oh I was just thinking.... since Atemu is a whip weapon, it would be cool if he could actually solidify certain parts of the whip- thus being able to block attacks or even to the ability to slash if needed. Just an idea]]

"Impossible? Why? Because you and I have never met? That's the EXACT cause of my pain," Malik said trying to swing at the Pharaoh but his attack was blocked. "While you've been out here enjoying your life you turned your back on my family and I!" he said taking another swing and missing. "You took away my life. And for that I'll take yours. Then I can finally be free," he said being vague. He assumed the Pharaoh knew he had to return to Egypt, to his family. He did not know that the Pharaoh had lost his memories. The more Malik spoke, the more he felt this horrible rage. Both he and Marik felt it, the emotion intensified as it bounced off of both their souls. Malik took another swing at Atemu, this time managing to slice across his chest. He looked up in mid hit revealing demented eyes that both he and Marik wore.

Jonouchi had been hit plenty of times, so he didn't stay down for long. However, he actually stayed completely still. Opening his eyes, he looked up to see that one chick who hit him turn into a weapon, the other used her against his friend. His first instinct was to get up and fight against them. Sure he could use his self as a weapon as Atemu was doing, but he couldn't fend them off. For once he was thinking about the situation, maybe that girl actually knocked some sense into him. He couldn't let Yuugi use him as a weapon.... probably the same thing that happened to Tristan and him would happen. Damn it... he had to hope that his re-assigned Meister was still near. Jonouchi got up slowly..... watching the two girls. He still had the impulse to jump in a fight them off. He couldn't bare watching his friend get beaten like that. But if he did it now.... they would kill him and he would be useless. Jonouchi looked at Yuugi, he prayed that Yuugi or Atemu did not think he was abandoning them. And with that, he ran off- desperately looking for his meister.

Once down Akiko let Spirit turn back into her dog form. Spirit continued to growl and bark. She then ran off in that direction.

"Hey wait Spirit!" she said running after her dog. Her dog never did this! "Hey! Sit! Stay! Heel! Spirit what is wrong!?" she commanded her dog but it did not work.

Jonouchi couldn't call out for her name- incase one of those girls could hear him. They probably think that he was running off, saving himself. Jonouchi was not that kind of person. He was certainly coming back.

Spirit turned a corner and finally saw a familiar person. With Akiko directly behind her she ran toward Jonouchi. She could tell he was one of the people in trouble, however that didn't stop her from biting Jonouchi in the calf. She couldn't help it, she was still mad at the boy for treating her master the way he did.

"OWWWW!!!! GOD DAMNIT!!!!" Jonouchi said failing around with the dog still attacked to his leg. "GET THIS DAMN DOG OFF OF ME!!!!" Jonouchi screamed.

"Jonouchi?" Akiko said as she stopped. Was her dog going berserk over him? Over him being a jerk to her? Akiko growled at Jonouchi and yelled, "JONOUCHI STOP DOING THAT TO MY DOG!!!!" She then followed up with a chop to his head. "Come here Spirit," she said kneeling down and opening her arms to her dog. Spirit ran back to her and wagged her tail.

Jonouchi rubbed his head for a second, god he couldn't stand that dog.... He then shook his head, he couldn't screw around right now. He looked back at Akiko seriously and said, "Akiko, I need your help."

"Hmmm funny how that works..." Akiko said trying to be apathetic but deep down she was wondering what was wrong.

Jonouchi couldn't waste time like this! He went up to her and put his hands on her shoulders. He then got close to her face and begged, "Look! I don't care how much you hate me! Yea I probably deserve it. But this isn't about you and me right now. My friends are in danger! Two meister and weapon partners are attacking my friends right now for no reason! Please!" Jonouchi bit his lip, if she said no he didn't know what would happen. "Please..... I need your help. I can't do this alone...." he said.

Akiko froze as Jonouchi begged her for her help. There really was no reason for her to say no. The only reason why she froze was because she was reminded of her friends. Not only that, but she saw something in Jonouchi's eyes. Loyalty, a very tight bond between he and his friends. She couldn't dwell on this, she knew the answer was yes- she would have to think about the details later.

Spirit went back to snarling and freaking out in the direction in which Jonouchi came.

"Spirit has been detecting it this whole time...." she said to herself. She looked back into Jonouchi's eyes. "Let's go," she said agreeing to it. They weren't too far, but they had to get there quick!

Usually Maka would call, but they weren't that far. And since they were going back to the academy, it was just easier to see him directly. They walked to the gate they used to get to Domino City to go back home.

"Kidd..... if you are done here..... there is a messenger outside. He wants us to go to the academy to see your father," she said trying to stay calm. She hoped he was done with his stupid routine. "Let's just go.... shall we?" she said.

((Wow. This is a short post. o.o I want to give Akiko time to save Yuugi and Atemu. That only seems fair since I put Yuugi through so much torment.))

Atemu sharpened his whip to make it sharper and stared at Malik. "Listen. I don't know who you are." said Atemu bluntly. "If we were supposed to meet, I wouldn't remember. I have lost my memories." explained the former pharaoh. He didn't want to kill Malik, but he had to defend himself. He went in for an attack. He noticed the hatred and demented look in Malik's eyes. "You're wasting your hatred on me. I am not your enemy." he explained. He slashed at Malik, hoping to convince him to stop attacking for no reason. "We can talk this out like reasonable men." suggested Atemu with a heavy sigh. There was a slash across his chest that showed Malik was serious. Why? The two had never met. There was no reason for them to be enemies.

It was no surprise that Yuugi didn't notice Jounouchi leaving. He was too focused on making sure Lerena didn't get what she wanted.

"What?! He's gone!" said Lerena, shocked. She looked away for only a brief moment, but that was enough time for Yuugi to change his mind.

He wasn't tall enough to punch her out, but maybe he could show her he wasn't one to take pain in huge amounts. He punched her in the gut and then gave her a roundhouse kick.

Lerena fell onto the ground on her side. This caused Renoko to fall out of her hands. The paved roads was enough to cut up her arm. She got up and glared at Yuugi. "Interesting!" she said with a smirk. "You've gotten serious now, but why did you wait until I was distracted?"

"Don't get me wrong. I don't want to give you what you want, but I refuse to let you push me around." remarked Yuugi. He punched her again, but this time his attack was blocked.

"So you gave me a wound. Big deal." Lerena retorted angrily. "You still won't beat me. You're too weak." she remarked. She didn't want to fight someone who refused to die, but on the other hand, she didn't like a total weakling. She liked a challenge every now and then. She picked up Renoko and prepared herself to attack Yuugi again.

He was already badly injured. Blood covered his body, because this witch was ruthless. Very ruthless. He got into a defensive stance. If he had to fight, he'd go down with honor if need be.

Kid nodded and followed Liz outside of his house. He saw the messenger. "What does Father want with me?" he asked the messenger. "Is it important?"

Maka appeared on the other side and walked towards the entrance to Shinigami-sama's quarters. It was indeed easier to see him directly instead of wasting a call. She made her way down the hallway to meet with him. She knocked on his door to signify that someone wanted to see him.

Finally the three arrived back at the scene. He ran as fast as he could, but he could tell both of his friends were feeling the strains of battle. "Oi!" he called out to get their attention. He pointed at Lerena and Renoko, "I don't know what's wrong with you two but there is no way I'm going to let you hurt my friends!"

Akiko stopped when Jonouchi did. Her eyes widened. His friends weren't fighting a kishin egg, like she innocently thought. Or something of that sense. Rather, it was a fight between meisters and weapons. "What the hell is going on....?" she murmured to herself. Spirit was on the verge of jumping into the battle by herself. She bared her feral teeth and her fur was pointed up. "Spirit...." Akiko said holding out her hand. Spirit changed into her weapon form- Akiko held her in her right hand. Akiko looked over at Jonouchi, "Let's go," she said waiting for Jonouchi to change.

Jonouchi nodded and changed into his weapon form, landing in Akiko's left hand.

