Memories consume Like opening the wound I'm picking me apart again You all assume I'm safe here in my room Unless I try to start again + I don't want to be the one, The battles always choose + Keiji's eyes widen when he heard the details of Ero's dream. It was the same as what he had briefly thought about a few moments ago. His eyes soften to show true joy and hints of love at the mention of the memory that had surfaced for Ero.
When Ero looked as though he would turn away and leave him, Keiji moved with superhuman speed to wrap his arms around Ero from behind.
"Don't go...It was a memory of your past life as Hiru-kun... My dear Hiru-kun." He lowered is head to press his nose into Ero's neck, breathing in a scent that was completely Ero's. It was just as addictive to him now as Hiru's was before, maybe more now thanks to his heightened sense of smell.
"That day was one of the last peaceful days we had... Then Hiru's health began failing him.. It was a long and painful time for him.. and nothing could save him. Maybe modern medicine would have saved him, but it was a thousand years ago..." He spoke into Ero's ear, voice low enough that only Ero could hear the words.
"I've waited so long to find you... And though I know you will never be the same as Hiru... I don't want to lose you." His voice was a little shaky, a single tear slipping past half-closed eyelids to land on the shoulder of the smaller human.

~A dream that's like a far off memory...~ Ero’s eyes widened when Keiji suddenly grabbed him from behind. He stood silently, listening to all that Keiji said. When Keiji finished speaking, Ero turned in his arms so that they were now facing each other. At first, Ero thought that Keiji was joking with him, but the way that he spoke and the state of emotion that he was in convinced Ero that he was telling the truth. But if Keiji was really telling the truth, then was he really the reincarnation of someone from long ago? And how could Keiji be over a thousand years old? That would be impossible, unless the other was some kind of monster or demon, but that would be impossible, too. Ero lifted his hand to wipe the single tear from Keiji’s face. “Don’t worry, Keiji-kun.” he smiled softly, “I’m not going to leave you. I’ll stay with you for a while if you really want me to.” He then wrapped his arms around Keiji in a light embrace, resting his head on his shoulder. To be honest, Ero had no idea what to think of this situation. It was a weird combination of scary and intriguing, and Ero was pretty curious about his past life. “Do you want to go inside now?”~...A far off memory that's like a dream.~

((Sorry I couldn't post this yesterday... but we didn't go in to town, so i couldn't...)) Memories consume Like opening the wound I'm picking me apart again You all assume I'm safe here in my room Unless I try to start again + I don't want to be the one, The battles always choose + Keiji smiled softly as the tear was wiped from his face by Ero. He nodded as a reply to Ero staying with him. Teal eyes slid closed as Ero wrapped his warm arms around him in a light embrace, his head tilted to rest gently on Ero’s.
To be honest, he’d rather stay as they were for longer, but knew it would only cause problems to be caught outside with Ero. There was always the chance that a fan would try finding him, since he was seen in this area the day before.
With great reluctance, which he hid well, Keiji released himself from Ero’s hold and grabbed one of Ero’s wrists, pulling the other inside the building and taking him back up to his room. Once there, Keiji let go of Ero and motioned for him to make himself comfortable on the couch near the TV.
“Would you like some tea? Or coffee?” He asked, opening the mini-fridge to make sure he had a blood-pouch for himself and that the sight of it wouldn’t nauseate him this time. Thankfully he was able to see the cold, packaged blood without feeling the need to vomit. It was because he’d fed on fresh blood earlier, so the cold kind would satisfy his hunger for a while once more.

~A dream that's like a far off memory...~ Ero silently followed Keiji inside the hotel and up to his room. He sat down on the couch with a demure air, his hands resting upon his knees, and watching the other as he walked or to the mini-fridge. “Um…tea would be great, thanks.” he said in reply to Keiji’s question. While Keiji was busy with getting his tea, Ero preoccupied himself with trying to process all of the new information that Keiji gave him. A thousand years ago, he was known as Hiru. And, as Hiru, he had a close relationship with Keiji, but he got sick, died, and was reborn in the present as Ero. But what about Keiji? Was Keiji in the past reborn as the present Keiji? Besides the present Keiji’s paler skin tone, the two looked exactly alike. And what a coincidence that Keiji was reborn with the same name as his past self, or perhaps he had it changed. “Are you sure that you want me to stay, Keiji-kun?” Ero asked, “I mean, it’s late and I’m sure that you have a busy day tomorrow. You don’t need me to interrupt your sleep.” ~...A far off memory that's like a dream.~

