Powchii thought to himself listening to her to catch any important information. 'Jes's shadows fuse with the body and mind creating an intricate connection between her and her subject. The connection between them allows her to 'voice' an opinion inside the mind of her subject. She could intrude on ones thoughts, but if a person is strong enough to sense the intrusion they could repel her, but if she wnted to she could force her way into their mind, but if she does force her way in it would most likely damage the subjects mental state.' he rubbed the back of his neck, 'Not that I plan to challenge the connection between the two of us, but it'll be interesting to see how the pup fares against Jes's will.' he let out a sigh.

Powchii shook his head, "Sorry Jes, but I'm afraid if I go they'll swarm me like ants." he refered to fire ants that swarm then kill their target. He shrugged, "Not just that, but they keep moving from one spot to another at such a speed that I'd barely be able to catch any information from them." he chuckled slightly, "I did however catch a bit of interesting information from my short travel here. A woman is leading them and she has summoned a large obstruction in the coutyard. I am unaware of it's purpose, but as soon as it was summoned they hid it." he said offering up the little bit of intel he had, "I was able to catch a glimpse of it. .. It was a large crystal obelisk." he had no use of the info so he divulged it with no hesitation.

“Mmh,” Aislinn stirred, trying to fight off the strange haze that clouded her vision. She blinked blearily and the black sheen left her eyes their natural blue though clouded with confusion and the drug-like effects of Jes’s power. It felt like she had been asleep and was now struggling to wake. But this dream—this nightmare—was too strong. It pulled her back under so she could not tell where or when or how she was. She surfaced enough to hear voices around her, one cold and imperious, the other sullen but complacent.

Aislinn forced her languid thoughts into focus. She was cradled in someone’s lap, like she’d fallen asleep on a lazy day with Ami and now rested in her arms. But it didn’t feel right. Being held by Ami wouldn’t have kindled a sense of foreboding in her stomach. She would have kissed Aislinn tenderly and told her to go back to sleep. She would have—

Oh god.

“AMI!” Aislinn cried out, sitting bolt upright in Jes’s arms. She was fully awake, all that sleepy heaviness gone from her limbs. With a violent shove, she pushed herself away from the arrancar and toppled out of her lap and onto the floor. Recent events flooded back to her en masse. Oh god, oh god… She stared at Jes in horror, eyes searching the arrancar’s pale face for some sign—any sign—that Ami had been rescued.

“Where is she?” Ash demanded, glaring at Jes with those luminous blue eyes of hers. They were full of loathing for Jes but also disgust at what she’d just agreed to. The kiss—the acrid taste of blood and something oily was still in her mouth. Her lips were swollen and raw, unused to the forceful way Jes had kissed her. Aislinn shuddered involuntarily. She’d kissed someone who wasn’t Ami. That made her feel sick with guilt. At least Ami hadn’t had to see that and if it had saved her life, every horrible second would have been more than worth it.

“Where’s Ami?” She pressed, panic and anger and fear making her almost lightheaded.

"That doesn't bode well," Jes said with a small flash of irritation. She had enough to deal with without unknown entities running around erecting strange structure within her domain. She would have to send someone to investigate and, in all likelihood, destroy the obelisks of which Powchii spoke.

In the next moment, Aislinn seemed to snap out of her stupor, shoving herself out of Jes's arms with an aggressive push. Jes could have held on to the girl if she'd wanted, but she didn't want her new servant to injure herself. Moreover, the girl had surprised her. Jes had used a rather large amount of Shadows to contain the summer light, so she had assumed Ash would be too dazed to put up much of a resistance. The pup's capacity to fight the Shadow's effects and recall recent events was both intriguing and troubling. Aislinn's will was strong and the light in her was almost painfully bright, but the girl was still corruptible. She was still naive and more vulnerable than she realized.

Luckily, Bikou's talents would be able to drive her into darker places and keep her in line. All Jes had to do was stall until her arrancar associate's return. Ami certainly would not be returning. Either Bikou would kill her or she'd be forced to flee even deeper into the endless deserts. Either way, Jes very much doubted the fledgling demon would pose a threat in the near future. Besides, by the time Ami achieved the level of power she would need to even think about freeing Aislinn from Jes's grasp, the wolfling would be so corrupted that she would not be worth saving.