The instant Jonouchi landed in her left hand, she felt an intense pain shoot up her arm- like electricity. Within that second, Akiko yelped and let go of him, "Mother f......!!!" Her left hand shook for a few seconds from the pain.

Jonouchi turned back into his human form on all fours. He stood up and yelled, "The hell!?"

Akiko yelled back at him, "God damn it Jonouchi you're worthless!" She tried to hold back a few tears from the initial shock. She pointed at brawl between Atemu and Malik, "If you want to help, go help him back there! I can still fight with Spirit."

Jonouchi had no room to argue at the moment. He had to trust her and do as she said. He stayed in his human form however all along his arms were small blades- like his bladed fan form. With that he ran past the two girls and attempted to help Atemu against Malik.

Akiko walked toward Lerena and Renoko, but kept plenty of room between herself and this meister. "I'll give you one chance, walk away from this. Or I'll attack you," Akiko said in a much more serious voice then she usually used. As she spoke she flipped the bladed fan in her hand from time to time- as well as making the blades fold and unfold. She had already seen what these two girls did to Yuugi. He was in bad shape. She kept herself focused though, if she thought about it too much she would become too emotional and lose her sync. She wasn't emotional because it was him, she barely knew the student. She was empathetic to the demented situation. And faintly, it reminded her of her friends.

Malik paid no mind to Jonouchi or anybody else. He was completely focused on his fight with Atemu. "Poor excuse!" Malik called out as he hooked Atemu in the jaw. "Don't blame it on your memories! Even without them your instincts and destiny should have kept you on track. It was told! Passed down! You simply don't care you selfish ******** b*****d!" Malik yelled taking another swing. He did not believe this man. He knew he had no memories, because Malik was the one who held them. But how can generation after generation of tomb keepers be wrong about destiny bringing him to them one day? No, Atemu knew what to do, the ******** simply did not choose to follow his path.

"Malik..... you talk too much...." Marik said from within his weapon. Marik then pushed his soul into Malik's, trying to make his the more dominant soul. Some say that some weapons have done this to try and gain control of the meister. It was much easier for Marik to do this since he used to be Malik's yami. Of course, if he did it too much, he ran a risk of consuming Malik's soul entirely. Such a thing might have been acceptable when they shared a body, but he even admitted that he needed Malik. He needed someone to wield him as a weapon.

The effects of Marik pushing his soul into Malik's was almost like those of possession. He could control Malik's mind but not his body. He could only influence his body to an extent. He made Malik stay quiet and focus on the battle. Doing so allowed him to attack more often and more precisely. This also raised there power ever so slightly. Malik attacked very straight forward and precisely. When there was an opening, he took advantage of it either with his weapon or with his own fist. He could not use Soul strike like BlackStar or Dr. Stein could- but that was fine.

Jonouchi ran up behind Malik and hooked his arm using the blade on his arm to slice his back. He then thrust kicked him knocking him down on his knees and hands. "You know, you're a real scum bag! Splitting up a weapon and meister so you have the upper hand! You must be really weak or very cowardly! Or perhaps both," he shouted at Malik. He looked over at Atemu, he was just as wrecked at Yuugi. "Are you ok man? Don't worry, I'm here to help you," he said getting into a fighting stance.

Malik didn't even sense Jonouchi behind him. He shouted when he was sliced across the back then kicked down. He got up slowly and then turned to face them both. "I'll kill you both," he said darkly with what it seemed two voices. It was both his and Marik's voice in sync since Marik was controlling him. And with that Malik dashed up to Jonouchi and used the back of his axe handle to bash Jonouchi's forehead.

The blow caused Jonouchi to fall back and bleed from the blow. "AH GOD DAMN!!!" Jonouchi yelled. He sat up and got back up slowly. "You're going to regret that...." he said.

"You're father would want to see you in the Soul room. He wants to show you something. And yes, it's important," the messenger said as he turned and walked toward the school, expecting all of them to follow.

Patty stood up and put her hands up in the air, "Yay! We're doing something other then sitting here!!!" she cheered happily as she followed them all to the academy.

"I wonder what it is," Liz said now a little curiously as the three followed the messenger. Once there, they continued to the door to the Soul Room. There they saw Maka and Soul. "Oh hey," she greeted them. "Did Shinigami-sama summon you two as well?" she asked.

Soul turned around to see Kid and his weapons. "Hey," he greeted back. He looked back at the door for a second as it opened. "Naw, we were just going to report to Lord Death about a kishin egg that was just got. Why? What did he summon you guys for?" he said nonchalantly.

The doors opened allowing all of them in. Shinigami-sama turned around and bounced for a second, "What's up what's up?" He then looked at Kid and said, "Hello son, glad you finally got my call." He then looked at Maka and Soul and said, "I don't believe I called you two here, what is it?"

"Just letting you know that me and Maka bagged that Benedict dude," Soul said.

"Hmmm. Interesting. Well since you two are already here you might as well stay. Kid, I wanted to show you something," Shinigami-sama said as he turned around and made an image show up on his mirror. It was the battle happening between Malik's group and Atemu's group. It displayed to them live as if they were their watching it.

"Are those meisters and weapons fighting!?" Liz exclaimed shocked. This wasn't like the fight between Kid, Soul, and Blackstar that one time- this was a serious blood lust brawl.

"You have no right to know what's wrong with me!" Lerena shouted at Jounouchi angrily. She heard Malik's screams and she pressed her palm against her forehead. A devastating flashback appeared in her head. She remembered what those witches back then did to her back. It hurt. Akiko's serious tone snapped her back to reality. She turned back to look at her new opponent. Yuugi was badly hurt, but she had no concern for him. If she had to hurt an innocent soul to relieve her sadistic cravings, so be it. "Renoko. We have a new opponent. What do you make of this atrocity?" she asked. She jammed the mace into Yuugi's stomach until it created a hole through his back. A huge amount of blood squirted onto her clothing and skin and she cackled madly. "It's so beautiful! So beautiful!" she announced.

Yuugi let out a terrifying scream and fainted from loss of blood.

Good. She could focus on the person who was her new opponent. Instead of fighting her now, she decided to try grossing her out. If she could cause Akiko to get out of sync, defeating her would be easier. Akiko was not her target so she did not desire a challenge from her.

"Such beautiful colors." Renoko remarked as she observed Yuugi's situation. Blood continued to spill from his stomach, but she could not express her amusement now.

"Who are you to question the way of things? I wish to revolutionize the world and gain power." stated Lerena, a devilish cackle erupting from her chest. She was acting very much like a witch right now. If she didn't have Soul Protect on, she would be very recognizable as what she was. She was a born witch. How could she not have sadistic tendencies? "I do have a sense of justice even if you disagree." said Lerena. "Don't you enjoy hearing the tears of the defenseless? They never make an attempt to make themselves stronger." Lerena said harshly. She twiddled with a strand of her hair and tilted her head slightly to one side. A playful smile appeared on her features. "Why won't you mind your own business? You didn't seem too concerned about us until that blonde ran to get you. I know you were nearby. Isn't it meaningless to have a pathetic weapon without any use? I wonder, I wonder. What was Shinigami-sama thinking when he paired you two up? If you two aren't in sync, he needs a better Meister." explained Lerena. She pointed her spiked mace at Akiko. "I am willing to fight you if that will teach you not to interfere with business that is not yours."

Atemu breathed heavily as he was wounded. He grabbed his arm on instict and smiled sadly at Jounouchi. His Meister was out, but he had no strength to protect him right now. He was being attacked by someone who was crazy, insane. "Jounouchi, be careful!" he advised. He prepared himself for a slash on Malik's gut.

Maka was shocked at what she was seeing. "Why would weapons and Meisters fight?" she asked. "There must be a reason behind their actions. We have to help them see to reason." The display of Yuugi Mutou on the screen was frightening to her. How much was this girl capable of? What was her motive to fight against students of Shibusen?

