Those are some amazing goals and wants Stephanie. I know you can accomplish them with a little help from the universe. Stick with my class and you will be loosing pounds, gaining character, and gaining a whole lot of self confidence.

Keep pounding out those Lessons/Assignments, you are doing a great job.

Assignment 2 - Goal Seeking Questions

1.i want to lose 110lbs by the time i finish high school

2.i will track my eating, exercising, and weight on a website called livestrong.com

3.my goal is attainable, all it takes is motivation and determination.

4.my goal is very relevant to my purpose in life because being unhealthy makes it harder to carry out any purposes. being fat makes me depressed, and that depresses other people. i honestly don't believe that i am capable of carrying out a purpose unless i accomplish this goal.

5.i will accomplish this goal by june of 2013

6. yes because if you have to make a goal specific, it requires more thought and i think that makes it stick in your brain more.

7. yes because its easier to be lazy about vague ideas

8. i feel comfortable setting goals. its the following through that i tend to be uncomfortable about.

(they taught us about SMART goals in health class biggrin )

Sounds like you have a plan and are on a roll. And I learned this a few years in health class as well, just not as in depth. Congratulations on completing another assignment, you are one step closer to changing your world.

Assignment 2:1

i decided to send out vibes so that i could attract happiness today, and it worked. Last night i was feeling kinda sick and so i decided to do this lesson. i tried to picture myself healthy and atleast moderately happy. I woke up this morning feeling a little less sick, and today wasn't too bad, i went to visit some elementary school teachers.

Big Picture
I thought the board was a great idea and i drew it on the space next to my calendar so i'll be sure to look at it.
Anyways, the smiley faces and music notes in the left hand corner are to remind me to be happy. the elephant at the top right (yeah i know its not a very good drawing) represents my continued searching for knowledge and wisdom. the tree in the bottom left (i know, it's bad) is to remind me to not get so worked up about everything. the road with the cactus is to remind me to exercise. i chose a desert highway because i still have a long way to go and exercising makes me sweat. the picture on the top next to the elephant is to remind me that i want to feel good about myself. and the crowd of people standing around me at the bottom is to remind me that i want to make myself appealing to other people as well as to myself. i will definately continue to use my vision board because it's hard to lie to yourself about something thats in your face.

Lesson 3 - Action

Time and time again you may hear someone tell you that "actions speak louder than words." well, they may have a point. In order to help the universe help you you need to make necessary actions toward your goals on your own.

The Universe
We already know that the Universe wants to help. It wants you to be happy, as it does all of its many creatures. But even though the Universe is infinity powerful, it can not physically move you. Through the Law of Attraction I told you that you are able to change your life, which is not untrue, but now I am taking it one step deeper. The Law of Attraction only brings opportunities into our life. It lays down the road that you must then walk yourself. It sounds a little confusing, I know, and I am sure you are wondering how to know what actions to make. I'll tell you.

Act in Faith
It is a simple concept but not as easy in practice. Your actions must mirror that which you are trying to obtain. If you want to be a famous actor, well then you have to audition at local and armature theater first. If your goal is to get a job, then you have to start looking through job applications and start sending out your resimey. These actions help the Universe work in your life and set up the events that will lead you to your goal.

Without Action
I know there are a few of you that have reached your goals so far with the Law of Attraction alone, but I ask you to look deeper. How did the goal resolve? Did you have any action what so ever? I ask this because you probably had made some action towards your goal without knowing it. If you wanted a good parking space, it would have been useless if you were not driving your car, and driving is an action. Many times we are mindlessly making steps toward our goals without knowing it. This is not a bad thing since getting your but out there and just walking around helps you reach your goals. These conscious actions with premeditated purpose will lead you to your goal quicker and easier.

Assignment 3:1 - Act Now

All is good, said and done, but this section is all about the action. I need you to apply the concept of acting in faith to your own goals. I am not asking for the world, just a small list of specific actions you are going to do in order to reach your goals.

I expect these tasks to be...
A. Conceivably accomplish within a week ~ NOT long term BUT Realistic
B. Specific ~ Good: I will buy a shovel / Bad: I will get supplies for gardening

Assignment 3:2 - Scenario Action Relay

This is a harder unit for me to make assignments for because it is a physical lesson, not a verbal one. So to keep you moving in the right direction and to prove to me that you fully understand the action portion, I have made a small worksheet for you to answer.

