 [Leopardkit noticed that Fathom looked sad for a moment, and guessed he was thinking about StarClan rejecting him. She touched her tail tip to his shoulder in understanding. She scarcely heard his compliment.] "Th-hanks, Fathom." [Leopardkit was surprised at how nice Fathom was. Maybe he's not so bad, she thought.] "Hey, maybe...we can go hunting together when we're apprentices. That would be fun."

Blackflame padded over to Tanglestar."I'm going hunting just wanted to let you know i'm going to try by the tree where we found her.Okay well bye"Blackflame mewed rushing out of the camp.She soon reached the tree and stopped dead in her tracks their was an unfamiliar smell."W-who's there"Blackflame asked bristling.She glanced up into the tee to see two eyes staring down."Who are you?"she asked the black cat.

[Moonflower padded out of the warriors' den and stretched.] What a beautiful day, [she thought.] All the warriors out hunting or patrolling... all the apprentices hard at work... Fathom and Leopardkit talking... wait. Fathom and Leopardkit? [She padded over to them.] "Hi," [she replied awkwardly.]

"Hi!" [Leopardkit mewed happily. She was surprised at how happy bieng around Fathom made her. She quickly bounded over to Moonflower and touched noses.] "Have you gone hunting? I want to go hunting!" [Leopardkit mewed with a squeak. She saw a leaf drifting down and began stalking it. She waited until it about at her nose level and then leapt up and shredded it in her claws. She looked back toward Moonflower and Fathom, unable to repress a purr.]

Hearts dropped down in an empty nest, sighing with relief. "I never knew a nest could feel so comfy." She purred, ignoring the stares of the other queens. "Pardon me, weren't you the former deputy, Doveflight?" A speckled queen asked. Hearts gave a swift nod. "Yes. Many people call me 'Hearts' these days." she said. the queen looked confused. "why would you give up a perfectly good name?" she asked. Hearts thought for a moment. "well, that's because i-" her mew was cut off, and her eyes went wide as an owl's. She let out a screech of pain. The nearby queens pricked their ears. "She's kitting!" the speckled one yowled into the clearing, trying to keep Hearts a bit more quiet as the queen thrashed about.

 "Hello, Moonflower. Beautiful morning, eh?" Fathom replied. [He watched Leopardkit, amused.] "Why don't we all go hunting? It seems to be good weather for it," Fathom announced to both of his friends.

Blackflame stopped shouting and looked in the other direction and there was the flowers.Blackflame lt out a screech and ran back to camp."Leopardkit Fathom Come here now."Blackflame shouted nervously."I must tell you something"she added.

"Whatever you two do,do not go near the tallest trees the whispering flowers are around there so Tall tree is off limits.okay?"Blackflame mewed.
Treepaw padded up to Blackflame to hear what she had to say.Blackflame wasn't jjust his mentor this was his sister.

"I don't know but they have we mt find a way to destroy them."Blackflame mewed worridely."This is bad hmmm lets try sticking something in them."Blackflame suggested."We could use the sharpst sticks to stick in the flower then the leaves then heres the tricky part the stem."Blackflame mewed brightning."Do you think it will work?"she asked Fathom.

[Leopardkit's eyes widened and then she let out a squeak. She pressed her belly to the ground and closed her eyes. She appeared as if asleep, but then her eyes flew open.] "What if we left them alone? StarClan might send us a message about the cure..." Leopardkit all of a sudden lost feeling in her lges and toppled to the side. She closed her eyes, suddenly tired. She could scent this faint, sweet smell engulfing her...]