Kid's expression darkened into something serious. "Do you want me to go and stop them? We can't allow students to fight amongst themselves like this." he remarked. "They'll destroy the good symmetry!" explained Kid with a more horrified expression at the thought. This was more serious than he was taking it. His fight with Blackstar and Soul was fairly ridiculous. There was no challenge there. He was clearly victorious. He wondered why the groups were fighting. The attacking group was outnumbered. The appropriate punishment would be given to the four involved in the attack. It was a grave mistake to attack other students of Shibusen.

[[second time writing this....... I'm am so ******** pissed off right now.....]]

"Stop it!" Akiko yelled out after Lerena struck Yuugi again. It shook her a little, this woman. But if she thought about it for too long, she would lose her focus. She calmed herself slightly and said seriously, "Attacking and taking the souls of innocent people will turn your soul into a kishin egg. You will revolutionize nothing." Although Akiko seemed to not be phased by her words, they stirred her soul and twisted her stomach. But she was already very good at hiding her true feelings. "No, I don't," she said with slight disgust in her tone, "it just makes me angrier toward the offender."

"You don't know of my concerns or thoughts, so don't assume," she snipped at her. Her eyes glinted slightly when Lerena mentioned Jonouchi. It was still a delicate subject to her on top of everything else that was happening. "All I need is one good loyal weapon. You can ask Shinigami-sama that when I send you two to him!" she shouted as she swiped the mace away from her. Her fan folded to a single blade as she spun around and tried to thrust her blade to Lerena. She wasn't aiming for her guy, rather for her side. She missed however, so she went with her momentum and somersaulted. Once back up on her feet she turned around and launched at Lerena again, this time jumping up and unfolding her fan. She was going to slash at her this time.

Now he had to deal with too weapons. Malik tried to stop and stratagize but Marik refused to let him stop.

"Don't think, just do!" Marik commanded him as he pushed to take more control over Malik.

Malik felt Marik take more control over his body. He let him, because if he fought it he would be vulnerable to the Pharaoh and his idiot friend. He ran to both of them and started to swing away, becoming less precise but much more quicker. However, he managed to hook Atemu again and slice Jonouchi twice.

Jonouchi had to use his blade to defend himself while he could only attack by punching and kicking. Which was fine because he was a fighter after all. Luckily, the blades of the fan went from his elbow to the middle knuckles. So if he landed a punch, he could puncture his enemy. After the second strike from Marik, Jonouchi grabbed Malik's weapon and pulled him toward him. He used his free hand to punch Malik in the stomach, the blade pierced through into his stomach.

Malik barely made a noise when he was pierced. Instead his eyes glinted and turned mad. He regained balance, sifted his weight back, and pulled his weapon back- causing him to slice Jonouchi's side deeply. From there he changed positioned, swung his weapon back, then swung with all his might at Atemu again. He managed to slice him in almost the same exact spot on his chest as before. This time however, a whole lot more deeper.

Jonouchi screamed out when he was sliced. He stepped back and attempted to touch his new wound. His hands shook from pain. He looked back at Malik and growled heavily, "You will pay for that....."

"I agree with Maka, we have to go and stop them," Soul said. This was madness! Why would any student want to attack another student? Unless they had a personal vendetta against someone and had no regard for the laws of the school. Sure he was a trouble maker but he wasn't about to attack a student from the school for the sheer bloodlust of the fight. Even his, BlackStar, and Kid's fight was nothing like this. That was a skirmish, this was a god damn war.

Shinigami-sama raised his hand in the air and said, "Now now, I'm not about to send anymore students out there to get hurt. And Kid, if you go, they will certainly know that I know. And I want to avoid giving them as much information as possible. The less they know, the better," he said. It was a hard decision to come to, but it was the best. "Now that somebody else arrived to stop this, perhaps this can all come to an end," he added having faith in his students.

What were the attackers after? He had always had a strange feeling about Lerena. He couldn't pin point it but he let it be. Afterall, she wanted to attend the school with her sister Renoko. If they were after human souls, they wouldn't need the school to sharpen their skills- the two girls were already very synced and could easily take all the human souls they wanted. No, there was another reason for their attack, but it was unknown at the moment.

Marik and Malik on the other hand was much more shocking then the girls. Even though Shinigami-Sama saw that there souls were very..... spiteful, he did not think they would do something like this. Although they were not a mystery as to why. Before the others came to the Soul Room, he over heard Malik's 'conversation' with Atemu. But no matter what, it was still against the rules to take an innocent soul- especially if they are a student of the school.

"Kid, if things don't get any better, I will have to send you to stop this," he said. He could not let students of the school die, no matter what.

"What? That's it?! That's bull. Why wait until things get worse!? Does someone have to die before anybody can step in?" Soul shouted purely angry that he couldn't do anything to stop this.

"Do you lack faith in your fellow class mates?" he replied to Soul.

"They are out numbered and clearly these attackers are demented," Soul answered.

((I'd like a few changes to that picture you were creating of Lerena. It seems ridiculous to just state that now, but the color of the gloves doesn't go well with her outfit ._. Not only that, but the boots look better being dark purple. And the skin color should be more of a light peach rather than pale. I feel silly bringing this up.

I do the same thing with my own art; I decide something else looks better. The colors I chose go together for the most part, but the skin color is still too light. And the gloves should be black. I wish I wasn't just telling you this. It looked fine ages ago. Let me explain why I think the changes should happen.

Lerena's skin color: It's too much like a vampire's. She's supposed to be human. >.>;

Lerena's boots: They blend into the background too much and need something to make them show up more.

Lerena's gloves: I can't decide on which color I want these.

If I had a more visualized picture of these colors together, I wouldn't have described them the way I did. It was fine a month ago, but it just recently bothered me. ~head-desks~ I feel like one of those people who want everything to be perfect, then change their mind a week later about a decision they made. Anyway, is it still possible to make these changes?

And it's the second time writing that post? Damn. I would be pissed too.

NOTE: I'm not sure how the process of creating a kishin egg works. I just made something up. >.>))

"It's not really intelligent for you to send only me and Renoko to Shinigami-sama. You really have no idea why I'm doing this, do you? It's a favor of some sort, but that's all I'm going to say." Lerena remarked with a flip of her hair. She grunted when Akiko made a slash at her gut. She grabbed it and released a loud sigh. "You think I'm going to change into a kishin egg with just one kill?" she growled. This was far from true. Murders had to happen frequently for one's soul to become a kishin egg. It had been years since she murdered. Her soul was safe and so were the souls of Malik and Marik. She knew the argument she'd give to Shinigami-sama when he saw her. No doubt he'd believe her. It was the truth, but it was her past that changed her into such a demented person. Since she was a witch, she couldn't keep the same positive attitude that a regular human would. "You know nothing, girl." Lerena remarked with a slight glare present in her eyes. Blood was covering her palm. "You wish to protect this boy?" she asked.

Renoko materialized into her human form, legs in the air with hands pressed to the concrete ground. Her legs spred out and came down. She brought her legs together and stood upward. With a hand on her hip, Renoko said, "How do you know that this boy is innocent?" she remarked darkly. She seemed unphased by the fact she was knocked out of Lerena's hands. Deep inside, however, she was angry at such an insult. How dare she be separated from her sister! They had a bond that was unshakable! They were better than Yuugi and Atemu. Their lives meant nothing to her. All they were to her was a piece of disposable trash. She looked to Yuugi's unconscious body and smirked. "I will hurt the boy if you attack my sister any further." she promised with a smirk. The boy was already in bad shape. Not even his final heartbeats could satisfy her. The way she saw it, only weak souls turned into kishin eggs. If murder was going to change their souls, it would have already happened. It took more than just a sadistic and murderous nature to change the soul. Her fingernails changed into pointed spikes and she brought them to Yuugi's heart. She didn't want to kill him with an outside source being able to tell on her, but pain was a necessity for all living creatures. If this didn't kill him, it would better his heart and soul. She also had an excuse to tell Shinigami-sama when they arrived in his soul room. She would protect her Meister, because she was important to her.

