"At ease? Hm.." she had been keeping her gaze lowered, but now brought her azure stare to meet his. Loki jested a lot, this she was quite used to now. Still, she sometimes thought she caught a glint of seriousness, maybe something forlorn in his eyes. His eyes were the color of fires, but even a fire may burn dimly, before it knows it's a fire and not ash.

She had flustered at being called beautiful - a word she was unaccustomed to. It was strange to feel the hot bristle of a girlish blush on her cheeks after so long. She faltered her movement for a moment, before realizing and picking back up. His hands were keeping her at such a strange, close proximity, very unusual to her, and she was sure they'd have toppled if she just stood around, flustering.

"Do you remember anything more of yourself, Loki?"

So new and different, so alive, and he now talked so much more, not afraid of his own voice anymore maybe. Yet still, kliment was kliment..still a touch of overshadowed sadness clinging to his spirit, a slightly morbid touch that hovered about his presence. Still very much daskri's same dear friend.

"I think it's beautiful though, a tad dark maybe, but beautiful like any other art form would be, haha maybe even more so because its from you. I don't remember you being so creative before." Daskri's smile softening, kliment had always been such a loner type, at least now he'd found some form of a hobbie, something to keep his mind occupied, maybe even to give himself a bit of entertainment.

"Me mnn, I-I did not have much chance to paint. Really just my own voice and thoughts. Its silly you know, I didn't realize how much I missed it until I stopped doing it. It almost makes me want to run back to the lake and start make rock bugs like I used to. Simple, elegant, and fun.." well wasn't he full of nostalgia, bah and probably only ruining the mood!

Desireable to whom bahtier wondered with a raised eyebrow and a curiously awed expression. "Ahn..I..do not desire you, not that your not a very pretty fluff! Yes, yes indeed you are, your just not my erm..wha..type?" he shrugged with a small lopsided grin. Really he hadnt meant to offend, he was just curious and all, and it was very rude to ask ones gender if you questioned it. "I was just curious, purely purely curious, yes..no harm done right" his smile brightening as the trio listed off their names..trio..three voices..three personality's..three of everything!!

"Ro-ale-est..It's nice to meet you all, and your rider friend, haha. I'm Bahtier, A great evil being! Or am I a b*****d? I'm never entirely sure, though my father insists I'm the later" the spirit kind snickered, watching the great beast's tail wag and sweep up bits of dust. Such a big big dog.

"Your lucky you know my dear fuzzy, the three of you always being together, it must make for some wonderful times. I've always wanted siblings you know"
he nodded thoughtfully, yes the lucky trio having all of each other all the time, had to surely be fun!

"Hm. Why am I here.. I suppose you could say that I'm avoiding my comrades for awhile?" Noctis said sheepishly but without regret. "I'm not quite ready to get back with them. One of them might murder me on sight if I go back now." He told Ishka, holding out a hang towards her.

"Perhaps you would like to wander the food stalls with me? I can't let a girl eat and go without a drink." He llifted his own empty drink to show that he too needed a drink, or at least, a refill.

"Although I'll have to warn you, if a village girl catches my eye, you'll probably have to drag me away before I make a fool out of myself in front of you." Noctis chuckled, most of their food trays were empty for the moment.

Ishka stood up, grabbing Noctis' outreached hand and tugging him back up into a vertical position. "Tut-tut, I really doubt any of the girls here would be interested in a frumpy gunman, really!" she jested, a slightly cocky smile on her face.

She accompanied him to a near-by tea and alcohol vendor, gesturing towards the tea for herself. "You're a funny man, to me," she began, pausing to take a slow sip of her warm drink. "For a man of leisure, who seems to want to live life to the fullest, you don't take advantage of the life around you, what it offers you. What is it you want to do now?"

She set her cup on the bar, motioning the vendor to get Noctis a drink as well, and pushed a few coins towards him. Her gaze fell back on Noctis, studying him, the softness of her eyes somehow giving the feeling of penetrative, piercing needles as she read him. She poked her index finger gently onto his forehead. "What's going on in here, exactly?" She had a soft smile on her face, nothing sarcastic - thoughtful, if anything.