"Bikou has delivered your Ami to the arrancar healers," Jes lied easily. "You made your choice just in time. Any longer and she would not have made it. She'll be all right, querida. Not to worry," Jes rose to a standing position hinting at her dominance over Aislinn. She looked to Powchii before turning her red gaze back to the pup. "In the meantime, might I introduce you to my Bount, Powchii? I believe you two have already met. You will be working with each other in the near future, I believe,"

Powchii leaned against the entrance to the door, his eyes examined Aislinn. To him she was unimpressive, yet Jes was attracted to her, but there was something Powchii wasn't seeing. She had a power he couldn't see and it bothered him, he was jealous, but he would never admit it. He shook his head attempting to abolish any thoughts on the situation, like an etch 'a' sketch, but it didn't work, the thoughts still remained. His warry eyes remained fixated on the small pup that lay in Jes's arms, 'Was she really worth all of this trouble?' he thought quietly to himself, but as he started to dissect her workings she began to stir.

She hazily moved around and still cried the name 'Ami', surely her fervency for this girl was great, but Jes would have her broken of that habbit soon just like a pet. But soon Powchii began to feel something odd stir in the back of his mind a feeling of reminiscence, but it wasn't a feeling he was feeling on his own, instead it was one emanating from the pup. She was exuding such energy he could feel the bond between her and Jes. He was unsure of it's measning and at best the connection was hazy, but still there. How Jes could stand feeling other peoples emotions was beyond him, but he was quickly reminded of her true nature.

Aislinn soon broke free of the after affects of Jes's shadow which was a surprising feat and something most couldn't do. She moved around freely as though nothing had happened and without even worrying about herself she asked for 'Ami', to Powchii's surprise Ailsinn was truelly selfless. He coudn't help but laugh at her and it was a childish laugh, as though he was hinting at her demise. Powchii was smarter however, he knew the truth without ever being told.

Powchii caught sight of Aislinn's eyes, they were a most brilliant shade of blue, but they were filled with hate. Powchii's smile faded to a smirk, he felt a sense of regret arise from deep within the pup. Shaking his head he sighed at Aislinn's predictability, it was what made her so easy for Jes to manipulate. But what made Powchii most intrigued was the fact that she willingly succumbed to Jes just to save her love.

At Jes's introduction Powchii chuckled, "Yes, I do believe we met," his words were cold and lacked human emotion, "You're that one girl right?" he said musing with the pup. He knew that deep down Aislinn would always hate him as well as Jes, but he also knew that their fates were the same. With that thought in mind he had hoped to bond with her in a certain way, a bond where he would help her stay on Jes's good side by teaching her the ways of a good subordinate. While she would rebel he would perform tasks with accurate precision and this would make him far greater a subordinate then Aislinn.

THE TINA DARLING

PostPosted: Mon Feb 01, 2010 12:48 pm

He had stood outside of the complex's entrance the entire time, over hearing everything that went on within, and though he couldn't see the events unfold he was aware who did what and how they did it. He'd performed a simple kido to wrap the light around his entire body, and become completely invisible similar to Bikous own unique talent. It was amusing to see how Arrancar tried to be so similar to Shinigami, and yet he himself had for a while tried to be like them. Using his inner hollow to transform his body into a monster. Though Buru had been gone for a very long time, even after Jes had summoned him he had time to disappear and find himself again. The monster that existed so many years ago. He'd defected, replaced his best friend to Captain, and left the only woman that loved him for him, Onalim, the captain of Fourth Squad. A deep rumble escaped his chest as he leaned out from the cover and the kido shattered form his body like glass and faded away like fading dust debris. For now he would pretend to be the same mindless monster, however much like the last Defected Fifth Squad Captain, Buru was a genius and had a mind that could understand the very fabric of nearly all Kido, and on a level most never achieved, he had a firm grasp on the Demon Arts and knew how to weave it in perfect sync with raw and physical force. This was all thanks to one of the greatest warrior ever, Daven Moto. Now, all had forgotten who he was, which in this scenario worked out perfectly. So many Shinigami would claim that they stood on the same ground as he did, it wasn't in his character to ever admit that another person could meet him eye to eye, and even if he was faced with death he would smear his wicked smile over his Samurai face and fight them without hesitation, treating it as if he'd already won.

