"It's delicious with sugar!" she exclaimed as she giggled to herself. She was suffering from a sugar high at this point as she stood up suddenly walked away from the table. She began to spin as fast as her little legs would let her. She spun for only a few seconds before she tripped and fell down to the ground giggling. Andy jumped up from the ground and ran over to Onyx. "Come on, you gotta try this!!" she suddenly grabbed Onyx's hand and began to spin around, giggling all the way. She looked around to find others to grab to join in on the fun. "Hi, I'm Andy! What's your name?" she asked her, still spinning with her with the biggest smile on her face.

"Okay," Sorrel murmured; she may not have liked Giovanni being so forward with his request, but she was also fully prepared to respect the other girl's decision; though she saw the tension in Adeline's posture, she was too young to comprehend what it was. All she saw was the smile, and figured it really was okay.
Besides, the deal was sealed when the boy offered something in return.
She wished suddenly that he would have offered the necklace before, or possibly have asked for a trade rather than the bracelet as a gift - but it was too late for that. As it was, her eyes lit up when they fell upon the trinket. "That's pretty too," she said, leaning in for a closer look, fascinated by how the sunlight played in the glass. "I think that's a fair trade! Don't you, um..." Sorrel trailed off, realizing she didn't know the purple skinned girl's name yet. Her wide eyes slid from the necklace to the other girl imploringly.

"That's good to hear," Sonnet said to Hayden with a smile before taking her own seat and finally getting something to munch on. She hadn't eaten since late yesterday with all this getting ready, and she was starting to show it as her hands had begun to shake.
So she took this time to eat and watch, glad that there were so many kids here, as she could play the game she had planned to play if there were enough, but first they all needed the chance to eat and drink, and to give her the chance to do the same.

She had been debating over trying her newly-received tea (though at least ate a bit of the cookie), and Onyx was going to respond to the dark-haired girl's remark about it being delicious with sugar when suddenly, she was being pulled away from the table. By the aforementioned dark-haired girl. "Eeeyah!" Onyx squeaked out in surprise. It was a good thing that her teacup was on the table and not in her hands - otherwise it would have been quite a mess. She was wide-eyed, but tried to introduce herself since Andy had. "Myy... naaames... Ooo... nyx..." However, hearing his older sister's squeak and a knocked-over chair to his left alerted Lyuben to something. That was enough to pull him away from the table. The sandwich Lyuben was eating was almost gone; he was chewing his last bite, while being impolite all the same: "Onis, was raw?" Seeing a dark-haired girl spin his older sister - who was still shocked - around the field was definitely, well, a shock. "Is iss ame?" At least he swallowed his food before asking if Andy and Onyx were playing a game.

"I like your name!" she exclaimed happily. Andy had never felt this excited before. She'd usually kept to herself and never talk to others, but something about the sugar brought out a side in her that was hyperactive. "Of course it's a game!" she responded with a giggle as she grabbed his hand too and spun around with them in a circle. Andy continued laughing, happy that she was making some friends.

"Hey birdy-lady?" Hayden finished drinking his tea as fast as he could manage without burning himself before he spoke. "Have you seen my big brother?" He hadn't seen Deskri since the Nurses office incident, and was a little worried that his big brother was getting picked on again. "Is that mean kid pickin' on my big brother again." His brow furrowed unhappily. Hayden didn't like that big kid at all.
[Ffff... Deskri would die if he heard Hayden talking like that....]

Sonnet looked at Hayden before looking away for a moment. She had started this whole party as to not think about Deskri. This was supposed to be a distraction, but she supposed it was only a matter of time before Hayden brought him up.
"No, I haven't seen him. We currently aren't on speaking terms right now..." she explained solemnly.

"Oh... Why not?" He frowned, apparently no one had taught him that he was supposed to keep his mouth shut when people were obviously upset like Sonnet was. "He hasn't come see Momma either, or me! Even though Momma said he was gonna take me to the park yesterday."