"You would be surprised at how many girls love a dangerous guy. Frumpy gunman or not." Noctis grinned, following Ishka through the crowd. He pondered her question as he waited for his drink. Thankfully, the man gave him some alcohol because Noctis didn't drink tea. Tea was for ladies. If a man drank tea, Noctis deemed him not a man. Mentally, anyways.

"Hm. I wonder why?" Noctis finally settled on the vague reply, allowing the other to pay for him. (He would pay her back later, okay.) He took her hand, the one that so rudely interrupted his personal space so easily, pressing a light kiss against it before letting it go slowly.

"That's for me to know and for you to remain ignorant. Unless you want to become a conquest in a inn's bed tonight and then you'll find out exactly how my mind works.Of course, there's little chance in that." He said huskily, taking another sip of alcohol with a knowing grin. It seemed that he would not let go of his playboy bravado-- or was it real? Or an act? Or both?

Ishka flustered, her soft features suddenly erupting into a bout of rage. The hand was drawn back, and let fly - SLAP! Right across his cheek, leaving a throbbing red where it had struck. "H-how DARE you suggest such a thing!"

Her face was red with anger and embarrassment - but mostly anger. All the things that girl had told her...about him, about Noctis.... "He's a little rough around the edges, but he's kind... I feel protected when I am near him...like none of this is happening, you know? Like I can be happy, that way. I like when he pulls me away from other people, because ...I feel as if I don't belong, but when he does that, I feel like..I could belong..to him, maybe...just maybe, ehehe."

All those things, and this was the vulgarity of a man she felt that way for? Ishka pitied the poor creature of a girl. "A..awful.." ishka mumbled in a low, incoherent tone.

She took a breath, before turning her eyes back to him. She seemed rigid now, the usual charm and softness of her face turned to a chilled gaze.

"W..why..why do you act in such a way? Do you really want to be the one who has everything, but nothing at all?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 07, 2010 12:13 pm

"Whoa, princess, that's quite a slap!" Noctis chuckled, leaving no doubt that he had been put in this situation before. He chuckled, surprising Ishka with his unoffended reaction.

"Hm. I'd say I'm already in that position. Do you expect me to be different? Do I look like I have anything to hold onto? Please don't say Haveni because she's million of miles away by now. I'm just a heartbroken playboy who's been left by a really nice girl and indulging myself to make up for it." Noctis said with a distant gaze, memories repressed.

"Or something like that." He said cheerfully, downing the rest of his drink. "Awful's a pretty nice word to hem it up. C'mon, you didn't really think I was the good guy, didn't you? I was the guy who joined the group, planning to use Haveni for evil purposes. Do I have to spell out evil for you?" He waved for a walking salesman to bring over a plate of food, handing the other several coins.

Fried treats were delicious.

"For all you know, I could be evil too, or a five-headed, man-eating beast who is wearing a womansuit!" Ishka swiped Noctis' alcohol, downing the rest of it without his permission.

This type of guy..jeez. I guess I should say it, it'll turn into a Shakespearean drama either way.

Ishka shook her head, and sighed. "She knew what she was getting into. But oh, she loved you guys. Really, she did. And one of you garnered more love than the others-" she cast her eyes toward him only slightly, keeping his gaze. She reached to her hair, scrunching it up at the top to make it resemble haveni's twin-tails, and repeated the phrase she had remembered to herself only moments ago.

She even imitated Haveni's soft yet shyly awkward laugh, before dropping her hair back in its place.

Ishka perched her chin in her palm, leaningon her elbow on the table. "Do you still think she left you after hearing that? And do you think you have nothing? Why come back to the very village you found her in, if not to hope to see her returned here?"

Her words may have been hurting him. She didn't care. That girl was probably going to die, anyways. Better Ishka say what Haveni never would have, less it be forever unheard.

Etoile entered the festival, but she seemed very lost, at hand. She was just wandering, as she would have normally done. seeing other Constellations enjoying themselves put her more into misery. She had not seen her Boyfriend Shui in ages. Her heart ached at being so alone at a happy gathering...

