Tilting her head at the stammering from the woman she guessed was in front of her, she just gave a faint smile, eyes staring distantly ahead. Naomi could hear the happy cries of laughter from children, a brief smile on her lips. "A pleasure, I'm Naomi. I'm a traveling performer just looking for a place to rest and maybe gain a few coins." She answered while holding out a hand, understanding that it wasn't often someone just casually said they killed a bear. Much less claim to simply be a traveling performer. Her hands relaxed away from her weapons, lowering her hood, brushing her crimson hair from tickling her chin too much more. She could very faintly see a ghostly outline in front of her, guessing where the girls face was so she could appear to look in the right direction.
Finding the tavern with relative ease, Evian took an empty spot at the bar, giving the bartender a smirk. "Just a gin please." She asked softly, strapping her walking stick to her back for the moment, taking the glass with a soft thanks. Downing it, she had another, calming the pounding in her chest. So far, we're fine. I can probably relax for now. She pulled out a scroll from a pouch at her hip, looking over her list of things to do. With Mal's request for aid done, she was free for the moment. It was always good to take a break once in a while. Maybe I'll travel a bit. I dunno, we'll see how things play out.

Roran smirked. "Why it left? Who knows? It could've been tired of lighting a world belonging to a prejudiced race. Maybe it was an attempt to kill all our crops, so we'd die, who knows? I like to think that the sun was sick of watching us humans destroy everything around us, and you magii getting picked on. I mean, we did destroy everything as a race. When the sun was around, we waged a war against your race, nearly causing you to be extinct! Since the sun left we've overthrown the only form of government we've ever had, we've practically enslaved you after we began blaming you for the sun's disappearance, and, to top it off, we havn't tried making anything better. I think the sun got sick of the humans, and rightfully so."
"W-well, Rollin is a good place for that," she smiled, not able to make out the woman's cloudy eyes in the darkness. "Being a small town, they enjoy it when performers come through on the wy to Velburg. I must say, though, not many people leave Velburg." Luna had been taken aback by the fact that the woman killed a bear as a performer, but then everyone had their secretive pasts. There was no point in prying.

Listening in silence to Roran's opinion, it was certainly a normal magii response. "That's an interesting answer. I've never heard a human answer like that before. You're very passionate about your answer." She murmured. "I don't know why the sun left. I think it would be a fun thing ti investigate full time." Amaya giggled lightly.

Ashe had run as far as she could before stopping for breath. "Man....Now I have to find another village to hole up in." She shook her head and pulled out the item she had stolen in the last village. It was a necklace with crescent moon and sun next to each other. Her family's crest. "What was it doing in that sleeze's possession? Was he one that killed my family?"
She shook her head and continued forward, passing the body of a bear. She whistled at it, "I would hate to be the enemy of the one who killed you," she said to it. She continued forward and spotted two forms standing near a village gate.
Another village...but one must be a guard... She stood in the shadows and used the wind to carry their conversation to her, easily eavesdropping on them.
Gitano made his way towards the tavern nearest to him and walked inside. The patrons looked up, studied him, and looked back down. He made his way to the bar and sat down. Ordering a drink he started to study the crowds. They look like they could use a good song...
Turning to the bartender he said, "Pretty dreary lot you got here. Any chance of letting someone cheer them up?" The bartender laughed. "You do that and I'll let you have a room for as long as you stay here."
Gitano smiled and pulled out his fiddle. "Just what I wanted to hear," he said as he walked to the other end and started to play a lively tune. By the end of the song, most of the men had sung along, the other's where clapping along, but all where smiling and the place had a much more lively feel to it.

"Well, then I hope I can add to that enjoyment." Naomi blinked, shaking her head. "Who would want to leave a comfortable city? Most probably don't have enough money. I haven't been to Velburg yet, but I can guess it's like any other I've been to." She paused, tilting her head as she felt some vibrations in the earth, glancing behind even though there wasn't anything in the black. Don't worry about it. Hopefully it's nothing.
"I apologize if I've made you uncomfortable." Turning her head back to where she guessed the girl was, "I've been taught how to handle myself is all. Do many animals attack people on the roads here?" She inquired, personally not remembering many approaching her except the bear.

"I...well...no, not generally, but around this time of year it's mating season, putting a lot of creatures on edge. Plus, as you apparently found out, bears hybernate during the winter, so they build up their fat during the fall." The wind picked up then, hitting her back, making her shiver. Shaking it off, she stared at the woman as she looked behind her. "Would you like me to take you to the tavern?" She offered.
Roran glared at her in the darkness. "You're persistant," he hissed with a slight annoyance. Hearing her gigle, though, made the annoyance go away again. "Of course I'm passionate. To contend with the heavy segregation, you've got to be passionate, otherwise you'll never overcome it. I despise my brothers and sister for causing the segregation. We humans have no right. But hey, if you'd rather, I'll force you to clean my shoes." Smirking, he made sure his tone let her know he was joking.
"Looking for the sun full time would be a waste of time. Do you really think you'll find it? I personally doubt it. Whomever or whatever caused it to move, well, I'm sure they didn't move it into a findable place. No one's found it." Looking up into the sky now, the stars twinkled down at him.Eternal darkness would be perfect for someone with my power...and yet I can't use it.

"Persistence is is my middle name." Amaya teased. "Actually I don't have a middle name, but you get the idea...." She said, still looking up at the sky. "I hardly even clean my own shoes, so you'd be out of luck." She laughed. hearing his question, she shrugged. "I agree, it is a waste of time, and I really don't think I will ever find the reason the sun disappeared, but it gives me a reason not to take pointless jobs that pay the smallest amount possible." She told him.