"Would you like milk or sugar?" He asked as he brought the cup to the table near where Ero was sitting.
He went to grab a small milk bottle and a sugar bowl in case Ero wanted any, then returned for his cup, which was half tea and half blood. He sat across from Ero and set his cup down, small smile gracing his features as he contemplated Ero's words.
"Of course I want you here, after finally finding you after all this time.." He chuckled and answered, "I never sleep at night... I'm too restless at night, I prefer sleeping while the sun is up.." He got a far-away glaze to his eyes as he finished speaking, a memory of Hiru apologizing for interrupting his sleep weeks before Hiru's death. + 'Cause inside I realize, That I'm the one confused + Clutching my cure I tightly lock the door I try to catch my breath again I hurt much more Than anytime before I had no options left again

~A dream that's like a far off memory...~ Ero watched Keiji as he came over and placed his cup of tea on the table in front of him. “Thank you.” he spoke softly. He added a bit of milk to his tea and brought the cup to his lips to taste it. He took a sip of the beverage and a pleased smile formed on his lips. He took another sip while Keiji spoke, smiling to himself when Keiji said that he really wanted him there, then set his cup down again. “You really are a creature of the night, huh?” he smiled, “You weren’t partying too hard or anything like that. Is that your secret?” Ero knew the stereotype about rock stars: party all night and sleep during the day. But, to Ero, Keiji didn’t seem like much of a partier. He couldn’t see the teal-haired star participating in a drunken, raucous crowd. That seemed below Keiji’s character. “Keiji-kun.” Ero looked up to the other. He moved forward in his seat. “You seem to remember more about our past lives than I do. Do you remember what our lives were like back then, or how we became lovers? I want to know all that you can tell me.” ~...A far off memory that's like a dream.~

((OMG I have been on severe house-arrest since mom's van didn't have insurance and we still don't have internet at home...))
Keiji chuckled, fully aware of the common stereotypical rockstar. "That is correct. I do not party with large crowds... too much warm blood in an enclosed space.." He also had no interest in the flavour of human alcoholic beverages, Sake was his prefered alcohol when he was human. He only drank it on the anniversary of Hiru's death/the anniversary of his 'death' to the human's conception of death.
Keiji took sip of his blood-tea and returned Ero's stare. "Yes, I remember it all.. Though a thousand years have passed, it feels like only yesterday to me. When we first met, you were only a servant whose job was to look after me. Like the English butler, I suppose.. It was a while before we became lovers, though, and we could only meet in secret as it was not right in our society.
"Even now it is not completely accepted in society, though it is much less of a taboo. Now, status of birth is no longer important either." He paused, a frown darkening his expression as he took another sip of the blood-tea. "We were only together for a short time before foreigners brought in sickness we had never seen before. Many became ill, including members of our household, servants and my family alike.
"You were the last to fall ill, and it wasted you away quickly... I mean Hiru.. That day, when y-Hiru died, is the day I lost my humanity and became a monster from human legend. I spent every day for a millenia, searching for you, for Hiru's reincarnation." He finished with a small gesture of affection, his hand reaching to caress Ero's cheek for a moment and lingering.
((gotta get going....Might get on tomorrow, and if not I'll try getting on on Monday))

Ero's attention was fully upon Keiji as he recounted their history together. He forgot about his tea, which he still held in both hands. As he listened to the other, images of his former life flashed in his mind: when he first met Keiji, their first kiss, when he first got sick, and on his deathbed.
He set his tea on the table and placed his hand atop Keiji's, leaning his cheek into the loving caress. "I guess this kind of explains why I've never been lucky in love. Maybe I was destined to be with you and no one else." Ero slowly opened his dark eyes, looking back to Keiji. A thoughtful look was in his eyes.
"Keiji-kun..." Ero spoke softly, almost as if he was either afraid or ashamed to continue, "You've been searching for me for so long. I hope that I don't disappoint you."