Atemu let out a scream and put a hand to his new wound. It took only a momentary look at Yuugi, but he was worried for his Meister. Malik and Marik seemed hell-bent on destroying Yuugi and himself. Why? What was so horrible that Malik had a grudge on someone he didn't even know? He tried to escape and run to Yuugi's side. "Yuugi!" he shouted. Those girls harmed his Meister quite badly. He was no worse than him. "Stop this madness!" he told Malik. "Harming others for your own gain is selfish!" commented Atemu. He found it unbearable that Renoko was putting Yuugi on the line just so her Meister wouldn't get hurt.

None of them understood her motives! The only person she could trust was Renoko. Even Malik, who was supposedly her friend now, had his own reasons for causing harm to these students. They were not attacking Atemu and Yuugi out of blind rage. There was a reason that Malik wanted Yuugi out of the way. His target was Atemu. Something that weapon did caused Malik to hold a grudge. Come to think of it, she could relate to such a thing. What pain had he felt in his life? She felt her wound again and glared at Akiko. "You think these boys are innocent? That's impossible, because that weapon over there has committed a horrible crime. I'm not sure what that is, but I wouldn't be attacking this boy if he wasn't an accomplice!" retorted Lerena. She couldn't use her magic right now, but she really wanted to. It would be a lot more fun. Magic was hated by everyone and that was why she held so much hatred. She hated so much, because she lacked the freedom to do as she pleased. Perhaps she wouldn't be so sadistic and hateful if the world was more accepting of what she was and her abilities. Nonetheless, she was proud to be a witch. She just wished that Shinigami-sama didn't make her kind the hunted. Sure, most of her kind deserved it, but there were some fairly decent witches out there. She was one of them. Her feelings were mixed. She was confused right now. What was the purpose of her attacking Yuugi and not taking his life when she had the chance? Was she becoming soft?

"Lerena." said Renoko softly. "Remember what we're doing. Don't second-guess yourself!" she ordered darkly. She hated when Lerena got into these thoughtful moods. She often thought of how she related to others in them. Plus, it distracted her from her goals. She knew Lerena. Something about Malik's motives was causing her to question her actions. Perhaps she felt manipulated or perhaps she was reminded of her past. Maybe her defenseless position from long ago stirred some bad memories from within her. Regardless, she could not forget what was important. She had to be proud of the fact she was a witch and not let her past get to her.

Renoko's words brought her back to reality. She wanted this fight to stop now. Too many people were getting in the way, but it seemed that Marik was bent on continuing this battle. Plus, she told Akiko she was willing to put up a fight. Her powers would be a double-edged sword. Not only could she beat Akiko with them, it would cause her to become Marik's new target. That was out of the question. Her only hope was disarming Akiko.

Sensing her suffering, Renoko found it difficult to carry out her threat. She had to become a weapon for her Meister again. Would she be able to? Akiko would likely attack her if she tried to move. She had the power as long as she remained where she was. Yet her Meister was in danger. Because she was a witch, she had powers, but because of this simple fact, she could not use them. Renoko so desperately wanted to fight as Lerena's weapon. She wanted to save Lerena from any additional harm. She could tell her sister was in pain, but there was no point in anyone else seeing that. The only person that Lerena could trust was her. Everyone else was a potential traitor and everyone else would cross her. The way she saw it, Malik would eventually betray Lerena's trust. He probably had ulterior motives for having Lerena attack Yuugi. Yet, like the bloodthirsty killers she and Lerena was, they took the bait. What if the fight was fated to end now? She glared at Akiko, ready to hurt Yuugi if the need be.

Maka thought over the situation logically. The way she figured it, the four attackers would lose. Her ability to trust her classmates was high, compared to Soul's. However, she still detested the idea of letting this continue. She just couldn't go against Shinigami-sama's orders. She trusted him.

Kid nodded. "Understood, Father." The attackers were destructive, but didn't all criminals have motive? Didn't they all have a clear goal in mind? Not all of them attacked in blind rage and fury. The ones who did were the first to turn into kishin eggs. Other conditions came into play before a kishin egg could be created. If it was that easy for them to be created, every person and their mom would turn into one. However, murder was where it started.

[[you're very lucky- I save the unflattened versions of these picture. But usually when I'm done with a pic I delete the unflattened pictures. I never recycled my recycling bin :3 because trying to adjust these pictures flattened was close to impossible (for the boots at least).

I'll fix the boots and skin, but I need a color for the gloves. Maybe the same color as the boots?

yea, someone has to commit a lot of crimes to become a kishin egg.... I believe. Devouring a lot of innocent human souls is a big one. Then if a kishin egg isn't stopped, they turn into a kishin (which is an even stronger evil being- the school is preventing kishin from being born again). I dunno if witches can become kishin though. HOWEVER I do remember that witches don't like kishin either- because I think kishin's hunt them too (ex: Alcopon's group after the little witch in episode 2). And yes you are right, there are stages to becoming a kishin egg (ex: Crona). ]]

"You're on your way to becoming one if you start here," Akiko said. Akiko backed up to wait to see what Lerena was going to do next. Akiko wasn't aiming to kill this girl, not even really to hurt her badly. Just to get her to stop. Somehow. She didn't know what to do to get her to just stop. And in truth, she didn't want to inflict a lot of damage to her. But even these logical thoughts were overridden when she was angered enough. And what angered her were memories she buried a long time ago. "I wish for you to stop this. Why you're doing this doesn't matter to me- it's still wrong," Akiko said.

Akiko looked over at Renoko who changed back into her human form. "Because I can see souls," Akiko replied, "And if you are insinuating that nobody is purely innocent, I know that. Nobody has a spotless soul. Not you, not me, not him, nobody. But we only bring judgment to kishin egg souls, anything else is forbidden. As Shibusen student's you should know that." Akiko watched cautiously as Renoko walked over to Yuugi. She pointed her spiked fingernails at his heart, threatening her not to move. Akiko wasn't stupid, she wasn't going to take it as a bluff. To show she was not going to move, she let Spirit change back into her animal form.

Spirit sat by her side, staring at Renoko like a looming statue. She did not growl or bare her teeth. She just watched with quiet vicious eyes, waiting to unleash her fury if needed.

"So what ever he did was wrong and you all killing is perfectly fine? So is it ok for me to kill you all if you kill these two? Is that fair?" Akiko spoke sarcastically but with a slightly dark yet calm tone. "What give you the right to decide who lives or die? Did Lord Death give you that right? I don't think so," Akiko said starting to get angrier. She felt her insides boil inside, but her eyes showed pain. Everything reminded her of her friends. Everything reminded her of the reason they weren't here anymore. They were like her family. Her self told lies were becoming harder and harder to believe. "Died in vein..... they were my family....." she mumbled to herself. Control was slipping slowly away from her. But if she moved now, Renoko would probably kill the boy. "God have mercy on your meister if you dare even p***k him," she said looking at Renoko with mad eyes. Her temperament was changing because she couldn't control herself as well as before.

"Your fight is with me!" Malik shouted at Atemu as he punched him in the same spot as his wound. Once Atemu was backed away and hopefully concentrated on him again. "You should be one to talk about selfishness. Maybe if you weren't so selfish you wouldn't be watching your mesiter's death!" he yelled. He then looked over at Renoko and Lerena who were prolonging things. This wasn't just Malik anymore, this was him with Marik's influence. He pointed at Renoko and yelled at her with both his and Marik's voice, "What the hell are you waiting for? Kill the son of a b***h already!" Malik then closed his eyes tightly for a moment. "Marik...... back off already......." he said to his weapon. Though he was in agreement with his weapon, he was starting to control him too much. Not only that, but it was actually starting to hurt. It felt like pins and needles all through out his body.

"Malik, if you ******** this up, you'll pay dearly. Trust me, you'll pay," Marik kissed at him through his weapon.

