Saiph's own eyebrows were threatening to vanish into her hairline as the two aliens vanished from sight. Well, wasn't that a convienient trick? Equally convienient for the one to lay all blame on her before poofing too. She was sure they weren't Negaverse, but they seemed to have a similar mindset to them. And with luck, her attack wouldn't have done too much damage to the pudgy guy since he hadn't been between it and a solid surface. A girl could hope anyway.
With a sigh she leapt down from the roof just in time to see what she could only assume was Mazke threatening a civilian boy. A boy armed with a chair. A chair. Still, at least he stood his ground, she had to give him props for that.
Moving quickly, she stooped and caught up a small rock in her hand before creeping in and tapping Metis on the shoulder.
"You might want to duck," she murmured before lobbing the rock at the back of Mazke's head. They had to distract it/him/whatever and get Mazke away from the civilians.

(GMing Cardian to keep thread rolling)
What? Feeling something bounce off of his head Mazke turned around, weak human flailing about with a chair forgotten. His cover was blown. Yet one ace was still up his sleeve. One that would deter the meddlesome senshi from interfering with his work. Using both hands, the monster dug into the part of his face where his mouth would have been.
And he pried it open.
Rows on rows of thin teeth formed the ghastly visage of a mouth, a mouth set to a from of a sadistic grin. That ought to keep those meddlesome girls away from him. As for the human...grabbing the chair from it's wild flail, the Cardian looked for the best spot on the human. So many meaty bits. Which to choose? His grip on the chair, his back was exposed to the two scouts.
(Next round, order is LP, then Fairy, then Kailey, Then back to Ryu)

Azzo blinked, at the distraction of the rock and looked around before having the Chair almost ripped away from his hands. That wasn't the problem though....
Azzo's eyes widened as rows of teeth appeared. Something that looked like two things , one oddly familiar, and two like a death trap. "OH......" He cut himself short for a second, he was trying to think. "...s**t." He finished quickly before starting to back up, a million things running through his mind at a mile a minute.
What do I do... This was not the time to be second guessing. Instead he kept a steady pace walking backwards, taking some sort of defensive boxing pose with the chair in his hands. Okay so he was a little crazy but if this thing was trained on him it wouldn't go after anyone else right? Right? Minimal damage... death. He could survive one bite, right? Maybe two...... those teeth looked awful sharp.... How would that be explained? 'I was bit by some manic without a face.' That probably wouldn't go over well.... not with those teeth...
If I live through this.... Melody is going to kill me... He thought still taking steps back, peering around the guy despite keeping his eyes trained on him and not where he was going and the look on his face clearly said 'do something to help PLEASE.' The tricky thing was, that Azzo would probably soon find the possibility of either a street tripping him up or a tree stopping him from going anywhere.... both were probably unfortunate.

Oh s**t! Well, so much for her rock idea. Surging forward, she leapt for Mazke's back, hoping to loop her arms around its throat and somehow steer it away from the kid. Or at least distract it for long enough for the kid to get out.
If this works, she thought, I will be so happy. And if this doesn't work, please don't let those teeth hurt as much as it looks like they will.

((I think it's been over the 24 hour count at this point, so I'm moving in to my turn))
Mazke had been finally contemplating sinking teeth into Azzo's face or neck, giving the boy an very impressive view of his improbable maw full of needly, wickedly sharp teeth in a face he'd torn open like an unfired clay pot, when Saiph lunged in and threw her arms around his neck.
The first sound Mazke made in the entire battle was an startled, ugly hiss of air through his teeth as she clung to him, almost sending his fedora rolling. It was something like riding an bronco, with the outraged and exposed Cardian trying to very awkwardly thrash about with his stolen chair, as likely to hit anyone else -but- Saiph, and also trying to lower his head in her grip enough to sink teeth into her clinging arms, his strategy gone from 'stealth and subtlety' to 'cornered animal' in record time.

Azzo was for the moment still stunned by the teeth and the sheer ugliness of this thing. But something was still bothering him about those teeth, why did he have teeth like that.
He blinked and shook his head when the girl Jumped on Makze's back he had almost dropped the chair in favor of trying to box the thing. But then she was in trouble, he took one glance at the chair and grinned.
"Hey watch out!" He said towards the girl as he Shoved the chair aiming for somewhere near either Makze's head or his stomach hoping it'd hit something and knock the wind out of the thing. If that didn't work it'd be time to get the ******** out of there and let the Senshi handle it.