He’d just found Ero again, he wasn’t about to scare him away by trying to feed off him.
He did, however, need to tell Ero the truth about what he was. That alone might scare him off. ”Ero, do you… believe in vampires? Are you afraid of them?”

~A dream that's like a far off memory...~ Ero smiled back up at Keiji. Although he knew that he could never take Hiru's place, Ero hoped that he could make Keiji just as happy as he did in his past life. When Keiji asked him about vampires, Ero gave him a curious look. Keiji was really into this vampire fad, going as far as to acting like one. In reply to his question, Ero simply shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know if I'm afraid of vampires. I guess I would be, considering he'd probably want to kill me. But if he was a friendly vampire, I might not be as afraid. Why do you ask?"~...A far off memory that's like a dream.~

He’d never heard of truly friendly vampires, since they only acted nice to get close to humans so that there wouldn’t be a frightened taste to their blood. In the same manner as Demons would treat humans nicely so the soul tasted better when they devoured it.
”And if I were a vampire and wanted to make you mine for all eternity? Would it be your wish to never see me again? Or would you willingly give up your humanity for me?” He raised his tea cup to his lips for another sip, this time allowing a bit of the red liquid to trail out of the corner of his lips. He hadn’t added milk to his tea, as it would have diluted the blood too much for his liking, so the tea possessed a very reddish tint to it. + 'Cause inside I realize, That I'm the one confused + Clutching my cure I tightly lock the door I try to catch my breath again I hurt much more Than anytime before I had no options left again

~A dream that's like a far off memory...~ As he listened to Keiji speak, Ero shifted uncomfortably in his seat. What kind of questions were these? Why was Keiji so obsessed with vampires? Did he really think that he was a vampire? Didn’t Keiji know that vampires weren’t real? Then again, weirder things have happened tonight. “Well…” his voice trailed off. Ero looked back up at Keiji, hoping that the other would be smiling or making some gesture to let him know that he was only joking, but Keiji only sat there, sipping his tea. Ero noticed the red tea trailing from the corner of his mouth and he frowned ever so slightly. “…If you were a vampire, I would be afraid to be around you. I mean, I don’t want to die anytime soon. Then again, I don’t know you very well. Not well enough to sacrifice my humanity for you, anyway. I like being human.” Ero bit his lip and glanced off to the side, then turned his attention back to Keiji with a nervous smile. “But why does that matter? It’s not like you’re a vampire or anything.”~...A far off memory that's like a dream.~

[]"Yeah... that is the common reaction..." He mumbled softly. His unnatural teal eyes turned to Ero once more.
"Yeah, sorry. Guess I got carried away." He smiled a hopefully reassuring smile and finished his blood tea. He wiped off the red liquid with a napkin and stuffed the napkin into his pocket.
"It's getting late. You should probably leave before the others wake up.. they tend to tease excessively. Especially when I have someone in the hotel room over night." Bue he was more worried about them asking why he hadn't already bled Ero dry, since thay knew and accepted that he was an honest-to-gods vampire.
If Ero was uncomfortable with the idea of being around a vampire, then he would likely never want to see Keiji again, and that would kill him more than anything vampire hunters could do to him.
Yes, there were those who still hunted vampires.. Though they seemed to be a dying breed, along with real vampires, these days. + 'Cause inside I realize, That I'm the one confused + Clutching my cure I tightly lock the door I try to catch my breath again I hurt much more Than anytime before I had no options left again
((I'm thinking of adding extra side-characters and side-pairings to make this a little interesting... like say a vampire hunter that has been chasing Keiji for years? And the 'Hunters' are immortal like vampires, but don't need blood to survive.))

~A dream that's like a far off memory...~ Ero smiled back at Keiji. He finished the last bit of his tea and set the empty cup on the table, looking back up at Keiji when he said that he should leave. The slightest hint of disappointment was in his dark eyes. "Yeah, it is kinda late." he agreed, glancing down at his watch. He stood from the chair and walked over to the room door, but paused for a moment. He looked back at Keiji with a hopeful look. "Will I get to see you again?"~...A far off memory that's like a dream.~ ((Great idea. How do you want to introduce them? You could have one tailing Ero on his way home.))