"Marik.....god damn it it hurts! Stop it!" Malik yelled at his weapon. The more he kept his soul in his and pushed more, the more it hurt. Marik's determination was getting in the way. If he just calmed down he could do this! Why didn't he let him just do this?!

While Marik and Malik were 'confronting' each other, Jonouchi took the opportunity to attack. Jonouchi made the blades disappear as he launched at Malik and elbowed him in the face. He then managed to grab his weapon again and get it out of his hand.

When Marik was thrown out of Malik's hands he landed on all four. He took no time to get back up and form half of the axe blade on his wrist. From there, he launched up and chopped Jonouchi's back with his blade.

Jonouchi let out a horrifying scream along with some obscenities.

After Malik stepped back a bit from the blow of the hit he glared at Jonouchi. He then came back and punched Jonouchi in the facee, "Stupid ********>" he yelled. Not only was the elbow blow painful, but seperating him and Marik was just as painful as ripping an organ out of his body since Marik was overtaking so much of Malik's soul.

Akiko closed her eyes for a moment when she heard Jonouchi scream. She opened them back up, she couldn't keep her eyes off Lerena or Renoko for a moment. Hang in there Jonouchi she thought to herself.

Soul growled to himself. He looked at Maka and said, "Maka, you have to agree with me." Soul couldn't help it, he wasn't one to sit around and wait for things to get worse.

"Such passion is admirable. But this is not one of those situations you can just bust into. Doing so may put more people in further danger," Shinigami-sama said to Soul.

[[damn, I'm still trying to figure out what the hell Akiko actually IS. Obviously she's not completely human since she has that tail. When I originally made Muse (Akiko in this story), I just drew the tail cause I thought it was cute. Now I'm regretting it because I want there to be a meaning for it and I don't want to get rid of it @__@ I'm thinking of doing something with Charon, who is the ferryman of the river styx. I think.... I need to read more about it.

EDIT: Been reading more, I think I might make her related to Charon, somehow. Probably father.... not sure. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grim_Reaper#Hellenic this sounded pretty good. Also, this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charon_(mythology)

It's funny though cause almost all descriptions of him are of being an old ugly man XD except for the Greek and few others. Also apparently in the Lightning Thief, on Earth he's kinda good looking >.>

Yea.... I'm thinking too much about this. I don't want her to be super powered or anything, just different. Probably to balance it her mother is human and she doesn't possess any real powers. I dunno @____@ I need advice. ]]

((Make the gloves the same color as the boots. I think that would look the best.

As for Akiko, making her mother human sounds good. If you don't want her to be super-powered, then she shouldn't have any powers. I personally don't mind what you do with her.

I don't know what abilities Renoko should have as a weapon. I'm still thinking about that.

I hope this post is okay. It sort of reminds me of a cop-out. I don't really feel like having Lerena put up a huge fight right now, so I'm having her back out. The good news is that Yuugi is as injured as he's going to possibly get. Injuring him further would probably kill the boy. He has Main Character Syndrome so we can't do that. I think the fight is basically almost over anyhow. Look how much blood was shed.))

"Liar!" screamed Lerena. She was a witch and weapons needed a witch's soul to become a death weapon. Her glare became more fierce as she walked over to Renoko. Whirling around to face Akiko, clear anger showed in her eyes. Akiko's words were mumbled, but she could read her lips. Her eyes widened as she was reminded of the death of her beloved parents. "You can't kill me." Lerena said softly. "They couldn't and neither can you!" she snarled. Malik's screams seemed to add to the painful memories. Why? She was evil. She cared for no one, but Renoko! "Renoko, these memories...they burn like it did back then..." she confessed. She was holding her head and had her eyes closed for a brief moment.

"This isn't your business to interfere in!" Renoko retorted angrily. She pressed her long, claw-like nails into Yuugi's heart, but dared not tear it out. She stood up and looked at Lerena. "Sister. It's alright. I'll protect you." promised Renoko gently. She put a hand over Lerena's and materialized into her spiked mace.

Gripping her weapon once more, Lerena looked down at Yuugi's pathetic corpse. Surely he'd die since his heart was punctured. Her eyes seemed lifeless as she fully remembered the deaths of her parents. "This life isn't fair." Lerena said darkly. "Innocent people will suffer, whether I do that deed or not." she added. She walked slowly over to Akiko, but kept a reasonable distance between them. "You've lost something important, haven't you? So has the person I'm killing this boy for." explained Lerena. "While I don't know the details, humans don't wish death on just anyone. They need motive. Those willing to kill their family and friends...those people would turn into kishin eggs far sooner than I. I treasure my friends and I treasure the last of my family members."

"Lerena?! What are you doing?! Don't tell this foolish girl of your past! She doesn't understand the pain of loss, of freedom. She doesn't understand anything!" shouted Renoko.

Atemu took this moment to escape. Malik and Marik were both occupied by his friend Jounouchi. "Forgive me, Jounouchi." thought Atemu. He walked forward several steps and finally stumbled, falling beside his Meister. "Yuugi!" said Atemu. He was himself very injured, but Yuugi was in worse shape; he was dying. "Yuugi!" he shouted. These girls were very demented. How could they do such a cruel, heartless thing?! To separate a Meister from his weapon...it could hardly be called a fair fight. Jounouchi's Meister was in the middle of a fight against Lerena and Renoko. Seeing holes in locations where his heart was, his eyes were filled with rage. He stood up and sharpened one of his whips. He got close enough, then stabbed Lerena in the back.

"Damnit!" Lerena screamed. The pain in her back was reminiscent of that time her back was carved into. That, and he stabbed through one of her scars. The area he stabbed was sensitive to begin with, because it had been heavily damaged before. "So you finally escaped Malik's attention, did you?" asked Lerena darkly. "It may be too late for your Meister. Don't worry. You can join him." said Lerena icily.

"This is bad!" Renoko remarked. "We can't have him attacking us! This is Malik's target."

"He wouldn't have attacked me if you didn't puncture his heart." Lerena retorted.

"I only did that, because someone was impatient!" Renoko shot back.

Right. Marik did demand that Renoko kill Yuugi already, didn't he? Now Yuugi would die quicker, because his heart had a few holes in it. She merely sighed. She was tired of this fight, but she couldn't necessarily just walk away like nothing happened. She breathed heavily and backed away. She walked away from Atemu and Akiko like Yuugi meant nothing to her, which he didn't. She made herself move closer until she was close enough to communicate with Malik. It wasn't like she cared about her agreement with Malik or anything. She just wanted to tell the other attackers that Yuugi was taken care of. "Yuugi has been taken care of. I advise to the both of you that we leave now." Lerena explained darkly. "We're both injured and I'm tired as ********, Malik." she added.

Finally, she looked to the blonde. "You truly are a fool." Lerena remarked. "To think that you can defeat us. You have guts, but I doubt anything else redeems you, worthless weapon." she shot at him. Why did she care about telling Malik to leave? The chances he'd listen were very slim. Whatever. If he didn't listen, she'd leave him be. It wasn't her business what he did. "The boy's heart has been punctured. Let's consider this a mission well completed and come back for your victim later." she suggested, trying to make Malik and Marik both see to reason.

What?! She just ignored his presence! Why wasn't she attacking him back?! The chances she would take such a blow so casually...was she running away from the fight?! For what reasons was she leaving? He looked to Yuugi and tried to get him to wake up. He'd have to take his Meister to the nearest hospital for some treatment.

"I do agree with you, Soul. However, we have to abide by Shinigami-sama's orders. Disobeying them could cost us." explained Maka. Unlike some people, Maka actually respected the rules and followed them.

[[Ok, I shall do that then send you the updated version. I'll change Renoko's skin color as well so she's not too light.

Yea, like I don't want her to be like Kid and have all those powers. Maybe it just makes her very good with a multitude of weapons and she's a little bit stronger then average meisters. I want it to mainly explain why her temperment can change so dramatically in situations like this. Charon is known to be a stern and sometimes angry individual.