Directions: Below is a list of different scenarios. Each scene contains some back story along with a want/need. I want you to come up with at least one possible action to help the person get closer to the goal they seek to fulfill.

*Note* Try not to use the same action for every problem and no feelings. Actions are external.

1. Jimmy wants to pass eleventh grade. He is near the end of the year and that 65 average seems just out of reach.

2. Linda has always admired artists and their ability to make masterpieces. She wishes to someday make beautiful artwork herself.

3. Mark has been dealing with depression for some time now. He has attempted suicide a few times. He just wants the pain to go away.

4. Mel just recently experienced a tragic break up. She is still in love with the boy, buy wants to stop feeling that way.

5. Aron is often times bored. He goes day to day feeling unfulfilled, following the same patterns. He wants excitement in his life.

6. Christina has an addiction to alcohol. She has tried going "cold turkey" a few times but she still couldn't quit. She drinks herself to sleep, feeling hopeless.

7. Carl has been feeling out of sync with the gods. He feels like he is starting from his faith and he doesn't want that. He is looking for a stronger relationship with the higher forces.

8. Malinda has cancer, and has for quite some time now. The cancer is starting to spread through her body and she is becoming desperate for deliverance. Even though she wants help, she spend most of her time moping about the house feeling sorry for herself.

Assignment 2 - Goal Seeking Questions

I picked from my list of five goals to use the goal "Grow more emotionally mature" when I applied to these questions.

1. Do you know exactly what you want to accomplish with all the details? I want to learn when to better emotionally express or supress my emotions given to the current situation.

2. Are you able to assess your progress? Practice and take all my emotions underconsideration to the current situation take the time to do some deep thinking about why I feel the way I do and how would this best be expressed or supresse what I'm feeling at this moment and is it the best time for this reaction.

3. Is your goal within your reach given your current situation? I do believe this goal is in my reach I just have to do some hard work to get it.

4. Is your goal relevant towards your purpose in life? Yes, I would like to be better able to help others but I first feel like I need to help myself so that I can better help for them.

5. What is the deadline for completing your goal? One Year

6. Do you feel that these questions helped you with your Goals? How? Yes, they helped me narrow down my goal and make it more specific.

7. Will you use these questions for future Goals? Why? Sure, why not they seem to have helped me with my goal.

8. Do you feel comfortable setting Goals? Yes and No, I know that if I set the goal I'm going to go for it which is good but I'm afraid I might fail so I don't want to set them at all.

~You did the assignment correctly, don't worry, there is basically no wrong answer. I would have to say the goal you chose seems hard to apply to all of the questions, but you managed to do it, bravo.

~Now as for the being afraid of setting goals because of failure is silly. How can you know you will fail unless you try. Not setting the goal means that it will never be accomplished, so in a sense you are failing by not setting the goal. I know that is a weird way to look at it but if it helps, so be it.

~When you get into the Law of Attraction section, the next lesson, I am sure you will be able to fill in a few more of the blanks. With this class, and combining the physical and metaphysical elements, you will be able to accomplish any goal, that abides by the law of physics. "That just means any goal that is possible, like not being able to fly or breath water."

Assignment 2:1 - Small Wish

The Response
~Step by step, what did you do?
1. Visualized having a good day in the morning sent out good vibes.
2. Did things I enjoyed that day and found more enjoyment in doing things I normally don't enjoy doing because I made it more fun.
3. Had a good day (it rained to I love rain)

~Was it a success? I believe so I just had a more positive attitude toward my day and it became more positive.
~Do you feel you need more practice to get good at it? I want to practice it with other things to to see how that goes.
~Do you think you are ready for more complicated tasks? I would like to think so I want to try more complicated things but currently I can't think of any more complicated things you think that teacher you could give me more examples of things that I could use the Law of Attraction to help bring about.
~Do you feel you need more information or clarity before you can
successfully use the Law of Attraction? For more complicated things I think so.
~If you want more information, can you tell me what is confusing you? Can I use the Law of Attraction for big wishes to and would I go about doing a big wish the same way?
