Karma. See one reason why I would not abort is because no one has the bad karma against me. For the abortions it's my belief that the spirit of the fetus had done the spirit of the mother wrong in a past life. So it's karma is to be stripped of the existence that soul would give.

Only the body dies... the person doesn't. That's the key point in my belief I think you might be missing. God (my belief) takes the soul and spirit out before hand, he knows what is going to happen and he removes the possibility of pain before the body is removed. Suicide, the Holocaust (I know they felt pain, but I think part of that comes from the fact that there the removal needs to happen right before the actual death), accidents, murder, natural death, ect all have the same thing. And in the Hindu belief that holds the Karma, what the person did in a past life IS known. Hence why they are reincarnated into different castes, animals, god like creatures. So the Karma is known for the spirit... just like the collective conciousness.

It's another reason I think brain dead people should be taken off life support (if it is their wish or a family member's wish). The spirit has already gone, only the soul is keeping the organs working, but the two are separated and need to be rejoined before they can be reborn.

Also, it's not the PERSON who is deciding it. It's the karma... the person is just the vessel in which it is carried out.

If they were lesbians they most wouldn't even have to worry about getting pregnant, expect for being raped.

They should be allowed to voice any opinion just like anybody else. Just be they won't get or get someone pregnant when they choose to have sex. Doesn't mean they don't have a can't say what they think and believe.
