If I do, you get 3,500 points of defensive damage, +8,250 damage from dokuganryu's damage buff, which adds up to 11,750 damage. God damnit. That was seriously the most that I could hope for. I take 11,500 damage - 700 protection which is 10,800 damage. Divide that by two and its 5,400. I also used a level 30 buffing skill that I have one affinity for so that's another 150 chakra. At this point it had stopped being something glamorous that he could brag about to his students. Instead it had become a fight for survival. This guy was strong and had a crazy number of items on him, and he was probably famous somewhere, so there was sure to be some glory in cutting out his throat, but it had stopped being about that. This was about the survival of his village now. It had really stopped being about him and his own pride a couple of moves ago when the man had threatened the people of his village. The shots from the strange sword gun tore into his body, causing him to wince slightly and bight back the pain. They still made the dull pings against the steel plated headbands that he used for armor under his black clothing, but those sounds, he knew, were not the armor protecting him from enough that it made any real difference. It was not the cursed object reaching out to steal away the life of the man he was fighting. It was his armor giving way under the heavy assault. It was him taking wounds and carrying them with pride for his village. He smirked softly at that, his fingers tightening around the handle of his blade as a dribble of blood slowly made it out of the corner of his mouth, " Well then, Old man? That the best you got?" He let out a weak chuckle, " Heh...you think that you are going to be able to just walk into my village and kill everyone, and you're only that strong?" He pushed himself up as straight as he could, " The children of the Sand village are under my care, and you're going to have to kill me before I let you lay a finger on my village." He coughed up a bit more blood, " And as long as I've got that on my mind, I wouldn't die even if you killed me."

Time to go with plan 2~ Watching the barrage of bullets fire out of the Horseman's nuzzle, each on after another clang and piercing the young boy with a deadly accuracy, Sai formulated his next few moves in his head and revised them. He had only equipped a small amount of weapons on him, the majority mainly being bladed weapons as he had truly came to this stupid desert in hopes for a match with Isato to sharpen his swordsmen skills. Granted his Caelestis was the only weapon that actually was just a sword, but the Horseman and Angel were also fit for the name of a sword had he been in a fight where he controlled his trigger happy fingers. On top of that he had his Razor, a semi-automatic (and automatic) powerful compact rail gun, a weapon that he made sure to always have with him... and of course his collection of emotion controlling syringes. Which for some reason... were lacking in the collection section as he found himself with only one of the four, and this particular one he had no intention or true want to use. The man hadn't come here to take anyone's life, that was far from his true intentions. But looking back on his words and actions, it was pretty obvious he had made it seem otherwise, possibly for some internal craving for conflict and battle. However the feeling had now passed and the idea of slaying the child before him was by far not what he wanted to do. The escalation of intensity in the battle was increasing and with that strange sword that the child had it was more then likely going to be dragged out to more serious injury. With a heavy sigh as his clip for the horseman ran clean and Kenta began to recover himself, Sai quickly dashed foreword, keeping his grip tight around his blade's handle. Lurching his body to the side so to force himself into a running spin, he brought the thick edge of the horseman to the sand and ripped the large weapon through it causing a wave of sand to raise up and swim towards the boy, blocking view of Sai temporarily. Similar to how he had opened up the battle the first time with this trick, Sai's hand was already to his capsule scrolls, bringing his trusty Razor to his free hand. However this time he whipped the horseman around his body until it was directly aligned with his spine, and with powerful lunge swung the entire weapon, with only his one arm, over his body before releasing the hilt and along it soar foreword. With in no time it would pierce through the wave of sand, before it would get chance to meet Kenta, and strike out like a javelin that would more then likely be very easy to block, counter or even flat out dodge. The weapon's purpose was to distract as Sai would be moving along the side of Kenta that had the Blade of the Dokuganryu. With one eye closed and the gun acutely aimed at the blade, he would wait for the optimum moment during Kenta's reaction and shoot the blade out of his hand before continuing to follow up. "Is... that so..." Sai whispered softly to himself, the distance so far that Kenta would have never heard him under normal circumstances. For a moment he allowed himself to stare into his opponent's eyes as he swallowed a hard gulp, the memory of when he was a kage himself so many years ago... before the war happened. Those were wonderful days, and he had always put his life on the line to protect those that followed him. But that had changed, it all had changed over the years and it was no longer any concern to him. Gritting his teeth he turned his sight to the weapon that seemed as though it was living as it moved and changed its form. Nodding slightly to himself, he dashed foreword towards the attack giving himself one last powerful bound before spinning in the air. Keeping his grip on his gun firm, he aimed at the ground behind him and shot off a quick round, using the recoil to thrust him a little quicker to his destination. With his body almost parallel with the ground and his chest exposed to the world above, Sai watched the scythe come down to chop him in half, his free hand stretched out towards the Horseman that stood ready in the sand for his hand. It all came down to if he could make it in time to his sword to deflect the attack or would be made into a shikab. It seemed that he thought that getting close would keep him safe from his attack, but he wasn't going to let that sort of thing go on. Getting close wasn't always the best choice though, the weapon took on it's electric quality, and took on the curse of his grim token, and then it shot out spines, trying to tear him down, but it hadn't really seemed to work. He winced slightly as he felt the power of his technique wear him down, gritting his teeth. He was going to cut this man down. He couldn't let him hurt the people of his village. He couldn't afford to let them down.