Nah, it's not a cop out. I think it worked perfectly. They did their job technically. I have a good idea to work with it. Hurrrr main character syndrome XP Dude, the blood shed in this battle was awesome. I was actually shock that I didn't make Akiko get all beaten up- I'm so mean to my own characters XP ]]

Akiko wasn't sure what Lerena meant that her memories burnt like they did then. But Akiko was too angry to figure it out.

Spirit was the first to see Renoko dig her claw into the boy's heart. She instantly stood up and growled viciously at the girl. Her eyes changed to a mad dogs, her fur stood up on her back. The motion was quick, so quick that by the time Spirit attempted to jump at her and bite, she had just materialized into her weapon form. Spirit turned around and jumped toward Akiko, turning into a weapon herself.

Akiko grabbed her weapon and stood in front of Yuugi so that the same thing wouldn't happen. She listened to Lerena, she had guessed correctly that she had lost something. "It doesn't matter," she said then added, "that person will gain nothing for this, they will learn that soon enough." She was still filled with rage and becoming less and less willing to even listen. The only thing that snapped her out of her raged haze was when something wizzed past her and ended up in Lerena's back. She spun around to see Atemu striking Lerena. She put her free hand on his arm that had changed and pushed it away, "Stop!" she commanded him. What was the point? They were leaving. Attacking them may cause them to come back at him. Not only that, but it was pointless. This whole situation was pointless.

Jonouchi stepped back when he was hit. He saw Atemu walk over to be with Yuugi. That was fine, he could handle himself. As long as he kept these two away from each other.

Malik stummbled back a bit. Marik's maneuver before rendered his body weak.

"What are you waiting for you idiot? Attack him! Don't let him run off!" he yelled at his meister.

My body aches, I need to leave now." He would have to explain later why and what happened, but he had to hope this girl would get him out of here. He said it low enough so Marik could not hear.

Marik didn't bother waiting, so he attacked Jonouchi to pass the time. It was much harder to fight an opponent when only in his human form. He was matched with Jonouchi, the only thing that saved that poor boy was the fact that Jonouchi actually was a fighter.

"Let's go back Marik!" Malik shouted at him. "He'll be easy to go after without a meister," he said.

Marik backed away from Jonouchi and licked his blade as it disappeared. "You're lucky this time. Just plain lucky...." he said backing away.

Jonouchi backed away as well when Marik did so. "Shut up you god damn b***h. I'll never forgive you for what you did to my friends. I promise you this, I will get stronger. And I'll take you all down," he threatened them all.

"Whatever," Malik said turning away from the group and leaving them with his group. His arms still shook from the stress his body went through.

"Jonouchi!" Akiko called out, "we need you here...." She said seeing that they were backing off. "We need to get him someplace. Like right now," she said kneeling down and letting Spirit turn back to her animal form. She took off her jacket and put it over Yuugi. She looked at Atemu, "You're going to need to press the cloth against him, if you move him and you're not pressing this he's going to bleed out." She saw that Atemu was still out of it from shock so she yelled at him, "Listen to me!"

"Seems like the fight has ended for now," Shinigami-sama said. "Kid, please meet up with the group, help them bring back the wounded. Liz, Patty, go with him," he said to them. "Maka, Soul, if you were to be so kind and find Dr. Stein and tell him he will be needed," he added. "Also, I want everyone to know this. Do not let these students know of this battle, especially the attackers. If they know you know about this, they may come after you all as well," he said. By the time Kid got to the others, the attackers will be gone by then.

((Are you able to add Lerena's scars to the picture too? I believe only her neck and thigh scars would show up in the image.

It's a short post. Renoko and Lerena could've started some potential conversation though.))

When they were out of earshot, Renoko looked at Lerena seriously. "What was that?" she asked. "That girl is worthless!"

"My apologies. I was just reminded of my past for a split second. You know how I get. Blame...hormones." said Lerena. She was embarrassed to be talking to Renoko about this in front of someone, let alone two men.

"You can't blame everything on hormones." remarked Renoko. "You said you would put up a fight, but your senses were barely being used. To make matters worse, that foolish weapon stabbed you. The only reason he didn't attack you further was because our opponent saved you." Renoko criticized. She sighed. "Lerena, you're better than this. What's up?" she asked.

"I know you criticize me because you care, Renoko, but I don't need you being insensitive right now." Lerena said darkly.

"Lerena. I suffered back then too. You're not alone." said Renoko gently.

Looking to her sister, Lerena asked, "Did you?"

"We are not starting this discussion." retorted Renoko. "The only person you need is me. Don't go looking for anyone who has experienced the exact same thing you have, because I guarantee you, people like that are hard to find." she explained. "Listen, Lerena."

"Renoko. My back...HURTS LIKE ********! SHUT UP." Lerena ordered with a sigh.

"Seriously, I thought your back would be numb to pain by now." said Renoko with a smirk.

"Those twisted jokes change nothing. Did you just...you know what? I think you and I need a break from each other for at least five hours. You're really starting to piss me off." remarked Lerena angrily.

"Maybe it is hormones..." said Renoko thoughtfully.

"See? It must be hormones." said Lerena with a smirk at her sister.

"Wait...you were faking that?!" Renoko asked.

"You are sort of irritating me, but not that bad." said Lerena. "We're siblings. We can't be expected to have a perfect no-fight relationship."

"Which part was irritating you? I'll save your response to my records." Renoko remarked sarcastically.

"Renoko, my back may have been burned long ago, but that's no excuse to say it's immune to pain." Lerena retorted. "Anyway, where's that damn entrance? I can't find it."

"Good point." agreed Renoko. "The entrance should be in this general area." she said, pointing at a random building.

"You really have no idea, do you?" asked Lerena, raising an eyebrow. She looked back at Malik and Marik to ask them the same question. If they were paying attention to her conversation with Renoko, they'd know she was looking for the way back. Hopefully that was all they heard. She didn't mind if they commented on anything Renoko said, but discussing how her back was branded with a large spider was pretty much difficult to explain.

Maka nodded and left to go speak with Dr. Stein. Soul would know to follow her since he was also told to look for him.

"Of course." said Kid seriously. He left the Soul Room and found the entrance to Domino City. With Liz and Patty's help, he'd be able to bring the wounded back for some treatment.

Atemu nodded. "Understood." he said, still worried about his Meister. It was obvious in his eyes that he wanted Yuugi to be okay. His previous rage had settled down and now all he wanted was Yuugi's safety. There was still a chance to save him. He had faith in that fact.

[[yes. actually if you take the picture I made already and add two lines in paint of where the scars would be that would be a great help.

I'm FF'ing a little with the other group]]

Malik and Marik walked behind the girls. Malik was a little too concentrated right now on his pain to hear most of the conversation. Though he did hear a lot about hormones. "Don't blame it on hormones," he said with a small smirk. What did catch his attention was when Lerena mentioned her back being burnt. It brought back memories of his own torment when he was young, when they burnt the secrets of the Pharaoh on his back. Hr groaned a little from pain then said, "Marik....did you really have to go overboard like that?" They continued walking and Malik said, "It's right through here. A way back to Shibusen."

Marik stayed silent the whole way. He was too angry to even speak to his meister. They had him, and he couldn't even keep it together to finish the job on the Pharaoh. The anger still resided in his eyes.

Luckily, Kid and his weapons came for them to help out. They were back at Shibusen and hurrying to get them to Dr. Stein.

Liz took over holding Yuugi since she was so used to holding Kid on her back when he passed out. Patty and Kid watched over Jonouchi and Atemu since they too were both pretty beaten up. They arrived at the infirmary were Dr. Stein was already to take care of them. He asked who needed the most care, Liz said, "He does," referring to Yuugi.

Jonouchi came over to help put Yuugi on the hospital bed. "Yea man, don't worry about me, help him," he said to Stein.

