Ni Kishi licked her ear once more and then nuzzled her neck, "you can rest easy here nothings going to harm you and if I have anything to do about it nothing will harm you ever again... also are you still hungry by chance?" he smirked as he leaned slightly up against her.

She nuzzled his neck " no im fine thankyou" and then she lay down to sleep listening to the light pitter patter of the rain that had started back up.

Ni Kishi noded his weary head and nuzzled closer to her to keep her warm, his ears still staying perked as he listend through the night to all the noises not just the pitter patter of the rain but the leaves, and the grass,blowing in the wind.

she woke some time later just before dawn. the rain had stopped and the stars were just starting to disperse. she looked over Ni Kishi was sleeping, careful not to wake him she quietly snuck out of the den in search of something to eat and a small breakfast.

Ni Kishi laid there on his back in the leaves kicking slightly up in the air as if he were chasing something as she quietly snuck out of the den, he soon woke however when he felt the rays of sunlight break threw the horizon he quickly rolled over and sniffed around trying to find her scent, he exited the den and sat up next to his tree watching the sun rise for a moment before making his way into the woods after the girls scent.

she soon came across some rabbit tracks and followed them till she was close then slowly and very quietly made her way forward and then leapt at it killing it swiftly with a bite to the back of its neck. she picked up the big rabbit and made her way back to Ni Kishi's den. getting there she soon realized that he was gone. but figuring she would be back soon she set her kill down and went back out to get a drink at a near by stream. as she got close to the stream she heard a sqirl chewing on a nut and snuck up on it killing it to bring back with her then went and got a drink. she slowly made her way back to his den in hopes he might be back soon.she brought her kills out to the ledge and watched the sun rise the rest of the way.

Ni Kishi had made his way down to the stream to get himself a drink of water and to take a bit of a bath, diving in and surfacing in the cool stream he then turned and made his way back to the shore and back to his den, "ah there you are Maise" he said as he sat next to her.

she startled at his entrance for she had been so off in space. "O " she turned to him and pushed the kills toward him "would you like some?"

Ni Kishi shook his head "no thats alright thank you, please eat them I have plenty stored below in another part of the den, I'm pretty much set for the next few days as far as food goes." he kindly pushed them back to her and smiled licking her cheek to show he ment no disrespect for her hard work. he'd just been so use to surviving on his own.

she frowned a little she had only caught so much cause she figured he would be hungry she didnt like killing something and then having it go to waiste. but she started to eat the rabbit." its ok" she said trying to smile a little.

Ni Kishi then quickly sliped into his den only to quickly come back out "um... I think I will take you up on your offer, seems my storage room was raided again by something..." his tummy then rumbled softly remindng him he hadn't eaten yet this morning.

Ni Kishi crunched down into the dead creatures body and munched on it intently as he filled his stomach.

Finishing her meal she cleaned her face and paws hen lay daown next to Ni Kishi.

Ni kishi finshed his meal quickly and laid down next to her asthe sun was now moving into a Higher position, he yawn a bit still not awake shaking his head.