It was surprising, maybe he was getting old, or possibly the newer generation wasn't as bad as he thought. They certainly had more passion then the previous generation, or rather passion for their home. Even as the man struggled with holding the scythe back from cutting him down, a smirk played against his features in a taunting manner. Oh how familiar an event it was for shinobis to jump from own country to the next, pledging their loyalty and allegiance only to betray them a few months later and do it all again. It was a comforting sight to see that this generation was more loyal. But... that didn't mean he would allow anyone to cut him down so easily. Holding the horseman steadily in one hand to keep the scythe at bay, the muscles in his forearm feeling ready to rip from the coupled weight and control. Taking in a sharp breath he forced himself to push the blade up higher, his other arm swinging around to aim the Razor at the scythe's base. With an aimed shot, Sai forced the scythe to blow back and relieve himself of the weight it had pressed against him for the moment. Dropping the horseman to the side of him with a heavy thump, Sai's hand quickly reached to his side as he rolled to a short crouch. With a quick lunge foreword he whipped his hand from his side, a pink handle now in his hand as a silver and gold capped blade stretched out from him and swung to cut against the boy's skin. If the child was unfortunate enough to get cut by the sword, the battle would be over as the poison that was soaked on it's edges would not only paralyze him but eliminate him from fighting back ever again. Sai raised an eyebrow at the young Kazekage in a curious fashion, a playful smirk dancing onto his lips as he did. "Is that so?" He questioned in a sarcastic tone as he turned away from the boy so to retrieve his gun blade that had been discarded earlier in his attack. With a loud yawn he bent over and hefted the large blade onto his shoulder before returning it, along with his Caelestis back into their respective scrolls. His Razor however still present in his hand. Turning back to look at the boy, the man sighed and shook his head. "Now.. Do explain to me how do you plan to stop me if your paralyzed?" He said more then asked as he approached again and began to walk around the kid in a slow and deliberate motion before once again stopping and raising the gun's barrel to point at the child's unprotected forehead. "I could kill you right now and fulfill the requirements of your statement... Or I could even just leave you here and destroy the village without you ever being able to stop me... And you would never be able to stop me." The man said, his tone darkening as brought his face a bit closer and scowled at the boy as though to dare him to try and argue his words. "I beat you once, you said I was cheap because I acted like a shinobi and fought tactically. I bit the bait and thought you head on, albeit with a trick or two, but head on and yet again we have found ourselves in the same situation... You can not move and you can not fight."Holding the gun to the boy's forehead a moment longer, raising it up slightly as though he was about to fire it and end his life, Sai swiftly brought it back to his side and moved a few steps away. "Your muscles have undergone rapid freezing and melting, along with being poisoned and battered, shot, and cut multiple times. If you force yourself anymore you'll find yourself unable to ever preform taijutsu again... You can't protect anyone if you can't protect yourself, and you damn wont be any good to anyone if you can't do anything at all. So be sure to get proper medical attention and good amount of rest, otherwise your muscles will fail you in the future." The man said simply, a kind tone playing in his voice. With another sigh he returned to the boy and with one hand gripping the back of his head and the other bringing a vial to his lips , he roughly forced it's contents down the boy's throat. "That's a antidote for the poison. Not very tasty, or pleasant for that matter but you should have full use of your muscles in roughly thirty minutes. Maybe even twenty if your body is strong enough~"Turning away and walking in the opposite direction, he threw his hand up to give a bored backwards good bye wave. "By the way, I never had any intention of killing anyone today. I just have a strange taste of humor~ If you happen to run into that b*****d Isato, let him know the 'F.P.B.' is looking for him. If that p***k can still remember the days when we were team mates, he'll know whose calling for him." And with those words the man faded out of sight. About an hour later Kenta had quite the frown on his face. It was strange actually that he would look so angry when he had managed to get out of such an intense fight with his life, but it hadn't gone the way that he had wanted it to, and he was sure that it would have gone much better had he been serious about the entire battle from the beginning. He looked at his hand, curling his fingers and then letting them uncurl and looking at his hand as the blond woman in the dark clothes leaned over his chair applying healing jutsu to the parts of his body that had taken the most brutal of beatings. So far they hadn't actually talked about what had gone on. He had come back beaten and bruised and had requested a quick healing session, and the blond woman, having spent enough time with him to know when he was in no mood to talk about what was going on, decided simply to leave it at the fact that he had come back and appeared to be in a single piece.
