what's a girl with my size chest to do? i'm a 38 DDD and shelf bra tanks don't work for me! i even have problems finding nursing bras in my size >_<

not wear one. =P
There's nothing wrong w/going bra-less.
Through if you have the monies, you could always get a breast reduction(or if it's causing you back problems, you could prolly get one on the cheap from your insurance company)

ah, here's the problem, it hurts if i dont wear some sort of support, plus it kind of looks gross if i dont because of the sheer size of them, they go all the way down to my navel if im sitting, about halfway down my belly if im standing.

the second part has its own problems because i'm a nursing mom, i'd like to be able to retain my ability to lactate and unfortunately im not aware of any plastic surgeons that put function over asthetics. they will destroy the function of the breast to make it more visually appealing. i wouldnt mind a scar on the side if it meant not severing my milk ducts, but most of them put the scar on the edge of the areola to "blend in" but it cuts most (if not all) of the milk ducts.

Ouch. Ummm then i guess you could try what Hoshioni suggested and lift light weights(mabye five or ten pounds?) Or do pushups to make the muscles under your boobs grow strong enough to support them? Umm I dunno. D:

oh before i forget, less weight more reps is reccomended for nice "Girly" look

(side effects include more stamina and you might be able to beat up a bulker "manly" man)

That sounds pretty awesome.
But I dont have access to weights ATM, have limited time, and can't even do ONE pushup. Any ideas? :3

Still bra free. I don't really think of it anymore. I do get guys staring at my chest, but I think it's just a guy thing (like I stare at their bottoms) so it doesn't really bother me. I don't typically have highbeams, and if I do, they're tucked away nicely under many a layer.

Anyways, other information I've found out is that you have quite a few lymph nodes around your boobs. The lymphatic system has no pump of its own, so relies on muscle movement to get around.

Functions of the Lymphatic System
  • The lymphatic system works in close cooperation with other body systems to perform these important functions:
  • The lymphatic system aids the immune system in destroying pathogens and filtering waste so that the lymph can be safely returned to the circulatory system.
  • To remove excess fluid, waste, debris, dead blood cells, pathogens, cancer cells, and toxins from these cells and the tissue spaces between them.
  • The lymphatic system also works with the circulatory system to deliver nutrients, oxygen, and hormones from the blood to the cells that make up the tissues of the body.

link

In my crazy head, I figure if you have a bunch of lymph nodes on and around The Girls and these lymphs need movement to do their job, why am I wearing a bra that will restrict this movement? Bra companies and whatnot are always pumping us that whatever% of the female population is wearing a ill fitted bra - how is this affecting your lymphs? It'd be interesting to see any studies on bra wearers to non bra wearers and breast cancer/over all health and tissue hold up over the years.

Wall pushups maybe for starters?
They're more easy to complete in my experience, and without back strain.

Yeah, try push-ups on your knees or wall push-ups. heart

Agreed, try modified push-ups to start. They're not as much of a workout, but they'll still help, and once you're used to them, you can work your way up to regular push-ups from there, assuming you'd like to.

I don't like going bra-less too much, never in public anyway. When I go to sleep I will sometimes, or just chilling out at home. Other than that, I like wearing my nice comfy bras. <3

Clicking like the fist of the motherfreakin' north star XD

Anyways, I wanted to give some advice on the whole weightlifting thing:

Lifting 5lb weights is a bad idea and waste of money. Your arms alone weigh more than 5lbs and you move 'em around ALL the time. The idea is, lift more, gain more. If you want some chest muscles so that the pain is lessened, go lift heavy. Go to a gym, get help from a trainer, find out your right weight to lift, and lift away! You will NOT become super mega ripped by lifting heavy: most bodybuilding women enter VERY, VERY tough diet and weightlifting regimes and most do anabolic steroids anyways. Lifting, however, is VERY healthy, and a good way to pass time and look sexier.

The second thing you can do is... lose weight. Breasts are mostly fatty tissue, which is removed by losing weight. Now, there is no such thing as spot reduction, so if you wanna reduce your breast size, you're going to end up losing a few dress sizes too, but it's the cheapest, healthiest, safest way to lower the size of your breasts.

Good point, it's always funny to me when girls say they don't want to lift weights because they don't want to look bulky like body builders. It's just not that simple.

It's not even simple for men, and we got all the hormones needed for getting huge. I mean, bodybuilders spend YEARS getting to where they're at, and the diets they work with are almost torturous, and if they slip on their regime for a few days, they lose 25% muscle and gain 3% body fat.

not that easy. i eat healthy and exercise and im fat. i've always been fat, im always going to be fat. there's nothing wrong with being fat and there's nothing i can do about it. most people cant just loose weight like that.

now that said, lately i've been "training" myself bra-free to strengthen the muscles. my biggest problem is finding shirts that are cut to look good bra-free. ive found one of my old maternity shirts that looks like a normal shirt that looks pretty decent with me being bra-free.

I actually am super thin and my breats are small as it is. I can run and them not bother me with what little flopping around they do. As with the lymph things, I think weight lifting would deff help get me moving in that sense, but yeah, I can't afford a trainer(college student) unless I drag my boyfriend back into working out, but he thinks simply eating a protein bar after working out makes everything better, and that you don't need to eat really healthy in general(at least his dietary lifestyle shows it). D:

So yeah. D:
I can't even lift the bare bar on a weightlifiting bench. emo

I'm deff gonna try out the wall pushups and such!
And my arms REALLY feel it after I champher a ton of parts and then sand em at work. Just remember to alternate my arms cuz that means they're workin at it! xD

yes go look at ancient roman statues. thats how they winded up wearing only togas, and stuff....XD

those statues are based off average non deformed people.

Actually you're wrong. Ancient Roman and Greek sculptures were not based on "average" looks. Quite the opposite in fact.
Sculptors tended to create idealized forms of the human body in their work, because perfection was the preferred style of art back then. Yes, the proportions on statues look very lifelike, but even though they used real models, they almost always gave their statues a more perfected look by leaving out the normal flaws of the human body.
So if you don't see any ancient Greek or Roman sculptures with sagging breasts, it's not because their breasts never sagged, it's because perky breasts were considered more ideal.

not to mention the greek statures all had perfectly symmetrical faces, which real humans have not. i know alot of people confuse the more realistic renascence era sculptures with the actual greek ones too though.