Taking a seat down in a random area near the edge of the festival, she thought to herself. Hands under her chin,
"I am probably going to be ignored here. I always seem to be, even though I try to be social. Maybe I am just not a very... sociable person. Or maybe I'm boring?" Etoile sighed, her lavender eyes darker than usual.

"Remember...?" He trailed off, staring at her quizzically for a few seconds. His eyes widening, he blinked and - for a split second - looked as if he were caught off guard, the look quickly shifting to a sheepish one. He turned his head to the side, and became solemn.

"Oh. You mean... about who I am. Or was. It wouldn't be fair to assume I'm still the same person I used to be." His eyes closed briefly, mouth set in a frown as he recalled things he'd read about, things that had supposedly happened, but that he couldn't remember. It was like reading his diary after he'd lost his memory; how was he supposed to be certain any of it had happened? What was truth? What was a lie?

He hadn't realized he'd stopped, although he still kept his grip on Eisha's waist and hand. After a few beats, Loki angled his head back toward his dancing partner, eyes half-moons. "Sometimes, when I read something, I feel as if I've done it or heard of it before. Other times, I have to ask myself, 'Did this really happen? Was that me, or someone else with my name?' The memories I've had between now and when we first met have been few and far in-between. It seems... the longer it takes me to find them, the harder they are to grasp." He shrugged, suddenly looking a bit irritable at himself. "I suppose Loki really was the fool - I can't even figure out who the hell I'm supposed to be, and yet, here I am. I'm living, breathing. It shouldn't be this confusing."

------------------------------------------------

He looked a bit flustered from his friend's remarks; Kliment had never been good at taking compliments of any sort, yet, he never seemed to have trouble dishing them out. Perhaps a lack of confidence in oneself, although he never was one to dwell on such things.

Upon hearing of Daskri's lack of painting, he frowned, looked disappointed. "You... haven't been painting?" he asked slowly, leaning toward Daskri. His yellow eyes searched Daskri's - the color was so nice, he'd always thought, like the sea - as if looking for a sign that he was only jesting. "Daskri Mal, I don't like it."

Looking about equally unimpressed and saddened, Kliment held a hand out, idly tracing one of the glowing markings on his friend's face. "I always admired your paintings. I could never do that, something that required such a swift and delicate touch. Anyone can work with string, if they really try, but painting takes so much time and skill, and... understanding. I don't like that you feel you haven't had the time to paint."

Working his jaw, Kliment stepped back, crossed his arms loosely over his chest. Maybe he was being selfish. If Daskri didn't feel like painting, then that was his choice. It wasn't as if he painted for him, anyway, so what was he missing out on? No, he was upset because he had just heard that the limitless potential of his friend was being locked away, untouched. It was disheartening, to say the least.

Sucking in a breath, he closed his eyes, opening them again to look into Daskri's. "I'm sorry. Saying that was selfish of me. It's your choice if you want to do something else, I... was just a little sad to hear it." He closed his mouth. That was quite enough out of him; not that he felt he could embarrass himself any further.

Lenore of the dark light spent most of her year wandering around the deepest areas of the forest and the outskirts of the land, so when she came upon what appeared to be a festival, she hardly knew what to make of it. Leading the lost back to their trails in the depths of night and keeping watch over those corrupt by darkness, her hobby took up much of her time from solstice to solstice. Perhaps it was destiny that led her to the path of the festival that night, for the first break from wandering alone after much time.

"A festival no doubt, but what for? Hmmm." Thinking out loud to herself, the dark tinted woman hovered around the edges of the festival with the forest at her back. Even so, it would have been impossible to blend completely with the backdrop, with the candles resting upon her horns casting an eerie glow with the lantern hanging from her hair. Finally her pride could no longer stand merely peering in at the festivities and not joining, so she broke from the darkness of the forest and wandered forward.

Her feet were barefoot and silent against the stone pathway, but her anklets chimed merrily as she went under the archway of lanterns and flowers that indicated the entrance of the pathway she took. As she was stepped forward to follow the cheerful music and the delicious smell of food though, she noticed from the corner of her eye a figure sitting alone. Pausing, the smell of delicious food beckoned to her to greedily indulge, but she knew she couldn't stand leaving someone sitting out there alone. It went against all she worked for and believed in.