Really, the wounds were pretty serious. It wasn't like Kenta to come back with these kinds of serious wounds. The people he usually fought weren't all that strong, and he usually spent his time playing with them and performing needlessly flashy techniques that were unbecoming of a shinobi. In the end while he usually came back with scratches and bruises he also came back with a smile on his face that could have stretched a mile wide and then bragged about how the other guy looked so much worse. He'd usually be talking about how he had beaten up some monster, or how he had looked so awesome while he had been on the center of the stage. The only time he had come back and didn't have anything to say was when he had gone out and nothing happened, and with these wounds, it was obvious that something had happened. Something rather serious had happened, and the fact that he wasn't talking about it meant that the person who it had happened with had walked away and wasn't going to need to sit there with a medic to treat them like she did.
That being said, she knew so much better than to ask what had happened. He had gotten beat up, and he didn't want to talk about it. Anyone who he had felt the need to fight with until he had gotten this beaten up he had been fighting for something more than just a place in the spotlight, so what had he been fighting for? That was an interesting question. The kind of question that she knew that she should probably investigate, but the kind she knew that she wouldn't get a straight answer from no matter how long she waited before she asked it. No matter when she asked his answer would always be 'no reason in particular'. While he always had a reason for fighting with someone he always acted like there wasn't a reason, like he had just done it for the fun of it. Sometimes the fights that he had were against people who he thought were strong so that he could train himself to get stronger, but if he had found someone who was strong enough to do all of this to him...then he had stepped in deeper than he was ready to wade in.
She took a long breath as they continued to sit there in a deafening silence. She really wasn't going to be able to stand them not talking for much longer. It was strange to see the usually chatty kazekage rendered silent by thought. It was rare to see him think about much, but even more rare to see him so consumed by a topic that he was unable to speak, and unable to avert his eyes from the space before him, the empty space. She wanted to ask him what had his mind so occupied, but didn't want to tear him from it if it turned out to be something important.
"Some old geezer calling himself 'F.P.B.' was looking for old man one-eye." He continued to stare forward, but it was obvious now that he was talking to the dark clothed woman who was treating his wounds, "Anything about that sound familiar?"
Akane really didn't care much for the nick-name that Kenta had adopted for Isato. She knew that both of them were good ninjas, no matter what Isato had done in his past, or the experiments that he had done to find the secret to his technique to stop life. She even knew that one of Isato's greatest enemies had turned out to be a long lost brother who had the same strange power to not age physically. She knew that even though Isato had left the village he deserved more than to be called 'old man one-eye', but she also knew that she had been left under Kenta's charge, "I don't know. Isato's pretty old. Could be someone that he fought before he even became Kage."
Kenta let out a soft sigh and then opened the desk drawer, fishing around in it for a moment before pulling out the bits and pieces that he was going to need, things like the old ring that had been passed down to him, and some simple ninja weapons. He knew that the old geezer had said that he wasn't going to kill anyone, but he had openly made threats against the village. It was a possibility that he was going to come here and that he was going to have to cut the man down before he could cause any real damage. At the same time though, he didn't want to have the village up in arms over a single man who may or may not have even still been in wind.

