"Well, I guess you could say that we sort of have that in common, my ..they were supposed to be my parents ..but they both vanished recently with one of my brothers and my only sister which left Silas and myself here." Moira smiled a little sadly, "But.. getting away from that..." She stopped when she heard the other talking, "Well you probably looked like a guy in some peoples eyes.. I once had someone ask why my hair was pink because they thought I was a guy, I guess that's what I get for wearing a baggy hoodie." The woman laughed.

"They only took two of you?" Aiden frowned. She had not often thought about having children of her own, but she had often thought about what it would be like to have parents, and that was not something she had even considered possible. "Well, you seem to be doing fine without them." She shook her head a bit.
Ah, good, she hadn't picked up on what she had been talking about. One less thing to explain... one less person's private thoughts to worry about. "Yes, I did... appear to be quite male when I was a child." She smiled a bit, "the humans in town can be so.... weird."

She nodded again, "Weird is right, but there are some nice ones out there too.. I guess like with us, you can't judge them all with one label..I just don't think everyone actually acts on that though.." Moira sighed before laughing, "If I can go to work, it's going to be an interesting time seeing as I get to work at a place where I have to occasionally beat someone up."

"Well yes.. there are some nice ones. My friend Edmund's mother is human, and she is quite nice. I haven't met her myself but he talks about her a lot." She smiled, based on the stories Edmund had told her, Aiden would have liked to have a mother that was similar to Sun.
"Oh, what is your job? It sounds dangerous, and I can only imagine it'll get more dangerous with the lock down." She frowned, trying to think of a job title that would may require fighting.

"I'm a Bouncer at club Heaven or Hell, kind of funny that the hired me there too, though I have seen a few other winged people there, so I guess it's more or less a club open to everyone, but if people get racist, they get thrown out.." She laughed, "I've had people cursing at me because of my wings, it's kind of funny to be honest."

Aiden blinked a few times. The name of the club seemed a bit daunting. Did it mean it was either really nice or a horrible experience? "Oh, well.. that's nice... the tossing out thing... but you shouldn't have to deal with people cursing at you because you have wings. I don't understand people like that... they're so obviously wrong but they can't see it."

The woman shrugged, "Well I think it might be how they were raised or something.. Angels and Demons specifically get the worst reputation because they seem to have been connected to only a handful of religions that the humans have out there.. or at least from what I've encountered. It's kind of confusing at times.." she murmured the last bit, scratching her chin before turning to look at the refrigerator, "The cookies should be done chilling, I should start baking them." Moira grinned as she moved to go grab the bowl.

"That's true, I suppose. I have yet to hear anything negative about fairies, anyway. Even in fictional stories it's rare to find something negative about them." She shrugged a little. Human religion was also very confusing to her, even though she had read many books about it. "Probably, before anyone else happens to drop by and want some." She laughed a little, "cookies seem to be a widely enjoyed treat."

Moira nodded at both counts of what the other said, "I heard from Asu that we're going to get several more toddlers coming in soon, so I figured that I should try and hone my cooking making and what not.. I still haven't asked her or the elders if I could run a day care for those who need to go out or want to.. " she started to talk about her plans and why she wanted to have a day care in the academy, all of it seemed to go back to her past, to her own childhood.

"Who is Asu?" Aiden had never heard of that person. Despite being "in charge" of the academy Asu had not made her presence widely known to the students, instead preferring to let the Elders act as though they were pulling the strings.
"Oh, a daycare sounds like a lot of work, but also fun. I haven't been around too many toddlers, they grow up so quickly." She smiled a bit, though it faltered when Moira broke off. She knew what that meant. "I don't think very many parents are like that... you would think that the Elders would step in or something if it was that big of an issue."

"Asu is one of the people in charge.. she also adopted my brother and I just a few weeks ago." She said with a smile, happy that her brother was getting some form of parental love. Looking to Aiden when she spoke up, she couldn't help but not, "Yeah.. but I think it was due to my original parents' standing in the Academy, or at least my Grandmother. I had never seen or heard of the Elders until just recently, actually."

"That's nice, I'm glad you got a better parent." Aiden grinned. "Oh, were they special or something? I haven't met too many people so I don't know a lot about the other students... Haha, they're pretty reclusive. I think I saw one of them from afar, but I'm not sure, he could have just been another student."

Moira shrugged, "Well, I can't say from what I saw of them, or what little I saw of them, but I think they were some of the first of our kind to be in the Academy, aside from the Elders... I think my original 'Grandmother' was someone who helped create the Academy because she had this huge mansion that had a ton of rooms in it." She laughed, remembering one of the days she had gotten lost in the place as a little girl.

"Wow, that is pretty special. I think I've seen that mansion, from afar anyway. It gave me the creeps..." She made a bit of a face. The mansion in question never really seemed to look like a home. More like one of those haunted houses that bad people lived in.
