purplewiz I like what's there so far. My feedback: - The section on Booty Grab ought to point to the in depth Booty Grab guide once it exists (since it can't until it does). I'm not sure what you mean by "leave a Booty Grab window open" - it sounds like you're advocating opening a game and not moving the avatar to catch gold while you're doing something else? - Also to be added in Maximizing Your Funds: Stop Buying Random Stuff. I see so many people say they want to invest/hoard but spend all their gold on crap. You can do that later after you've accumulated a nest egg to start with. - On the Personalized Investments: I like the discussion of risk. It could be expanded on some about how to figure out your own personal level of risk tolerance (like does the thought of having an item keep you awake at night). - Typo under Long Term Investments: your pros mentions "short term investments". Are you also planning to go into liquid assets vs. investments? ETA: Store items vs. investment items needs to be in there somewhere I really appreciate this-- I know you posted it a while back but I've been too busy trying to actually finish the rough draft version. I'll be sure to incorporate these suggestions when I have more energy tomorrow ^_^ Thank you very much. To everyone else so far, thanks-- I'm hoping this thread clears up a lot of questions people have had about hoarding/buying/selling etc. Bulletz, I put an excerpt of your quote in the testimonials section if you don't mind.

I love this post, because... well... it took me 3 years to become rich, and to find out this stuff.
I think newbies will prosper from this guide, although I think you might want to be more specific on how to spot good investments and what kind of investment it is...
But more should be added, I think it's great so far! ninja

Quote: Selling in the Exchange The exchange can be a great place to sell off your hoards-- ESPECIALLY if you have large and popular hoards. Benefits of Selling through the MP:<>-You can usually find people who will buy in bulk at a set price thus making it easier to get rid of your entire stock. -It's a lot more personal than dumping items in the MP. -You can negotiate for higher prices than LMP if you have a superb hoard. Cons of Selling in the Exchange:-Have to deal with low-ball offers (offers that are significantly lower than the market-value) -Usually takes longer to find a buyer. -Have to deal with people Aspects of the MP<> you should be wary of:-Sometimes people will not put the correct amount of gold in a trade in order to deceive you. dont like to make big quotes but yah...

If I remember correctly, I didn't see much about EIs in there. But other than that, great job so far!

I'm not sure if someone else already pointed this out but when you were talking about BUYING from the exchange you wrote 'selling' by mistake. Thus you have two 'Selling in the exchange' titles.
And wow Kitty this guide is so big and you put so much work into it! I'm so impressed O_O! It's going to take me a long time to get through it though xp
And I'm very picky about syntax and diction but overall, from what I've read, you're sentences seem fine 3nodding And anyone who tries to re-word everything for you is just annoying me stressed *cough*

Thank you so much for this amazing guide! I just had to read every post! ^^ I had actually never thought about hoarding until I saw your shop in the MP, and joined the guild. It's only been a few weeks and I've had a lot of success and I feel very solid in my investments because of the guidance.
I don't know if anybody has posted a suggestion on Evolving Items. I think it would behoove all of us if there were a post about the advantages to investing in certain EI's, maybe a little guide on what to look for when investing. lol it's just a silly little suggestion, but an idea nonetheless. ^^