It was not long before Osis was skipping her way out of the academy carrying a fair sized package of goods for her graduation once out of the school and to a place that she often hung out she cracked open the package and looked inside, a good little supply of kunai and shuriken along with some smoke bombs as well. She plucked out these items and under them was a nice little pouch to carry them in, she strapped it to her thigh and dropped the throwing items inside the separate compartments, underneath all of that was a medikit as well. She put the medikit in place on her belt. She jumped up and down in excitement over her received items. However after awhile she took note of something flitting through the air, and the excitement over her new belongings was lost to chasing an interesting beetle as it buzzed by her. It was an interestingly large beetle "WOW big bug!" she chimes out loudly before chasing after it. "Come back here you!" she states with a grin as she raced about after the beetle, she knew there was something she was supposed to be doing, but at the moment she had lost track of what that was, she normally had a better attention span but the amount of excitement that she was experiencing currently shortened it by quite a bit. After a fair bit more chasing she got tired of trying to catch such an elusive bug, or maybe she was having a change of ideas for approach. She paused for a moment her cheeks puffing out some before she took a deep breath through her nose and in a few more moments she condensed the chakra in her mouth creating a ball of 'hard water' which she than spat out like a bullet at the bug. The ball went 'THWACK' against the insects hard abdominal chitin and it fell to the ground from stun. "WOOOH! Aims getting better every day." she chimes out brightly as she pounced on the bug and then proceeded to jump around with her trophy. She blinked a few times and what she was supposed to be doing came back to her. "Oooh... yea, guy with the neato boxes of goodies said I was supposed to go to the kage for like, team assignment or something along those lines." she states as she cocked her head to the side and propped her chin on her hand. She walked around in a small circle as she thought. Her circles became a bit tighter and faster until she was pretty much spinning around in circles, it occured to her, she had not visited the kages office herself. "...woah... where is his office?" she questions blinking her eyes curiously before racing over to the academy, it occurred to her that she could find out from the next person to exit the academy.

Fuyu finally filled out the paperwork which was needed to get his information for the genin process. With the reseptionist helping him it was much easier on his eyes. He quickly questioned where the Kage's office was and the reseptionist was a little shocked, but when he pointed to his eyes the reseptionist was brought back to the point that Fuyu was blind. She appologized and Fuyu just put his hand up letting her know that it was ok. "Alright" The reseptionist stated sweatly "What you need to do is follow this road down the all the way until you get to the blacksmith, then turn right. Go down that road until you get to the local cloth shop then take a left. Go down the you get to the office, the biggest building in the village. It's about five blocks from when you take the left." She smiled as Fuyu nodded and headed out the door. There was just one problem though, his eyes hurt too much to use them right now and his distance guessing while not using his eyes didn't help very much...

Oasis stood just outside the door stalking for an appropriate mark. However she soon found a perfect one, her new blind friend Fuyu. "FUYU!" she shouts launching out from her hiding place attempting to land on his back with her sneak attack. "Where is the kage's office at, cause like I'm not from here... Oh hey, I never told you where I am from. I'm not from this village itself I am from a smaller trade village that actually hasn't had an other ninjas, that I know about..." she states throwing out random information at the drop of the hat and without provocation, it also didn't help that she was tacking this onto the end of an unprovoked sneak pounce attack.

Kenta sighed softly before looking down at his desk. While the situation with the geezer with the purple hair was a very real potential problem, there were other things that he had to do because of the fact that he was Kazekage. Akane had been kind enough not to remind him of what he had to be doing, something that he was quite happy for since he hadn't really wanted another job until he was healed up, which was something that seemed to have been achieved thanks to her medical treatment. He sighed again before picking up a small pack of papers and looking over it for a moment.
Akane had spoke up when he had finally picked up the papers, "A team of academy students graduated." Her eyes hadn't actually ever left her work, as she was still doing the final touches on his treatment, "This group looks like it has some promise."
Kenta flipped through the pages for a moment before sighing softly and putting them down, his head turning slowly to look at the blond, "There are three of them...they'll still need an advisor."
Akane's eyes didn't move from where she was treating and she spoke up softly, "I'm aware." Her hands continued to move, pouring the chakra into Kenta's body, "That would be why they are coming to pay you a visit, because it is widely accepted that they'll all be on the same team." Her face hadn't change at all, but it was clear that she was smiling on the inside, "A medic, a tracker, and a combat specialist, it really does seem like a good team, who deserves good leadership."
Kenta narrowed his eyes slightly and looked back to the desk in front of you, "What you mean to say is that they look like they'd form a team worthy of Kage-level leadership."
Akane finally looked up, gasping in mock shock, "Kazekage-sama, are you suggesting that you have an interest in training this team of genin? That's wonderful. I'm sure you'll make a great advisor to shape their young minds."
Kenta narrowed his eyes dangerously as he stared forward. It was something that Akane had tried to convince him over and over again to do. Every time that there were graduates he'd end up with information on 'the perfect team' sitting on his desk. After that he'd get the story that they were full of potential and really needed some good leadership to achieve great things. In truth, Kenta had never lead genin in his entire life. He doubted that he'd do well at it, and as a result he had come up with a lot of very good excuses as to why he couldn't do it, but today he couldn't come up with any good excuses. Today he was just sitting behind his desk after having been beat up and looking at the makings of a team that someone wanted him to lead. He had just been beaten up rather soundly...what kind of image was he setting for them with that? He could just tell Akane that he wouldn't be a good leader. That was all he had to do.
