"Sure, no prob--" he winced in mid-sentence as he was shocked. He didn't care much, but it was startling. Ace blinked a few times, crouching down and reading the scroll, then standing back up. He took the kunai slowly, his eyes becoming serious and determined. He tried to channel his chakra and exhaled slightly, putting it into the kunai, a small cackle of his crimson chakra flashing out of his hand. "Ow!" Ace winced, dropping the kunai as his hand was electrocuted, but that didn't stop him. "Is there something I'm doing wrong here?" he asked Okami.

Not too far off from where Ace and Okami were, a girl sat under a tree on the hill overlook, staring at the misty town below. She had a somber look on her face. She'd just had another dream of her childhood. For anyone else, that wouldn't be so bad, but she didn't like looking back on her past. it was no use to her, and it didn't help. It depressed her too.
Rei Shirogane picked up her navy blue newsboy hat and put it on, standing up and brushing herself off. An odd looking weapon hung on her black pants, so she fixed her jacket so it hung over the weapon. Sighing, Rei looked around. She could feel power nearby, knowing she was near probably a couple of people. Best to stay out of that, whatever's going on... She stretched, thinking of what she could do. She wasn't put in a team yet. She was still waiting for word on that. So she had nothing to do except maybe either go home or go around town and ask if anyone needed help with tasks.

Ace grinned at Rei's appearance. "Heyyy! Didn't I steal something from you?!" he exclaimed at her, though people down from the town yelled back: "You stole from EVERYONE!" at him. "Hey!" Ace called back, laughing exuberantly already. He was older and a lot taller now, so he grew out of his older habits. Hopefully. He looked back at Okami, prepared as he picked the kunai up again, inhaling and exhaling deeply.
He closed his eyes as his whole figure relaxed itself, and he smirked as he felt his chakra be a bit more well channeled, and he sent it into the kunai, making it cackle a bit before rushing back at Ace, and shocking him once again, but weaker. The kunai fell to the ground, and Ace's well bandaged and gloves hands weren't damaged that much. "Third time's the charm." he muttered, bending down and lifting the kunai up, spinning it on his pointer finger until holding it again.

"Ace Mishiama..." Rei muttered under her breath as he exclaimed at her, thus making several others speak up. "Skilled genin, known widely fr his pickpocketing...I think quite a few elders asked me to recover items likely taken by him." She went over it in ehr head. Yeah, she definitely remembered running into those tasks before. She doubted he took anything from her in particular, as it was difficult to pull off such a simple thing as pickpocketing on her, though perhaps it was still entirely possible. She put her hands in her pockets and watched Ace and Okami with interest.

Ace closed his eyes, once again taking in a deep breath then exhaling. Once his eyes opened, they narrowed in seriousness. He hastily channeled his chakra into its raiton affinity. It crackled slightly as it exited his hand, and it ran into the kunai as Ace spun it on one finger. "Heh!" he grinned, finally getting the jutsu to work. Ace poked himself with the kunai, slightly electrocuting himself, but not caring. "This is awesome! Does it mean I can channel it into this?" he asked, using his left hand to pull out his three section staff, then adjusting it into its double bladed spear form, looking at Okami excitedly.
He took his chakra out of the kunai and returned it to Okami, then took out a shuriken, using his new jutsu on it and throwing when at a nearby tree, not where Rei was, and seeing how the shuriken made a deep, small dent in the tree. "What's next?" he inquired Okami, then looked to Rei. "Wanna join us?"

Rei blinked, hearing him address her. She shook her head a little bit. "No. Just go on, don't mind me." She said. She was rarely asked to join anyone in any kind of activity unless it was her grandfather, so naturally she'd refuse on her own. She decided it was just best that way. Practicing transferring chakra into your weapon...I have a hold on that, but only with my own weapon because it was created just for that kind of use. She very well couldn't say she could pull off the same technique with her kunai.

"No problem, but if you wanna join, you can if you want." the 13 year-old sighed, but then his eyes brightened again as he searched through his bag. "Hm. Here's a hat that you. Er.. Dropped." he chuckled, tossing it over to Rei, then dropping it to the ground.
Ace jogged over to the tree, though it was at the speed of running, then came back over to Okami. "Alright, now I'm seriously ready to know what's next." he nodded to himself.

Rei shrugged to his request, and watched as he dug through his bag. She blinked as her hat hit the ground in front of her, and she touched her hair. She blushed a bit in embarrassment and slight anger as she frowned and put her hat back on. How'd he take it without even getting near her? "Right. Dropped. Do something like take my hat again, and I see to it that you haven't the hands to steal with." She said with irritation in ehr voice, She hated others taking her hat from her. Reminder her too much of how the kids picked on her at the academy.

Ace shook his head furiously. "No, no! I'm done stealing stuff for no reason! Your hat is on your back, it fell earlier. I stole that hat maybe three weeks ago!" he quickly explained, not meaning any hard feelings. He ran over to Rei and lightly pushed her forward off the tree, the hat wedged between the tree and Rei's back, showing her current hat, and Rei's hat, the one he threw at her. "See?" he sighed, then went back over to Okami.

Rei turned and picked up her actual hat, putting that one on her head. "So that's where my hat went weeks ago." She murmured. She had been upset over that, and her grandfather cheered her up by making her a new one. "Fine, but remember what I said." She told him before he ran back to Okami. She sat down and removed her weapon. The small projectile shooter was a hollow weapon, looking like a simple model of something, but it was actually a weapon. It only worked with chakra running through it, hers specifically. She used ehr thumbnail to chip off some dirt on it and went back to watching the pair nearby.

Ace stared at the scroll, trying to see what the E-Rank jutsu's purpose was. "What's an.. Electricity Resistance Justu?" he asked.

"Simple, its where I train you to resist electricity by putting you in a pool of electrified water, your body will adjust to where the electricity does not effect you and makes Raiton jutsu less effective as well as allowing you to use your own jutsu at higher power with out injury."

Ace listened in silence. "Kay~" he hummed. "Wait, it makes my jutsu weaker or an opponents Raiton attack weaker?" he asked.

"Opponents," he nodded and sighed,"Alright next is Raiton: Raikou Hitofuki no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Blast Technique). Its a little difficult, you charge chakra into your hand and palm out release a small average strength blast of electricity." He demonstrated,"Well, take your time trying, it is Chuunin level so it will take you a few tries."

"It won't be that difficult!" Ace upbeatly said. He thought of a way to simplify this. "So, I just pretened my hand is the kunai, then I let it out? On what?" he asked Okami, charging another shuriken and throwing it at the same tree.
