while I'm living with her. I mean even though she says she'd be cool with it if my brother or I were bi or gay I know she'd still get really stressed about it and everything.
We fight enough as it is and she is always stressed out, so I just don't wanna push the issue right now..
But a lot of people do know about me, and surprisingly all of those people are cool with it. The only weird part for me, is that a few of my friends are different too, and they had asked me out and stuff.. I just don't like them like that, and even if I did, i wouldn't wanna ruin the relationships I have with them now.. domokun

Well somthing of that sort happend to me and my ex ... we were at school and we were holding hands and the security guard sent us up to the office, well the dean called my parents and the school officer called us faggets ..... we tried to do something about it but ... he's a cop so there isnt much you can do, so he got away with discrimination and we couldnt even get away with holding hands.

[.c**t Commander.] I think telling your parents can be the hardest. I know people who are grown and parents still don't know. I plan to wait til I move out so I they don't put me in counseling. Anyways... Okay so one day at lunch my friends and I were in the quad. My friend ,Jasmine, wasn't feeling to good so she was laying down on her girlfriend ,Melanie, lap. They weren't doing anything. But the counselor tells the dean and principle then sent to the office are sent to the office. Yes, it's against our schools rules to show PDA(public displays of affection) but c'mon. Anyways, they have my friend write a statement, and talk to the dean and principle. A few days later they ended up calling their parents. Neither of their parents lnew of their sexual preference. The teacher that sponsors our GSA at our school said he'd do all he could. Mel's parent's threatened to take her out of the school. We're still not sure if they will. The thing that unfair. Is that just moments after they sent my friends to the office. A girl is sitting on a guys lap, and the counselor just says to get up, nothing more. Later we read in the newspaper about something similar happening in another school. My school is kind of over protective and all. But the could have just said they did PDA but didn't have to say with who. And all this for laying her head down. Is this just my highschool? Have you heard of anything happening at yours? Should your school have the right to tell your parents of your sexuality? It's suppose to be our choice,...right? I haven't told my parents for a reason. What are your thoughts?
YOUR SCHOOL SUCKS! Schools LEGALY CANNOT DO THAT!

My school would not care, but maybe the girls inside it when it comes to yuri and boys when it comes to yaoi. =P I have asked around a bit, not telling all I'm bi, untill I know how they think about it. I goes in a school where we are around 200 persons maybe.. I don't think so many should care.. Nope they would not. They would think it's discusting, but the school can't do anything about it. =)
And my parents.. First there was, an friend, then my sis, then My "best" friend, then my Father and mother =) They where pretty early knowing that I'm bisexuall, and they have not cared, dad was a bit chocked, but his beaviour have not change. And my mom had even been thinking if I was bisexuall. sweatdrop