As he pushed the door open he stepped in past Powchi and stood over the others as if they where mere children. Glaring down at Jes for a moment then his dark eyes shifted to Aislinn. His glare focused in on her his body crackled with energy but not enough to create a physical sign of this increase in power level, the room however buckled under the weight of this new creature. His gaze shifted over to Powchi and simply inspected him then nodded letting him know Buru knew he was there. Looking back to Jes again his axe dropped just between his feet and rested as the metal hummed after crashing against the hard floor. Leaning forward on the weapon he simply chuckled as he shook his head, "So tell me leader of Las Noches..." waving his hand dismissively as if he forced himself to compliment her, "What is our next step?" motioning back to the Bount he chuckled amused by his presence before looking down to Ash and laughed a bit more finding this entire situation so belittling of her, "Please." he chuckled a little more, "Enlighten me." stepping back he held his arms out hinting for an explanation, he causally sat back against the table where Ami had been tortured. Reaching down with his hand he swiped his index finger across the blood covered table and rose it to his mouth, and licked it slowly as he looked down to Aislinn with a curious glare, "Why are they allowing children to venture so far from Soul Society?" shaking his head he held his finger out to Jess, a small portion of blood remained on the index, "What do you think of this woman?" a small cocky grin speared over his black lips, the claw on the end of his finger threatened to cut anything it came in contact with. "Aislinn's lover is but a child." he chuckled mockly as he looked back down to Aislinn again.

[Enter from Dark Court: I'll be posting the pre-entry there in a moment, so this is technically a time jump]

When dark reflections dance...

A smooth, emotionless laugh echoed through the room, hovering on the air like the stench of the dead, but with a far more cheery demeanor. The air beside of Jes shimmered lightly, and a slender figure emerged, silver-haired and smiling.
"How interesting." Bikou purred, his voice smooth as a serpent's. "I would think that a giant such as yourself would be out dealing with our not-so-polite intruders, rather than traipsing around in my lair." He giggled lightly, placing a hand over his mouth in the process. "But I'm afraid your role will have to be discussed later, dear Buru." His smile widened, "Do not bother questioning my knowledge of your name, nor of your status as a vizard. I learnt it from a less-than-willing, although thoroughly reliable, source." He laughed again, then turned his gaze to meet Aislnn's. "Your lover will meet you on the outskirts of the desert, I have arranged for you both to be escorted safely out of here. And before you ask, Ami is fine. There was no need for me to break her body when the question of your safety was on the line." He winked slyly at the girl, then turned to Jes. "That is, if you are finished with the pup."
His comment to the primera was almost in a dismissing tone, as if she was someone outside of his realm of thought. Not to say that Bikou did not respect Jes, as he showed a modicum of the sentiment towards all beings in power. It was more of a recognition that he did not follow her orders, but his own, and that he had no intentions of changing that prospect anytime soon.
"You will also be interested to know that I have acquired the piece that has alluded me for some time." His mouth split into a wide grin, and he held up the forearm-size bone, which gave off an aura similar to that of Buru's but surprisingly far more sinister and dark, which was doubly disturbing, giving the circumstances. "Soon my plans will come to fruition, and all will be set right again." His grin vanished, and he lowered the bone, slipping it into his robes and awaiting Jes'es response.

Aislinn glared at Powchii, feeling quite betrayed by the whole situation. She had been played so easily it was embarrassing. Now that she actually examined Powchii, she recognized him as none other than the Bount who'd originally healed her after Nera's attack. He was also the same man who'd confronted her in the Labyrinth. She realized now that he was in league with Jes.

But perhaps "in league" was an inaccurate assessment. The way he attended to Jes made their relationship more like that of master and servant. There was a devotion in Powchii's eyes that made Aislinn's stomach churn. She couldn't imagine loving the pale, red-eyed monster. There was something about that which seemed so blatantly wrong that she actually shivered, feeling goosebumps crawl up her arms. Powchii must be truly sadistic to be the retainer of so twisted an individual. Of course, she couldn't ignore the fact that her own situation was now similar to his. With that awful kiss she had become Jes's servant. She felt their connection taking root, drawing her to the red-eyed woman in a way that made Ash feel unclean. Unfortunately, there was no denying the attraction. At the very least, she didn't have to take pleasure in it the way Powchii seemed to.