Stein stood there for a moment. "You know I'm not the only doctor. I'll be working on him while someone else looks at you two," he said then grabbed the curtain. "You two go to the beds, everybody else who isn't hurt I'm going to have to ask you to leave," he said and with that closed the curtain so that he could work on the one boy.

Akiko stepped back with everyone else and looked at Jonuchi and Atemu. She didn't say a word, instead she turned around and left the infirmary. What was she supposed to say? 'Sorry you all got banged up, get well soon'? She wasn't in a very good mood at all. She was too emotional to think properly. For one thing, she felt incredibly guilty. She couldn't do anything to prevent further damage to him. That guilt only fed into her pain from her memories. She turned to Spirit and told her to stay there. The dog listened and sat outside of the infirmary as she attempted to walk away from the area.

Liz and Patty walked out with Kid and watched as the one girl started to walk away. "Hey! Where are you going? Aren't you going to wait?" she called out to her.

Soul followed Maka to get Stein. They waited with him until the party was brought here. Once told to get out he left with the others. He couldn't believe the damage they received. It was hard for him to simply not say anything to those people. But he had to try his best to just ignore them and pretend. He looked over when Liz called out to the girl but didn't say anything.

[[I just woke up and wrote this post... I hope it's ok X___x ]]

((I'll do just that then. =3 It seems you're having trouble with Malik and Marik. I'll try to get something started for the four of them.

I was thinking of bringing in an OC villain that threatens not only Shibusen, but the four attackers that tried to kill Atemu and Yuugi. Unfortunately, I can't say I know how to play any of the original villains. My best bet would be Medusa and I haven't analyzed her personality well enough to role-play her. What do you think about this idea?))

Lerena stopped walking and shot him a look. She wasn't sure what kind of look she was giving him. Anger? No. Hate? No. What was it exactly? She turned around in half-embarrassment. Never in her life had she not known how she was feeling. That look was probably ridiculous if she didn't know a name for it. She stepped through the portal back to Shibusen. Soul Protect was still on so no one could tell she was a witch. The only people who knew she was a witch was Malik, Renoko, and herself. Marik was barely trustworthy, if at all. He was completely power hungry. Well, she could relate to that. She would have kept fighting, but something told her it was a good idea to stop. Now that she thought about it, her emotions didn't necessarily take control of her. She was just getting paranoid, like she was being watched. In fact, she had this feeling since she left Shibusen. It was something she normally felt when alone, but not with someone. She was with two humans and one demon. At least, she considered Marik a demon. If he was pissed at his Meister for needing a break, surely he was one.

Anger was in Marik's eyes. That same familiar anger that Lerena had on that day. She remembered it well. No matter how annoyed she got with Lerena, she knew her sister better than anyone. To be perfectly honest with herself, she knew how insensitive she was being from the start of their way back. She just couldn't let Malik and Marik know about Lerena's softer side. Her sister was keeping it well hidden with anger. That's why she was confused when her eyes held no anger when she turned to look at Malik. Was there something in her eyes that showed she had taken offense? No. There wasn't. There was...something else. It wasn't quite noticeable at the moment, but she thought she saw an unfamiliar look she didn't know Lerena was able to have. Until Lerena became aware of it, she probably wouldn't know what it was. Renoko definitely knew Lerena was embarrassed about something, because she looked away pretty quickly. She, too, stepped through the portal, ready to give an explanation to Shinigami-sama about why her Meister was injured, if need be. She wondered what Malik would do about his wounds. His weapon wasn't very sympathetic. More likely than not, he didn't care how injured his Meister was as long as he didn't die. Unlike Marik, she took extreme care to protecting her Meister. Lerena was the only family she had left and she didn't want to lose her either. In actuality, she was the most important family member to her. Losing Lerena would hurt her more than anyone knew. That was her biggest weakness. If it was for Lerena, she'd do anything.

Lerena looked to Malik. "We need to do something about our wounds. The school nurse and Dr. Stein would both be able to tell that these aren't from kishin eggs. Therefore, we're on our own. Shibusen doesn't take kindly to student attacks." she explained. Even though she was partly the cause of all this, what with her interest in taking human souls and all, she still knew the rules of Shibusen like the back of her hand. She knew punishment was awaiting the four of them, but she wasn't sure how bad of one. She wasn't really a trouble-maker until today when Malik suggested her target. For this reason, she only knew the rules, not the penalties. No matter how bored she got, she wouldn't have attacked another student if it wasn't for Malik. He wasn't really at fault either. She had a sadistic streak to her all the same. After all, she was a witch. There just wasn't much damage she and Renoko could do with only the two of them. That's why she would've stayed a good student if she and Malik had never met. She didn't regret it necessarily, but it was sort of silly how this all turned out. She let personal matters become what she thought of as hormone issues. Perhaps paranoia was a problem for her after all, but just because she was paranoid didn't mean she wasn't being watched then and there.

Kid stared at Dr. Stein for a minute to make sure he was serious. When his expression did not change, he left with Liz and Patty. He was a bit concerned for that girl just as much as Liz. She was almost among the casualties and injured.

Maka found their state unbearable to look at. It was depressing. She walked out with Soul, but she really wanted to comfort that boy's weapon. He was injured too, yet seemed more worried about his Meister. It was a reasonable cause to worry too.

Atemu watched Yuugi rest for a moment. He could tell his Meister was fighting to live on. He was called out by a nurse to get his own wounds tended to. He answered her call and left Yuugi's side, putting his full trust in Dr. Stein.

[[Sorry, was away for a while @___@
Yea, I was pretty out of it for a while. I'll try to get on the ball on this post.

If you wanna be Medusa go for it. I can play Dr. Stein, Crona, and Ragnarok when needed. God I love Crona XD Only thing is, I only know about how Crona acts when she is being used by Medusa- I believe she becomes a good character later on. Medusa is kinda like Stein- she's REALLY into experimentation. She wants to also bring Kishin back into the world. She is good at deception. If you would rather bring in your own OC villian, that's fine too. I still wanna be Crona no matter what ^__^

Which ever way you decide, going after the attackers is a good idea. If it is Medusa, she can maybe know Lerena is a which. Would Lerena know that she is a witch too? Medusa could also be very interested in Malik and Marik since she maybe noticed that their souls are very much alike- not like twins. She could tell they were once one and the same. Then I guess she would be interested in Atemu and Yuugi? Meh, why should they get all of the attention? XP

I'm going to split up Marik and Malik. Marik is acting like a mad man right now and would not be the best company. Plus Malik doesn't talk a lot when he is around.]]

Malik stretched his back out, causing multiple cracks in his back to be heard. The soreness all over his body was starting to fade away. He still hurt from the wounds he took though. He looked up to see Lerena look at him. What type of look was that? Well what ever it was she had nothing to say, she turned back around and stayed silent. Whatever. If it was nothing then why was he still thinking about it. Was she mad at him? Like it mattered. "I have supplies in my dorm. You can come back with us," Malik said plainly. He wanted to say the mission was a success, after all, Lerena and Renoko did a great job. But Atemu wasn't dead yet. That was his own fault. Well, that and his weapon's fault. Mainly Marik's fault, dumb a**.

"No," Marik said finally speaking up. He looked at Malik with anger still circling, "You all can fend for yourself. Malik and I have something to discuss."

"What?" Malik said raising an eye brow. "We are hurt, we're going to take care of this first. And I think we owe them that. They did what they were supposed to," Malik argued.

From there, Marik punched his Meister flat in the face, knocking him down on his rear. "Who gives a flying ********! YOU didn't do what YOU were supposed to!!!" he screamed at his meister.

Malik's hand went straight to his face where he was punched. "Me!? What the hell were you doing that whole time?! You're so ******** impatient that you started to drive your own soul into mine! What did you think would happen if you took it too far!?" he yelled back at his weapon. He got back up slowly since he was hurt and faced Marik. "Like I said before, they did what they were supposed to. So we're going to help them out," Malik repeated.

