"Oh. That's a good idea," he replied, nodding his head. Probably the only good idea of the day in fact. He poised his foot about the gas, wedging himself into position again. "Ready for the gas?"

With the end of the joy ride looming ahead of him, he was feeling a bit more comfortable with the whole thing. It looked like they weren't going to get caught and for a moment, he thought this whole thing wasn't so bad.

Pressing on the gas sped the jeep forward back to it's rightful place. He began to wonder about scavenging for parts. "How long does the ranger usually sleep?" It was hard telling how long it had been or how long it would take to find a viable electronic device to strip.

Extremely grateful for the straight and smooth approach to head back to the ranger station, he was able to let his muscles relax. Still it would have been nicer to curl up in the passenger seat he thought. A cushion would go a long way in comfort.

That sounded like they'd have a few hours. That should be plenty of time to find something. He gave a nod even if Speed couldn't see him. "I believe that will be sufficient." At least if they were lucky and it seemed so far that luck was on their side.

After hitting the brake and waiting for the jeep to be placed in park, then turned off-he took a moment to just breathe. Climbing onto the passenger's seat he stretched out, then hopped onto the dashboard and over the windshield. The hood was warm under his gloves and he had the urge to curl up for a nap. He shook the thought from his head while turning to look at Speed.

"You're welcome," he gave a bow of his head. "I've been through worse," he gave a chuckle. Indeed he had. Sometimes he was quite surprised at how worse.

"Do you know anything about electronics? I need to collect some wiring and I think this is the best place to look."

Under his helmet, Billy's eyes widened. He would have to write this day down as the day luck was on his side. He supposed it had a habit of being but stumbling upon another otter that could help him gather components? Thank Einstein!

"Really? That will be incredibly helpful." He gave a nod and grinned, even though Speed couldn't see it. He took a moment to absorb any warmth he could from the hood even though it wasn't that cold out and his suit kept him pretty warm as it was-but it reminded him of curling up in bed before he'd ended up here.

He flipped off the hood of the jeep, landing on his hind legs before falling to all fours. "I think starting with the trash receptacle would be good. I would like to avoid having to enter the cabin and waking or alerting the ranger to our presence," he said, waiting for Speed to join him on the ground.

With a nod, he observed the station and spotted some metal garbage cans on the side. He supposed there might be dumpster out back for food to keep predators away from the building. They'd start with the small cans before looking for inside.

He made his way towards them. "Anything with wires should work," he stated as he lifted the lid from one of the cans and peered inside. It was full-this might take awhile.

Turning to Speed, Billy abandoned his own trash can to see what the otter had found. He peered inside and grinned, a broken radio was perfect. "That should be perfect, Speed." Now they just had to figure out how to get it out. "I think I can climb inside to push it out if you catch it." He did have a rather friendly relationship with garbage cans.
