I told the people who were in charge of my placement and they said they can't do anything about it. Plus, they said if I were to leave that house I'd be going to a part of Michigan that I REALLY would rather stay away from. Too many gang violence and stuff going there and I'm whiter then sour cream. Me + ghetto = +_+
Anyways, the people in charge said 'It's her house, her rules. Whatever stuff is in her house, it's hers. She can do whatever she wanted with it. It's her property now.' -_-

In my current situation, I am married to an Atheist who I no longer try to discuss religious issues with because it causes him to rant and rave about the percent of faithful people who are nut jobs...so we avoid the conversation.
In the past, I have mostly dated Agnostics, Atheists as well as Eastern Religious person. But I did date a few Christian boys and girls...those relationships never lasted because of me getting yelled at or told I was going to hell or being stupid and following the Devil. I tied to have civil discussions with them but none would listen. So I told them good day and left. No one needs that in their life.
It seems your boyfriend wants to learn about your faith to get a better judgment so he doesn't have to think that you are doing evil stuff and going to hell. That's a good move and a promising statement of him accepting your faith. I think he just needs to learn that you aren't killing infants and kittens to sacrifice to the Gods above. That I think is what he is worried about. If it does cause problems, I say just tell him sorry and move on because if he can't accept you as a Pagan than it will never work. This is a two way street as well, you have no right to tell him he's doing anything wrong for following his own religious path ^.^ so as long as you two can discuss and accept each other you should be fine ^.^ So just discuss it with him and answer his questions as best as you can ::thumbs up:: ^.^

I have had some issues with the church lady.. The only advice I can really give is to say that im sure your not comfortable with him like that. People should not push their beliefs on anyone, no matter how much they think their doing the "right" thing, because 9 out of 10 you both are right in your own way. He thinks you'll Burn because his "God" States it in the bible. Just as you know that your "Goddess" Would punish you if you broke the law that was set for us. It's to say that if he were a black magic kinda guy, you would fear for him. But he might think that the darkness protect him because of how he worships it. In my personal opinion, the bible is crap. There are so many "Real Bibles" It's just hard to believe that any one of them are real. Now If he really believes In it then I understand his worry. In the bible im sure it states " Do not suffer a witch to live " Which was the main reason the witch trials were started. So his faith and worry only shows his love. Just set him down and let him know you know he cares, But ask would his God let you burn for doing what you honestly believe in your heart is right? And if so then I know I would much rather Burn in hell for doing what I Felt in my soul was right, then go to heaven for turning against my own beliefs.

Ah, Yeah, I understand.. I just went off about that just yesterday. It's amazing how some people are so hypocritical... When religion is the conflict, everyone is "wrong and foolish" or "Need help" -_-

It's about that some people cannot accept other people's religions. Due to the fact that Gaia is mostly used by Americans, and that the majority religion in America is Christianity, it might seem that people are posting about hating Christians, but I think they're just explaining that people around them do not accept their own religion. Personally I've dealt with plenty of people who don't accept my religion, but I've dealt with plenty of people who do accept my religion as well. My parents are in the group who do not totally accept my religion, and yes they are Christian. That doesn't mean that I hate them, and it certainly doesn't mean that I hate their religion. I use to be Christian as well, I just left because I didn't feel it was the right religion for me. I do remember that when I was younger and still a Christian, I met my best friend at secondary school. We got talking, and shared information about ourselves, and we got to the part where we asked about religion. She then told me that her mother use to be Catholic, and her father was Buddhist. That was a huge shocker for me, and I was sceptical about that, but after she explained what Buddhism was about, I realised that I had been labelling it as "odd" without gathering the facts. Yes, discrimination is a two-way street as you say, but I don't think the point of this thread is to say "I hate Christianity".
