"Its nothin' I have to leave the clearing for." she said. "Its something I can do with my bells that I think you'll like." she said. "Since you like music and all." she smiled and moved back into the center to give her lots of room. She planned on doing one of her more bouncy dances and would need the room.
She quickly checked the ground making sure there weren't any hidden holes then began a little jiggling dance that let her frisk about sending out a merry little tune from her bells. She glanced over at him and grinned as she quickened the pace and intensity.

The green foal blinked at her response. Didn't have to leave the clearing? But she had never been here before, what could she have to show him. He watched in silence as she moved away and back out into the open. She was doing something strange...unique movements that were causing her bells to ring and chime absolutely wonderfully.
He had never heard such a thing. Not even when he was playing with the bells earlier and running with her. It sounded much different now with the combined noise of her hooves on the ground. Smiling, Crescendo started buzzing his wings softly in rhythm to her movements and sounds. She was beautiful like this. Absolutely stunning and each of her movements was so calculated and precise.

Rondel finally finished with a flourish, a short jump that allowed her to lift all four of her hooves off the ground, before coming back down her bells giving one more loud chime. She panted and watched the dust could she'd raised dissipate. "I was watching your wings, you have wonderful rhythm." she said. "You keep very good time." she smiled and huffed. "Whoo~ I never did that one so fast before." she said. "Fun though. Lots of fun." she grinned and walked around slowly to cool down.

Crescendo nodded and smiled to her, stopping his wings and laying them flat for a bit. "You have amazing rhythm and movement too...I've never seen anything like that before! Where did you learn?" He asked, trailing after her, eventually joining her side happily.
"I wish I could do something like that...but I've only got my little wings." He mumbled, glancing down to watch the ground for a bit as they walked around.

Rondel looked over at him. "My momma told me how to do it, and showed me a bit. After that I figured it out all by myself. Momma said I was a natural because of her and Papa."
She bumped against him playfully in an effort to cheer him up. "You don't need bells to dance. Its about following the music that lives inside your body." she said. "You already have the rhythm, its just about finding the steps to make it come alive." she said with a nod, then leaning over to nuzzle him.

He smiled and nodded, nuzzling her back without thinking. "I guess...maybe I'll learn from you someday!" His wings buzzed again slightly as he nudged her gently and playfully after that.
He had to admit, he was excited to learn new things. Especially if those new things included dancing and exploring with this pretty golden filly. He hoped to spend a lot of time with her if he could. Even though he knew eventually she'd have to return home to her own momma if she ever found her again.

"I'd like to teach you." Rondel said smiling again and nudging him again. She giggled again as his wings buzzed. They were just the cutest thing she'd ever seen.
She stopped her slow circle around the clearing and closed her eyes listening to the bird song and collecting her thoughts. She'd never felt so at ease with someone else, not even Melody. Here was someone who was as curious and intrigued about the world as she was. She let her mind wander and could almost picture them striking out on their own to see the world. She imagined him against the grass of the open plains and had to smile as she realized that he'd blend in almost perfectly. They'd have a lot of fun wandering out there, seeing things...
It was then she felt a pang in her heart, knowing that she should be more worried about finding her way back home, to her mother. Rondel sighed and looked down at her hooves again.

Crescendo frowned as he watched her. He could tell something was wrong, but he didn't know if it was more than just missing her mother or not. He gently nudged her again, trying to get her to look at him again.
"Hey...what's wrong? Is it 'cus you miss your momma?" He asked, moving closer and nuzzling her a bit. "I can help you go find her..."

Rondel sniffed and blinked her eyes holding back tears. "Oh, I couldn't ask you to do that, Crescendo...I don't have any clue where she is or how to even get to the edge of the forest. Besides your momma would miss you like crazy." she gave him a brave smile and put her head against him. "Its very sweet of you to ask. Your the sweetest, bravest, bestest colt I ever met." she said.

"And you're the bestest filly I ever met." He grinned, nuzzling her again. He almost couldn't imagine being without her now. It felt at this point he had known her forever and they would both be able to play all the time rather than both go back to their respective homes. He didn't want to leave her side for any reason now.
"Please~? I wanna help! I wanna make sure you're okay! And your momma's okay and mine will be okay!"

Rondel looked over at him. "Are...are you sure? I don't want you to get in trouble." she nuzzled against him. "We could...how bout...how bout we tell your Momma that your going to help me when she gets back." she said. "That way she won't worry about you."
She looked a picture of innocence as she said it, but secretly she was hoping that Crescendo's mother would be awhile. She felt guilt wanting to stay with the colt instead of hurrying back to Meldoy...but it had already been a few weeks, what was a few more? In her heart she knew she'd never be the same if she left Crescendo now.

Crescendo frowned a bit before perking right back up and smiling at her. "Okay~! We'll wait. I dunno when she'll be back though..." He mumbled, looking down at his front feet again. He honestly hated not knowing when and how long she would always be gone. It was becoming different every time and more often than not he woke up alone in their little grove of trees.

Rondel watched his body language and moved closer again. "At least your momma comes back...mine went away for along time...I had to go find her all by myself. Otherwise I was gonna end up with a Usdia for a Momma..." Rondel frowned and sighed. "If I ever have foals I'm never gonna leave them...Momma's shouldn't leave their babies." she said firmly before going on quickly, "Oh, I know they have to go sometimes, but getting left alone all the time is no good. 'Sides they wouldn't be learning things they need too if I left'em." she finished.

Crescendo nodded to her, listening intently and smiling. "Yeah. If I ever have any, I'm going to teach them everything I know and everything my momma taught me!" He grinned happily and flopped down in the grass, nestling in. "Mmm it's nice and soft and warm here...." He murmured, glancing back up at her.

Rondel looked down at him then happily flopped down with him. "You're right. Mmmm..." she stretched out and rested her head near his so she could still see him. "So where's your papa? Your momma leave him like my momma left my papa?"