He opened his mouth, about to speak, and then the blond sword user butted in with her own words, "Two of them are girls." She finally pulled her hands away from him, seeming to have finished with her treatment.
"Why would their genders even matter?" Kenta turned his eyes to look at the woman who had just treated him, "You're acting like I'm some kind of horn dog who'd flirt with anything female."
Akane smirked softly before straightening up, "Yeah, I suppose you'd probably be more interested in the fact that one of them is from the Kidomaru clan."
Kenta blinked and picked up the papers again, "With the extra arms? That's cool." While this conversation had not been exactly what Kenta had wanted to participate in today, it had given him something to think about that wasn't the purple haired grandpa. Perhaps training these hopefuls would be fun.
His eyes continued to roam the paper for a long moment before he turned his head slowly to look at Akane, "You realize I'm going to have to test them somehow. Make sure that they are awesome enough to have a Kage as their advisor." He smiled softly before looking back to the desk, "Especially a kage as lazy as me..." He smiled softly and turned his head back to Akane again, "Any ideas?"

With his eyes screwed shut in pain and his jaw clenched tightly to the point his muscles bulged against his skin, Sai held himself against the wall of a small bathroom. He was currently sitting on the edge of a bathtub, the sound of warm water pouring from it's mouth into the tub and filling up came from behind him as it tried it's best to compete with Sai's growls. In front of him on the seat of the toilet was a pack of medic gauze, a needle and a thread, all of which had the staining of blood... For the last hour or so, Sai had spent cleaning and attending to the gash against his abdomen that he had received earlier in the fight. He was no medic but after some twenty odd, closing in on thirty, years of being a shinobi and the coupled fact of being the adopted son of a fisherman, Sai had picked up a couple tricks during his life time. It also helped that his older brother was a very skilled medic as well and had also taught him a few of his practices over the years.... Sai shook his head quickly, the last thing he wanted to do was think of Sorain. He was probably furious with him for leaving the village without notice or explanation... And he didn't plan to come back either. It had been twelve years since the war ended and the council as well as the Dyaimo refused to answer his pleas and wishes to help reestablish and stabilize Sea Country. With each hearing the promised date was pushed back and a new requirement was given, one that was always harder then the last... And he had gotten tired of it. The country had rotted away despite his efforts, leaving it a barren island until some time ago a rich man bought it as a piece of property and made the once proud nation into a resort. Sighing softly, Sai turned his attention to his patchy work. It certainly wasn't beautiful but it would do for now. In the end it wouldn't matter as Isonade would eventually heal it til there was nothing but clean and smooth skin. Turning his head to look at the bathroom wall and the tub behind him he couldn't help but laugh and shake his head. The tub's water was tainted with his blood, the same blood that was smeared against the wall from when he had needed something to support himself. Whoever lived in the quaint apartment would be furious when they returned home. But that was no concern of his as he readied himself against the sink and pulled himself to a full stance. Striding slowly out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, he turned his eye to the bed where his possessions lay. Laid across the bed in specific order were various weapons and ammo. Pistols, sniper rifles, assault guns, cross bows, grenades, explosives of variant styles, strange swords; most of which had a form of gun attached to it and even one composed of strange looking gears running along it, wires, knives, and various over killing utensils. Each with their own specific ammo sets for them and of course random scrolls strewn around them, some open while others were still rolled up and sealed. Taking a few short steps towards the weapons, Sai let his craving fingers graze along them for a short moment before swiftly picking up one of them and loading it. Spinning around on his heel, he held the weapon at eye level with a steady position, the barrel focusing on a young woman, that he would assume to be the person that resided here, walked into the room chuckling until she spotted Sai there. Backing herself against the wall with her hands up and tears swelling in her eyes, she attempted to speak but failed. Instead she could only manage to form the words with her lips as Sai assumed it to be her way of saying 'Take what you want, just please don't kill me.' Chuckling softly to himself, he shook his head from onside to the other before holding the gun almost playfully in his one hand he twisted from side to side and bowed to her to show her he meant no harm. With a screech, she bolted out of the room. Continuing to chuckle playfully he shrugged and turned his sights onto the gun in his hand. It was one of his favorites, Razor. For it's stealth and power, it had become on of the man's favorite weapon choices for up close battles. Which in fact was the very reason why he had always had the weapon equipped, each time proving itself in battle. In fact if it wasn't for him having it equipped during the battle earlier on today, he might have walked away a lot more injured then a simple gash on his belly. However, it was now time to leave and he rather was pleased to be able to gather his things, get dressed, and begone from the apartment before the girl was capable of returning with authorities no more then four minutes later.