Clinging like a limpet to the outraged Mazke, Saiph tightened her arms around his neck and wondered what the hell to do now. Other than keep the fleshy bits of her arms out of the way of those teeth.
She pulled her head down between her shoulders when the kid yelled and started jabbing away with his improvised weapon. Idiot! Why didn't he just run? In fact, she decided to voice exactly that opinion and shrilled, "Just run, you dipshit! I'm not doing this for my benefit!"
She couldn't use Tail Thrash until the kid cleared out. But there was no way in hell she was mentioning that pertinent little fact and giving Mazke the advantage of a hostage.

The swung chair slapped off the side of Mazke's head, jerking it abruptly to the side with an thud that traveled not only through Mazke's flesh, but through the chair and Azzo's own arms, indicating that Mazke was no dream creature conjured from nightmare, but very solid, with an very real bone structure under that blank face, though what resemblance it had to anyone else's was anyone's guess.
Even more disturbingly, the leg of the chair left an faint dent, as though the facial skin were made of malleable clay. Mazke staggered backward, a step or two briefly stunned, and shaking his head furiously. Furiously was probably a key word.

With the thing stunned Azzo got the hell out of dodge so to speak. "He's all yours!" He had the chair and kinda fit himself into the Alley way just in case something went wrong. But he was out the way of any attacks.
Or at least he thought for sure he was since he was off to one side of these guys.

Okay. Not exactly the direction she'd have first picked for him to run, but at least he ran. She made note of the direction and while Mazke was still trying to get its equilibrium back, she let go and scrambled atop and between the tables and chairs until she was between Mazke and the exit the kid had used.
And now that she could see more of him, she couldn't help but give a little shudder of revulsion. It was time to get rid of this thing. If she could. She hoped she could.
"Tail Thrash!" she murmured and simply let the attack roar out from her. And Mazke was about to take the full brunt of it.

((Metis/Kailey has contacted me and regretfully, has bowed out, after this post, consider Metis officially 'out of play' for the rest of the thread))
Metis had been waiting to use her attack, but with so much going on, it would have more hindrance then help. Looking towards the crowd of people she chose to put herself to use in ushering them safely out of the area. With good timing too, as soon as the last few were moved and a straggler with black hair ran by, the cry of the other senshi rose up, and well...
So much for that thing, by the sound of it. Best to make her own escape while no one was paying her much mind, come to think of it.

Still trying to clear his head, Mazke staggered for a moment. It was almost picture perfect as he regained his balance, adjusted his hat like a gentleman... only to be hit dead on by the Tail Thrash, flying backward with impressive force and tumbling end over end once or twice before skidding another foot or so across the pavement.
Perhaps down to something akin to brain damage or a concussion, the belly down monster, it's jaw full of needle teeth missing a number of them and drooling blood, fumbled around on the pavement nearby to try and retrieve it's hat, which it then flung somewhat shakily at Saiph, perhaps hoping to distract her in order to attack or flee.

Saiph followed and paused a few feet away from the downed whatever-it-was, watching it with cold eyes. In a way, she had to admire that it still was moving. In a way, she even admired how he threw his hat at her, however weak and shaky the attempt was. And perhaps, had Mazke been human, she might have let him go at this point. But no human ever sported a malleable face and needle teeth like this thing. No. This was something that needed to be killed.
"Sorry, buddy," she murmured softly as one fist raised slightly in the air. "but your friends started this, not me."
Sighing, she closed her eyes and brought her fist down with a whispered, "Tail Thrash."
Whether or not he avoided the blast would be up to luck and whatever debased gods, needle toothed monsters prayed to.

((Really sorry for the delay))
The closest thing that Mazke would have prayed to would be the tree and the masters that served it, and sadly, none of them had remained to offer any aide to their devoted creation, and he, or it, was too badly injured from the first round to dodge a second. The blow send the injured cardian flying again, like a leaf in a tornado... a fitting image since the dying or dead body didn't hit the ground in the form that Saiph had been fighting, but as an small card, with a blacked out image.

Saiph blinked at the card fluttered to the ground, its image blacked out. Walking carefully over, she knelt and picked it up to examine. For a moment, she remained motionless as she wondered how something as big as Mazke had come out of the card.
The sounds of Destiny City began to filter back to her. Now that the monster was gone, people were coming back. Time for me to get going, she thought. Glancing up, she leapt back for the roofs. The high road was safer for her for the moment. She'd power down once there weren't so many people around to see.