The petite, obsidian woman with lavender hair approached the fair woman sitting by self, casting a soft glow of violet light around her and dominantly around her head. "Why sit out here when you can be enjoying the festival with the others?" Lenore inquired, hoping she hadn't startled the woman too badly by sneaking up on her. As she sat down next to the woman, her smile was confident and friendly with hints of mischief. "Someone as beautiful as yourself shouldn't have to sit in the dark alone, but I suppose you have your own reasons. My name's Lenore. May I ask what yours is?" The constellation introduced herself with a smile as she peered at Etoile with eyes that seemed to illuminate with their own light. Lenore held out her hand for Etoile's, her palm up to take the other constellations.

Eisha tipped her head, causing dark bangs to curtain her eyes. The sound of the depths was all she could hear for a moment, as Loki's words made her think back. Not into the murk...

"Say, Loki...Did you know that I died?" There was a sad smile on her face, and she would not look at him. It was the first time she ever told anyone the truth about herself..not that it was simple for herself to accept either, but she nodded, verifying what she said. "I was killed because I tried to stop a ritual murder..of my friend. I was chained to rocks, and thrown into the lake, way out there in the Weeping Village." she motioned subtly to the west.

Her gaze left the ground and looked upwards to his, her hands parting from his, to place her fingers on each of his cheeks. "But still, I am here, I exist and I am alive. In what form, I don't know, but I am here. How, I don't know, but I..am here. Just like you are here. You are who you want to be. What you were or who you are is not what defines you..it's what you do that defines you."

"K-kliment I.." Daskri stuttered for a moment, honestly lost on what to say. The fact that his friend was using his full name meant he was in trouble. Sheepishly the constellation let his gaze slip lower, wishing he could avoid the all to knowing, piercing gaze of his friends. Leave it to kliment to care eh..to his dear silent friend to point out the problems that seemed to plague daskri' down to hi soul.

It was impossible to avoid that golden gaze though, or to evade kliments worry with a slew of fancy words. It would have been easier to escape a swift jungle cat.. Really though, what was he supposed to say? "I'm sorry.." fidgeting slightly when kliment touched his face, so gentle and friendly.."If there was ever a person who could not work with string I imagine it might be me? Haha..ahh..I meant to you know, I've been meaning to-to paint something, anything really." he huffed in a forlorn tone, the last thing he'd wanted to do was disappoint his friend!

Tugging at his braid absently, staring back at kliment in confusion as he apologized. "You've nothing to be sorry for kliment. Honestly, it's nice to know, that at least you care. Hah, I doubt another soul would be sad if I stopped aside from you, but still making one person is better then none right?!" he chuckled, though the happyness sounded if anything forced, he hadn't known it would make him sad..couldn't have possibly imagined. If his painting could make someone happy though "I don't, you know I don't wish to do anything else. I'm not suited for anything else. I suppose I just needed to sort out my head, it's all sorted now though, for sure. If you'd like I could make you something, it might be just what I need you know, a bit of inspiration" he was sure he sounded stupid, but he truly did want to start painting again, it was after all his favorite thing.

Turning her head, Etoile was noticing the faint glow of what seemed like candles out on the edge of the woods, though she tried not to notice, her lavender eyes followed slowly under the shadow of her bangs.

Eventually she saw the candlelight make it's way into the festival, it was a woman; another Constellation. She had a dark glow about her, but she did not seem threatening from what Etoile could pick up. Again, etoile sighed and stared at the ground again, lost in her heartache and thought. until she felt someone take a seat by her and was speaking to her. Looking up into the eyes of a blue-lavender hue, it was the candlelight woman. She introduced herself as Lenore. she was quite a beautiful Constellation that Etoile could not look away.

"My name is Etoile, Lenore." her lavender-white hand slowly reaching out for the others obsidian colored one. Though, she was unsure if she should touch her. Etoile was a shy Twilif as a child, and has always been a bit even as she grew up. "I... don't have anyone to attend the Festival here with." Etoile's eyes lost their fancy sparkle and looked away to the grass, her mind heavy with the thought of her lost mate.
