Blinking and flushing even brighter - yes, it was possible - as his hand was held again, Remy looked down and then up at her in surprise. She didn't want..?
"I don't think you're stupid," he stuttered, blinking at her in confusion. "What...are you calling me stupid?" he asked, huffing and thumping his tail against his butt in slight irritation. How mean! "I'm not stupid!" he pouted.
Was she saying what he thought she was saying..?
"Can I kiss you?" he blurted out suddenly, pausing in his steps to squeeze his eyes shut in embarassment. "I-I-I mean..I..."

...well she hadn't expected that question so soon. And yes, she was calling him stupid...which she now rested her case with when he thought she was calling herself stupid.
Humming softly in contemplation, she pursed her lips in though as she paused by one of the low-hanging trees, twisting around to rest her back against the trunk, releasing his hand to cross her arms over her chest.
"Sure," but this was something he would have to do--she wasn't helping him along with this one. "You can kiss me."

Opening his mouth for some other lame excuse ('I meant to say...kick...the...rock..?') he opened his eyes and looked up at her in even more surprise. She said yes?
She had said yes.
He could kiss her.
When his hand was let go, he immediately ran his hand through his hair and looked away for a moment, trying to calm the slight trembling in his form down. "I..I've never..." he said quietly, his face burning so hot that he was surprised he didn't catch on fire. "S-So..."
Swallowing and licking his lips, Remy looked up at her nervously as he took a step forward. Leaning forward, he flinched as their noses bumped - but he didn't stop, because he knew if he leaned away he wouldn't ever get the courage again. So tilting his head just slightly, he closed his eyes and pressed his lips to hers, his heart fluttering in his chest immediately, his hands gripping at his pants so tight his knuckles hurt.
Her lips were softer than he thought they would be, actually.
And she smelled good.

Having to hold back the urge to laugh when their noses bumped, she tilted her head in the opposite direction--to make sure the kid didn't somehow manage to break her nose--and waited for him to 'seal the deal' so to speak.
Which he did. His face was burning against her own, and she could feel his slight trembling. How cute, she almost expected him to pass out at this rate. Lifting her hands, she brought one up to touch the kid's own while her other rose up to touch his cheek, trying to reassure him. She really didn't want him to pass out.
Returning the soft kiss, Kai pulled back after a moment, keeping close either way. Stroking his cheek with her thumb, she grinned and tapped his index finger against his lower lip, "See? Not that bad."

Turning his hand to press their palms together, he gently twined their fingers together. He let out a breath against her cheek as he opened his eyes, focusing on her own as he leaned back slightly.
Turning his face to nuzzle into her palm, he couldn't help the huge doofy grin that covered his face the next moment, his face still burning...but a good burning. "Eh it was okay," he mumbled teasingly, hand squeezing hers.
Pausing for a moment, he swallowed before shifting. "Can I do it again?" Yeah this was almost addicting. He could kiss her all day, he decided. Without really waiting for an answer, he leaned in, mouth brushing hers before he pressed a gentle kiss to her lips again, eyes fluttering closed as his tail thumped happily.

Now he was getting more courage behind his actions, which was good. Chuckling at his teasing, she shook her head a bit and gripped loosely to his hand, her other lowering to rest against his shoulder after he had nuzzled her palm.
Kaikara gave a playful shrug and a nod, about ready to tease him back when he leaned back in for another kiss. Ah, why tease him more...he'd finally gotten the courage to even hold her hand, why accidentally chase him away?
Once again she returned the kiss, pressing closer with a soft hum to deepen the kiss just slightly, again not wanting to chase him off. She didn't let it last long, however, and pulled back from the kiss to reach up and pinch his lower lip affectionately, "This means I should stop looking for 'available males' now, huh?" Kai cooed tauntingly, arching a brow.

His tail was starting to hurt it was wiggling so fast, his free hand moving to rest against the tree behind her. He had never felt this way about anyone else before...it made his chest hurt too, the way she was kissing him making him light-headed and...blinking open his eyes and swallowing, Remy's smile returned as he blushed more.
He wanted to shout 'yes!' and take her right then and there, claim her as his mate and...okay those thoughts just turned dirty and now he was embarassed, shifting back and swallowing again. "D-Do...um...Do you want...?"
Did Kai even like him? Why? He was tiny and wimpy and a turned vegetarian and couldn't even hold her hand without blushing and stuttering and what if she wanted more, what if he couldn't do it? What if they were stuck like this for forever and she wanted kittens and he couldn't do it because he was a nervous weirdo and...pushing the thoughts away, Remy looked up to shyly meet her gaze, swallowing again. "You want to be with me...?" he breathed, hand gripping onto hers in an almost death grip, not wanting to ever let go...

Arching a brow at him, she brought a hand up to run her fingers through his hair, giving a soft hum while brushing his hair out of his face.
Finally, he finished his question, squeezing his hand right back so he didn't feel like he needed to break her fingers or anything. "I do," she said lightly, smirking. "I want to be with you," Remy...was adorable. She was attached to him, and at first she thought it was just a motherly instinct to hold onto and make sure that they were safe...but it was far from that.
"I wont if you break my hand, though," she laughed, freeing her hand from his as she brought both of her arms up to wrap around his neck. Leaning forward to press a soft kiss to his mouth once more, pulling back quickly while playing with the hairs at the back of his neck. "So calm down, I wanna' be with you, Remy."

Doofy smile again. "Really?" he squeaked, mentality immediately dropping to that of a five year old at Christmas. Bouncing a little on his toes, he smiled even brighter and lifted his hands to touch her face. "Mine," he murmured, smiling even brighter. "Mine, mine, mine."
Leaning in to press little kisses to her mouth, Remy hummed happily, tail still a-wiggling. Moving to nuzzle at her jaw, the manx sighed happily and buried his face into her short hair, kissing lightly at her neck.

Giving a light laugh at the man's behavior, she brought her arms up to wrap around his neck, leaning in close to him with a soft and contented hum.
"Mm..mine," she purred lowly, kissing his ear before kissing he scars on his nose affectionately. He wasn't sure how they had ended up like this...he went from being an annoying runt to an adorable b*****d that she couldn't resist. It was so odd.
"You're too cute for being a runt, you know," she pointed out with a playful smirk, stroking her thumbs over the back of his neck softly while her neck was kissed. "Did you really think I was a lesbian?" Kai laughed, nudging his head slightly with her own to rest her forehead against his own, eyes narrowed slightly, curiously, her ears perked so she could hear him better. Really, she was just curious now. How long had he thought all of this? Is that why he disappeared?

"I'm not a runt, my breed is just small!" he defended with a huff, hands dropping to settle on her waist. And when she called him hers...oh god his heart did backflips and somersaults and everything.
Pouting slightly at her question, Remy crossed his eyes to look at her before laughing and leaning back. "You said you liked girls," he pointed out, looking down at his shoes and scuffing his toes in the dirt. "So I just assumed...y'know..."
Shrugging, he bit the inside of his lip as he reached up to touch her elbows. "But now I know you're not~ Unless you think I'm a girl, which I'm not. I can show you my p***s to prove it," he huffed, leaning back to look at her with a playful glare.
Oh god did he seriously offer to just whip out his p***s..?