Memories consume Like opening the wound I'm picking me apart again You all assume I'm safe here in my room Unless I try to start again + I don't want to be the one, The battles always choose + Keiji saw the disappointment, it mirrored his own, but for now it was best that they part for now, or he might not be able to stop himself from ruining everything by scaring him away by losing control to the thirst that lay in wait for a chance to strike at the human before him. He would rather kill himself once and for all than harm or even possibly kill Ero. Not when the boy looked exactly like Hiru would have in this day and age…
Also, it could be dangerous for the human. A hunter had been tracking him since he first left Japan and arrived in the human city of Jerusalem. It had, interestingly enough, been the first city he took up residence in when his humanity died along with Hiru. Ero‘s question brought a tender smile to his face.
”I hope so…and I hope there will not be any danger for you in meeting with me again.” He muttered the last part so as to not let Ero hear it. He had a feeling similar to the one that had warned him of the approach of hunters some fifty years or so ago. He knew that a Hunter was present in Tokyo the minute the plane landed.
He turned to the large glass window/door that covered most of the outer wall of this particular room, not wanting to watch Ero leave, though he could see the slightest reflection in the glass. As the glass door faced east, the rising sun would be visible from here, and as it was a room near the top of the tall building, the view in the early morning was amazing.Tokyo‘s Narita Airport… 3:15 AMThe airplane touched down in Tokyo finally, having been delayed in its departure hours ago from LA’s International airport, and the passengers were all relieved to finally arrive at their destination, be it for business trip/transfers or vacations/visits to family. One passenger though made no sign of being relieved to have arrived. In fact, he had not made much sign of even being alive for the whole flight. There were empty seats all around him as other passengers were creeped out by his ‘aura‘.
The young-looking man wore a long black trench coat with red clouds scattered along it, despite having been in LA where summer was in full swing, and his face was covered half by bandages/an eye patch and the rest was hidden under wild, spiky red hair. The man seemed to sleep most of the flight though, and never tried hijacking the plane or anything suspicious. When he wasn‘t ‘sleeping‘, or meditating actually, he was immersed in a book that looked similar to a bible, only not in English or any still-used language. It was an older form of Latin, one that even the Vatican didn‘t use.
Dangling from the book was a rosary, though it didn‘t consist of that which normal rosaries contained. The cross was there, but it was decorated with lotus‘s and roses with no thorns. The beads used were of Lapiz Lazuli and a bluish pink Jade. His eyes were like emerald fire, though hidden behind shades at the moment.
The man was here for one purpose, killing vampires. He‘d been following one since Jerusalem, for nearly a [thousand] years now. Humans once feared vampires, but now many liked to pretend they were the undead. It was a new trend that modern day youths found exciting and fun. Hunters needed to be careful they didn‘t kill one of those pretend vampires by mistake. He himself had never made that mistake, having been trained since he was a child to detect vampires among the humans, even those capable of walking in the day.
His family was also special, in that they could sense vampires, could find them when others would be tricked by them. It was a skill he had honed far above any in his clan. He was one of the few remaining Hunters, a race that was also becoming extinct. He could only hope that vampires became extinct before his kind did.
+ 'Cause inside I realize, That I'm the one confused + Clutching my cure I tightly lock the door I try to catch my breath again I hurt much more Than anytime before I had no options left again
((And you could come up with a counterpart for him? Like a band-mate of Keiji’s, or a friend/cousin of Ero’s? - and I decided to use TykiSasori(true appearance) as a basic reference to my Hunter‘s appearance. And I think I‘ll make Hunters similar to the Noah Clan from Dgray-man. As in they can look human, and also can look like the Noah, with a row of crosses along their forehead [the number of crosses can signify rank/power level]. And each possess a unique power, at various levels - but nothing God-like (like elemental control, linked with one clan each or something like that].. TykiSasori will have Seven crosses, and seven will equal the highest rank.. And those that are Heads of the separate lesser clans. -His name won't be Sasori or Tyki though...they are merely the original character names.. Maybe even another vampire can become his counterpart? It would make for an interesting twist…. Or would you like to control the Hunter? Then I can make the counterpart [who would be the uke, like Ero is Keiji‘s uke.))