Of course, Jes's words reminded Aislinn of why she'd agreed to the kiss to begin with. She couldn't help but slump slightly in relief at the notion that Ami was safe. Her lover was protected and that was all that truly mattered to Ash. After so much frantic screaming and begging, she felt a bit empty and washed out. She wanted nothing more than to curl up in Ami's arms and sleep until all these awful waking nightmares passed. Unfortunately, she knew that would never be an option. In saving Ami, she had opted for living a nightmare as Jes's servant.

With the mental stress of her current plight, Ash's body couldn't take much more of a beating. As such, she was nearly crushed by an electric new presence that filled the room. She broke out into shivers. Warmth and feeling fled her skin as a hulking shadow fell over her. She looked up, blue eyes red-rimmed and hectic but angry and defiant as she met the gaze of an enormous man she'd never seen before. He was impossibly tall and well-muscled, body built along solid lines. His physical attributes were accented by a sharp tattoos against his pale skin. His hair flickered oddly, reminiscent of fire or energy. Aislinn could only glare at him as her mind worked to cope with his sudden appearance. Ash was strong-willed and stubborn, but even she had her limits. This entire ordeal had been extremely traumatic for her and she wasn't sure how much more of the awful pressure and painful longing for Ami she could withstand.

Though unwilling to break her gaze and appear weak or fearful in the giant's eyes, Ash couldn't help but be distracted by Jes's arrancar associate-- Bikou, if she remembered his name correctly. Relief washed through her, accompanied by another stab of intense longing. She wanted to be with Ami so badly it ached. Although Bikou had deferred to Jes, Ash was unwilling to wait for her reply.

Unfortunately, she couldn't quite get her legs to respond. It was the giant's pressure that was keeping her down and she flicked a look of loathing at him before returning her burning gaze to Bikou.

"I want t' leave. Take me t' Ami, now," She spat angrily. Ignoring the fact that was was in absolutely no position to be making demands, she continued with real malice in her voice. "And if you ever even touch her again, I'll kill you,"
PostPosted: Mon Feb 01, 2010 2:37 pm

As the laugh filled the room Buru replied with a deep aggressive growl. One that echoed that of an alpha lion, the rattle shook the depths of every persons chest. His eyes focused directly on the man before he even appeared, his dark eyes that mirrored Ami's when she took on the demonic aura the man simply shook his head and his lips curled back in disgust, Hogosha quipped within his mind, "The ******** is that?" Shaking his head he stood and quickly walked up to the man, leaving his weapon behind meeting him face to face, however Buru hulked over him glaring him down, his arms at his sides held out slightly as if he where ready to tear the man apart, his fingers twitched, "My role will be discussed now." clutching his enormous fists his arms crackled with electric, and then huffed a deep growl as he inched his face right into the other mans, glaring him eye to eye. Simply making a point by glaring into the mans eyes revealed he seen Bikou as a child himself, "You are pathetic..." he stood and shook his head holding back the wrath within his chest, walking back over to his axe he grabbed it and slung it over his shoulder, then shifted again to lean against the table and looked down to Aislinn, "STAND UP!" he roared at her, shaking the ground beneath her, "Show some pride before you're superior!" this was an act of kindness to Jes, even though he himself hated every person in this room except for maybe Aislinn, she now served Jes, and there was a sense of honor he had whenever serving under another person, seeing Aislinn lay upon the ground made his mind churn with rage seeing it as an act of defiance against her new master. Jes would rarely see acts of honor performed in her name by this beast and this was one of those moments. Leaning down he looked to Jes, giving her the look as if to say, "I wont hurt her..." and snatched her up by the hair and stood her up by her feet and as he did so, he grunted as he swallowed back his own spiritual power not to crush her from below. Doing this took a great deal of focus and his muscles reflected that strain.

Letting her go he shook his head again, then looked back up to Jess, holding out his arms the weapons chain lashed about violently, not knocking into anything but still lashing about threatningly, "BURU RIKI!" he took a step towards Jes and Bikou, "I alone stole two Shinigami Captains directly from the Gotei Thirteen." holding out two fingers to make his point, he flashed a glare at Bikou before continuing to Jes, "Every single Captain and Vice-Captain was there watching and none of them could stop me." Growling again he thrashed his arm out to the side as if to cut an imaginary image away, "I took the arm of a former captain, I broke the trust of the woman I was once married too and broke her mind and spirit single handedly." throwing his arm back to point at Aislinn, "You steal two worthless and unseated Shinigami and even then you needed the help of this child hollow beside you." turning away he walked to the door, then looked back, "I am willingly giving myself unto you, to do with whatever you please." shaking his head he looked out, "Have I not proved my value with the past that haunts me?" turning back he vanished form view and appeared just before her, growling loudly the room exploded with vile energy, what the bone had radiated before was just a hint of this, Buru Riki, Hogosha Riki, Diablo was the embodiment of evil, not of the deeds that could be performed but of the nature of all evil. Buru was that creature, he was that monster.