Marik shoved Malik away from him. "What are you getting soft?!" he said stepping forward and shoving him again, "huh? Feel you gotta repay someone? How god damn noble of you. What are you? A god damn knight now?" After the second shove he got into Malik's face and said, "Or maybe your d**k is in a twist for her, huh?"

Malik took hold of Marik by the shirt and pulled him closer, readying himself to fight the b*****d. Malik wasn't a 'nice guy' but he was a lot more respectful then his counterpart. They didn't have to help them, but they did and efficiently. Now Marik just wants to let them fend for their own? That wasn't right, even someone like him could understand that. Of course, what set him off was the vulgar comment about him and Lerena. Marik didn't say it because he thought Malik had feelings for her, he simply did it because Lerena was a girl and he was a boy. Malik was fed up with his god damn mouth. He wasn't in the mood for this bullshit. "You're going to get hurt, ********>" Malik grumbled while he struggled with Marik.

Patty looked down to see the dog had stayed behind. "Puppy!" she exclaimed and bent down to pet it.

Spirit looked up when she was being pet. She wagged her tail and huffed happily for only a minute. She then looked back at the door then laid down, watching it like a hawk. She whimpered while she sighed.

"Hey sis, is the doggy hurt too?" Patty asked.

Liz looked over at her sister. She then looked at the dog and said, "Probably just tired. Not often you see an animal as a weapon."

Akiko didn't know where to go. She couldn't go back to her dorm, that was too far from the infirmary. But she didn't want to wait outside of the door. Not right now, she knew she was going to break down and couldn't do it in front of other people. The bathroom, that's where she would go. She was right by it to. She swung the door open, causing it to crash against the wall. She then screamed, "GET OUT!" There was only one girl in the bathroom, she was just finishing washing her hands. She was so stunned by the scream she practically dashed out of the bathroom. Once gone Akiko checked if anybody else was in there. Once she knew she was alone. She put her hands on her head. Her thoughts swirled around like a vicious tornado. God damn..... why couldn't she stop them? Why couldn't she stop this? Why was history repeating itself? Her insides tore apart within her. Finally, after holding it in for so long, she started to scream. "FUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!" she shrieked as loud and long as she could. She caused the bathroom mirrors to all crack, some shattered. She then rushed up to one of the mirrors that didn't complete shatter. She continually bashed her forearm into the glass, eventually shattering it completely. Shame, pain, disappointment, and sickness drove her madness. She screamed, outbursting between the word '********' and a rageful gibberish not even she understood. When she was finally done she sat back down and buried her head in her arms, one bleeding from bashing it against glass. [[anger tantrum lol. when she says Get out I think of this ]]

Soul stayed silent for a moment. He wondered where those people went off to. Would they come here? They would be stupid to do so. They had to have known that the victims would be brought here. Attack them the way they did wasn't cool at all. They've already debated about this, about why. But that wasn't good enough for Soul. There were four mad students within the school. If they couldn't control themselves enough, and attacked these guys, even with a reason, then none of them could be safe. And to hell if he was going to leave Maka alone with them on the loose. If she wasn't with him, he would make sure Tsubaki was with her- since they were friends. BlackStar, Kid, Liz, Patty, anybody. Just not alone. Of course, he was too cool of a dude to sound all worried and stuff. He looked over at Maka, she seemed worried. He understood though. He smirked cooly though and said, "Hey. It's fine. They'll be ok."

((No posts for Atemu, Yuugi, or Kid this time. They aren't really needed at the moment. Additionally, Maka's post is short. I'm introducing my OC villain. She's coming after Lerena and Renoko first, because I'm a sadist. XD))

"What the hell?!" Lerena asked. She looked away, a slight blush on her cheeks. It wasn't like she had feelings for Malik or anything; she was just embarrassed. The more she watched them fight, the more she was fed up with it all. Sure, she and Renoko had fights. They were siblings; that was pretty much a given. What was not okay was a weapon bad-talking his Meister, because he made a simple mistake. "He's not going soft! He's repaying a favor, yes, but that doesn't mean anything!" said Lerena. "Well, Malik, when you're finished with your weapon, you know where to find me." she said. "Come on, Renoko. We don't have to listen to this s**t." remarked Lerena darkly.

"Are you sure you should just leave him there?" asked Renoko with a devilish smirk. It was more of a test to see if Lerena had any feelings for him. Marik's comment made her want to know something.

"Who are we to interfere in his affairs?" Lerena asked. "I know for a fact that I wouldn't want him interfering in mine."

Something still didn't seem right. Was Lerena afraid of Marik? Did she discover something she didn't want them knowing? Could it be both? She looked at Lerena. "Good point. Let's go." she said. When they were out of earshot, Renoko looked at her sister. "What is it?" she asked.

"For a brief moment, I thought I sensed a witch nearby." said Lerena. "The soul changed to a regular one though so most likely the witch is using Soul Protect." she explained. "The witches know where I'm hiding. Either that or they have a mission attacking Shibusen."

"Should we tell Shinigami-sama?" asked Renoko.

"No. He probably wouldn't believe us. That Meister I was fighting probably told him what we did. The fact we came back to Shibusen is probably a sin all on its own." she said. "Marik is dangerous. If he knew a witch was near, he'd go after her without a second thought." explained Lerena. "The witch is probably coming after me. For what reasons I don't know."

"Do you think she saw what you did?" Renoko asked.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I regret attacking that boy. If that witch found me, because of my presence in Domino City, then Shibusen is in danger. I don't want Shibusen destroyed. It is my sanctuary and my home." Lerena explained further. Her foolishness could very well be her undoing. Coming back to Shibusen was not a good idea in the slightest. "Hey, Renoko. Do you think I'm weak?" she asked her sister.

"The fact you've suffered so much...you're strong, Lerena. Please don't think otherwise." she told Lerena gently.

"I sure feel weak." said Lerena with a nervous laugh. She found her dorm and walked in. Sitting down on the couch, she took off her shirt. "Nurse me." Lerena ordered.

"Of course, Sister." Renoko answered. She went to the bathroom to fetch the first aid kit. "I don't always agree with your actions, but I want you to know that we're sisters. I'm with you and I've got your back." said Renoko when she returned.

"Men are so retarded." Lerena retorted. As Renoko nursed her wounds, she sighed. "Why are they even Meister and weapon if they control their tempers?"

"Marik started it." Renoko remarked with a smirk. "At least Malik has the maturity to repay the favor."

A girl with a gray, boyish cut and a black goth dress walked out of the kitchen. Her brown eyes remained focused on her target; Lerena. "Hello. My name is Marissa and I have been sent here to kill both of you." she said softly. "Please don't make this any harder than it has to be. All traitors must die and as it stands, you are not fit to be a proper witch, Lerena." explained Marissa.

"I know. It's just that I can't believe anyone would do any of this." said Maka. She looked at Soul. "Well, I guess we should wait to see how their condition is."

Malik finally shoved Marik away from him. Lerena and Renoko were already pratically gone. "Ignorant b*****d...." Malik said in between a mumble and normal voice. He took a few steps back.

Marik wiped his mouth with his arm. "Don't come back to the dorm," he said as he walked away from his meister. All he wanted to do was seek revenge on the Pharaoh. They had their chance but failed because his meister was too week. No matter. There was no excuse for him to fail next time.

What ever. Marik was being an a*****e. He didn't want to deal with his bullshit now. Marik wasn't hurt at all, he was. He figured he go back to Lerena and Renoko's dorm. By the time he got back there, Marissa was already there. However, he didn't know this. He knocked on their door waiting for an answer. "Hey, it's me, open up," he called into the door so they wouldn't think it was somebody after them.

Akiko went from anger to flat out bawling. It went on for a while until she finally got it together. When she was done she sat there feeling numb. She stood back up and looked at herself in a broken piece of mirror. She tended to her arm and rinsed her face off. What was she doing here doing this? Somebody could easily come in and see her ridiculous self.

[[nothing for anyone else cause I struggled with this post. I'll bring everyone back next post]]