Evian looked up as a rather distinctive man walked into the tavern, blinking since he didn't seem like anyone else there. Turning in her chair, she leaned on her elbows which were pressing against the bar counter behind her, her drink in hand. Laughing, she cheered at the tune he had chosen, immediately singing along. That was one thing she had always wondered at. How was it, a group of mostly tone-deaf drunken men could manage to sound awesome whilst singing together. It was one of the wonders of the world she supposed. Paying up for her drinks so far, she halfway turned back to the counter, at this point just buying a bottle so she could drink it at her own rate. Ah damn... haven't heard someone play like that in a while.
Naomi nodded, raising an eyebrow to the bear comment. Either way, she just hoped many wouldn't continue their attack, she never really enjoyed killing animals unless she had no choice. Glancing back again at the change in wind, the moon glinted off of her eyes, shaking her head as she swore again she felt very faint vibrations. They can handle themselves.
Again, she turned her head to Luna's voice, a warm smile breaking out onto her features. "I would greatly appreciate that."

"Then follow me!" She cheerily smiled, turning on her heels and walking off towards the village again. The tavern wasn't too far in, being the only one in this tiny village. It was about a two minute walk. Reaching the entrance, you could hear drunken singing coming from inside. Yuck. Drunken fools. "Here you are! It should be warm and cozy, if you can avoid the drunks." She smiled, turning to walk away.
Laughing at her retort, he dropped the joke. She won. "I wouldn't call the jobs you seem to take pointless. You aid people. Whether they be human or magii, you still help keep people safe. That matters, and isn't pointless. Plus, any money is good money, right? especially in this world."

Ashe stiffened when on of the two glanced back at her twice. Though judging from the fact that she didn't call out...she's either letting me know that she knows I'm here...or she's blind.
She had heard the other mentioning that she was a guard and sighed. I'm going to have to pass the village guards to get in, might as well talk to this one... She stepped forward and into the guards line of sight.
"Uh...hello. I'm a bit lost, and was wondering. Is there a village or town nearby I can rest?" She pretended to be lost, well, that was the truth, but not the whole truth.
Gitano smiled and bowed to the crowd. He made his way back to his seat and held out his hand. "I believe we wagered a room?" The bartender laughed and handed him a key. "Thank you."
He turned to the woman next to him and said, "Strange to find a female on her own in a place like this. You have a nice singing voice there. I heard it all the way on the other side." He smiled as he placed the fiddle on the bar counter.
((Heading out for a bit...))

"I guess so. But what do I have to spend money on? Food? I can get food on my own without having to use money." Amaya said with a shrug. "I help people, but they never really appreciate it." She muttered, not really seeming to care.

Evian looked up as the performer came over, glancing to the exchange as she took a good swig from her bottle. Cringing a little at the harshness, she shook her head once, looking up as he spoke to her. A faint blush flew across her features, her emerald eyes finding his. "Ah well, I'm just traveling around is all. Thanks. I'm always happy to hear a familiar tune. You do play a mean fiddle." She gave him a wink, glancing over him once. "Hmm, I'm going to say you are a traveling performer?" She asked, realizing that may seem obvious, but one could never be fully sure sometimes.
Naomi had to listen and feel with her feet where Luna was going, almost bumping into a child who was running past. Though, once she could hear the singing, she was relatively fine. Hell, she could smell it for that matter. "Thank you again Luna. I hope your watch is peaceful." She gave the girl a bright smile, stepping through the doorway after giving her a small bow.
She heard the tune falling quiet, walking over to where she could hear glasses clinking together, holding out a hand. Thankfully she felt the hard wood, giving it a small grip to be sure. Her other hand felt for a chair, finding it quickly. Sitting down, she pulled out a flask from a pouch, taking a sip as she listened to what was happening around her. "Excuse me sir, are there any rooms free?" She asked the bartender, not able to see his reaction to her being blind. "Sure, can you pay?" He asked, part of him feeling bad for asking. She nodded, "I can also sing if I don't have enough." He blinked, looking over to the other performer. She put what she had out on the counter, "That'll do fine miss. But, you don't have to worry about it. I'm sure Luna told you, we do enjoy a song and tale." He smiled, and she could hear it in his words. "Oh but I wouldn't wish to leave you without some kind of payment." She pushed forward the coins, hearing him sigh. She felt for the key as she heard it slide across the counter. "Thank you, may I also have some wine and something to eat?" She asked softly, hearing the two at the other end of the bar, but for now she settled to listen for the rest of the crowd. The community was close-knitted, she could tell from the way they spoke, their tones, choice of words...

Luna looked at Asche, a little dumbfounded. "You're in a village. If you want a drink, that's the tavern," she pointed at the building right behind her, "and if you want a bed, well, that's the place for you too. Is there anything else?"
Roran sighed. "Money is good for more than just food," he said, looking at the stars some more. "Money is leverage. Money is power. With money, you can do whatever you want." Closing his eyes, he tried to push the memories that came up with the last part of her sentence away. "No one can ever appreciate anyone else enough. They have no idea what it's like to be you. That's just a fact of life. Get used to it and get over it." Sighing, he opened his eyes to see the stars again. Forever twinkling, never stopping, not for anything.

Amaya smiled. "I don't really care if I have leverage or power. It means nothing to me. If I wanted, I could terrorize humans to gain a respect out of fear, but what life is that?" She said, the moon reflecting in her red eyes. She seemed at peace with herself and the world, even if she was a magii.

Ashe looked around confused. "O...Eh he...Sorry." She thanked the guard and headed off towards the tavern. She didn't walk inside, but slipped into the ally way and jumped up to the roof. She made her way carefully towards the chimney stack and sat down. No money...
Gitano nodded. "Thanks. Yes, I'm a performer. I've been traveling for a few years now. I came to this little village earlier." He ordered a drink and started drinking it while he talked.