Adeline was quite pleased with herself as she watched Giovanni pocket the bangle, her smile relaxing a bit in a way that - at least to her - meant she was seeing this as more of a generous act. Not a scathing one to get back at her parent. Yeah...making kids happy wasn't so bad.
However, the last thing she expected from it was a trade, so the moment the coppery glass pendant came to view Adeline's eyes lit up like little fires and locked onto it. It was somewhere between greed and delight that she ended up, and she leaned forward to look at it better. Oh, man, that was pretty.
"Ohmygosh. Are you sure you want to give me that? You don't have to give me anything, really, but it is very pretty..."
She went against the words just as she said them as she carefully plucked it out of his hand, holding it close to her face. A snake! It was a snake! Her eyes flashed again. This kid was her favorite, even if he could get in trouble for trading it to her. In the back of her mind, she wondered where he got it, but the thought stayed just there: the back.
"You're awesome, you know. Thank you!" a pause, then she gave a start and looked at Sorrel. "Adeline. I'm Adeline, sorry."

Edmund couldn't believe how nervous he was about meeting the other kids. He knew it wasn't a big deal, but he couldn't help feeling the butterflies beating around in his stomach. He held Gavin's hand because he was supposed to be watching him, but at the moment it felt more like a lifeline to the only person currently at the school who definitely liked him. He was probably holding it a little tighter then he intended which he realized as Gavin peered up at him looking concerned. "I...um....sorry Gavin" he relaxed his grip.
Gavin responded with only a smile. Then he paused, tilting his head to listen. He heard voices! Voices meant people, and Gavin liked people! So far anyway. Either way though, he wanted to know what exactly was going on. He started tugging Edmund in that direction going as fast as his little legs would allow him.
Edmund blinked in surprise as he was pulled off towards....voices...people. "Um...Gavin...wait let's just stay here a moment?" Despite his protests he found himself following the little blond one until he was faced with what appeared to be a tea party. Edmund's eyes went wide and he tried to get the surge of nerves under control.
Peering around pleased at all the people Gavin gave a beaming smile. "Hi." He chirped as a way of announcing himself.
He almost couldn't believe this was happening. Edmund glanced at the nearest kids and then shot his eyes down to look at his feet which he shuffled. "Uh...hello." his voice came out softer then he had wanted. Staring holes into his feet seemed to be the only option as he waited to see if anyone noticed them.

Giovanni continued to smile brightly, more so when the snake-haired girl took the squiggly piece of glass and said thank you. He couldn't help but grin more, happy that he got to make another person happy. Granted it was through stealing and trading, but man did it feel good!
"Momma told me trades is fairer den jus' asking fer things."
He giggled before his attention was drawn to the food and drink that had been laid out, which was rather inviting for a toddler like him. Crawling closer to it, Giovanni managed to get to the food, but he figured it'd be best if he didn't just take.
"Kin I have some?"

Since Sorrel knew Giovanni was being fair, she didn't mind him so much. In fact, nearly all the dislike she had harbored towards him had evaporated altogether, erased by the offering and the smile it brought to Adeline's face (the fact that she would possibly have been upset being a major reason for Sorrel's disapproving in the first place). For the rest of the exchange between the other girl and Giovanni she remained silent, not feeling a need to interject any longer.
Then, when Adeline turned and finally introduced herself, the girl broke out into a blithe smile. "It's okay! she said, "I almost forgot you didn't tell me. Then I couldn't remember your name because I didn't know!" The blue-haired girl held out her hand then, mimicking what she had seen her mother do when meeting new people, figuring that was what you were supposed to do (and she wasn't wrong).
"What do you like to do? My Mum says everyone has something they do good. I like drawing." She lifted her chin a little with pride, apparently under the impression that this was something to be admired - probably because it was so important to her mother.

"Last I heard he was mad at me...I don't know what's going on..." Was Sonnet's reply before looking to Gio. "Of course you can have some hon. Help yourself ^^" she said with a small smile.

"Momma always told me to ignore big brother when he's angry 'cause it'll go away." Hayden replied with a giggle. "One time ferever ago he got angry and his head turned red!" He waved his little arms about excitedly, since seeing Deskri's hair turn red had been quite amazing. "Y'shud ignore it tooooo 'cause big brother wun do anythin'."

Grinning as he was told that he could have some tea and snacks, Giovanni sipped the tea before grabbing a handful of snacks and shoving them into his mouth happily. Oh he did enjoy being out and about, though he wished his bestest friend in the world could be more outgoing...
Looking about, he swallowed the mass of food and started to talk, "Hiya everyone, 'm Giovanni and I has a bestest friend whos name is Anox and he doesn't have many friends.."
