how about a storyline, where the main character doesnt want to become a pokemon trainer.... but one of the starters u saved from wild poochyenas or starlys will always be following u.... then u start on a quest and u end up becoming a pokemon trainer
and yeah.. it will totally suck if the handheld system changes.....

They are not going to change the Handheld because there is nothing really to improve. The only upgrade it can get is for graphics. The reason DSi came out with additional features is because that is all that can really be done. It is safe to say that Gen 5 will be out on the DS. No problem with that.
If the storyline has a main character that does not want to be a trainer, then there will be no game. There are plenty of possibilities for a storyline. So, that's not a problem either.

Ok I really hate to say it, but the IDEA of the pokemon is fantastic. The execution on the other hand is lacking, it looks like they got some
cheapo-artists from Mega-man to draw it... If the whole of Gen. 5 looks like that then I'll be severely unimpressed .

Luther Olathes Cheap artist from Megaman? Someone's been living in a box. It looks like a pokemon to me. They've lost the art style that made pokemon appealing to me. And I'm not bashing Megamans artists, but I hold the art of pokemon to higher standards....

Zoroark...doesn't look so appealing to me. Zorua is adorable though. Anyway, I also hope that 5th gen Pokemon don't have that style. It's definitely a Pokemon, but, I dunno, I just liked the way the first generations looked a lot better. And I hope they can come up with better legendaries. I was disappointed with the looks of Dialga and Palkia.
Anyway, Zoroark...I might use it, but I think I'd still prefer Ninetails or Absol over it. Guess we'll just have to wait for tyhe 5th gen games to come out.
I wonder what the 5th gen games are gonna be called...

@Teia: I made a guess as to what they could be called, but no one else has offered any other ideas. My thought is for something totally new, they could call them Sunrise and Nightfall versions. It would be very different from the Color/Metal/Gem theme they have going now, and would be a step in the right direction to me.

Don't have many hopes. The last Gens showed us Lucario, a awesome kangaroo wolf thing and then we get Sinnoh...well now we see this dark fox pokemon and now we got so high hopes. Pokemon still giving ideas and only time can tell how Pokemon set 500 will work. And lets hope its not a DSi game. I have a classic DS and I'm not willing to buy the NEW DSI XL when next year, give or take, THE NEW DSI or something else since the ds only had 2 forums. (DS, DS lite)