Now his words where just a little more than a roar, "One could argue that an empty and emotionless monster is better than one driven by the lust of rage, you could even argue that one driven by emotions could be manipulated!" shaking his head again he continued, "But when you are faced by Me, BURU RIKI!" he threw his arms out at his sides tossing his blade against the nearby wall, "You can find no stronger beast, you can't even comprehend what I have gone through to get where I am today." looking back to the other hollow he simply spit at his feet, then looked back to Jes, "I spit at the foot every follower you have!" taking a step back he roared just to release a portion of his rage, it echoed far into the distances of Las Noches, his body was enveloped in black flame and a black mask formed over his face, the building threatened to give, "I would walk directly into Soul Society and burn it down if you commanded it!" the room was enveloped in black flame, yet it harmed no one, "I am Buru Riki, I am EL DIABLO!" he roared again and was without warning eye to eye to the woman, glaring her eye to eye, "What do I need to do to prove my worth!?" his words where deep yet silent, almost held at a whisper but at the same time the loudest roar anyone could muster, they held so much meaning and value. "Do you need to pour your vile liquid into by bones to see that I am greatest Samurai Warrior in any land, in any demention you could ever enter?" the room then went silent, as if nothing had been pulsed into it, Buru stood back looking as though he where staggering, it was obvious only to Jes that he was desperate to feel honor yet again, to feel his metal clash against an opponents metal. This was the true warrior of Japan, the first breed of Japanese Warrior to ever fight under a lord within Japan. He was very very old, but age did not slow him, time and expierience empowered him, and gave him an unbreakable pride, he would willingly serve under her, though he'd never admit it, he would treat her like any Samurai would his Lord. Buru would die without a second thought on her command and yet color it as if he'd done it all on his own will. Jes could see his honor, and it had been damaged to see her go to anybody but himself to do her bidding. He felt left out, he felt jealous.

When dark reflections dance...

Bikou watched in slight amusement as the beast thrashed about his lair, reeking of desperation and frustration. His silver eyes watched seamlessly flickering brightly in the dim light, and his mouth sat in a perpetual grin, nearly giggling.
"Your pathetic attempt to disparage me is as futile as this pup's threat to destroy me, Buru Riki." His smile vanished, and his eyes stared out, unblinking. "Do not assume that you are greater than everyone, no matter what your status may be considered. All things will be brought to equality eventually, and all things move back to the ashes they once sprang from, even you." His fingers clasped about the bone in his robes, and a dark roar echoed around the chamber, repairing the broken door and the new dent in the wall.
A creeping of black stole around the otherwise shimmering corners of Bikou's eyes, and his reiatsu suddenly spiked, purely visible as a nearly gelatinous black mass. And from that mass, a feeling of utter despair, of death itself, crept, seeping into every corner of the room and throwing it into a state of utter blackness.
As soon as it had begun, it vanished, returning to Bikou's form as rapidly as a gale-force wind, but remaining in his eyes, which now shone with a deep darkness more vast the the depths of the in-between world.
Turning those eyes to Jes, the Dark Bikou spoke, but only in a voice that she would hear.
"I have grown impatient. Preparations have been completed. You know your part. Only the book remains to found, read, and put into play. I will accompany the girl, but not as myself." It hesitated, "Deal with the brute please, his over confident presence disturbs me."
With that, Bikou took a step forward, grabbed Ash by the neck, and threw her into the doorway, which opened as she flew.
"GO FORWARD AND DO NOT STOP. AMI WILL BE WAITING BY THE EDGE OF LAS NOCHES." In audible form, his voice was ragged and harsh, like the sound of glass being shredded in a blender.
As Aislnn landed, Bikou vanished into shadows, moving to an unknown location.

Aislinn would have flinched away from Buru’s roar, but he grabbed a handful of her hair before she could even move. The force with which he dragged her upright threatened to tear her hair out by its roots, especially given that it had weathered similar abuse earlier in her encounter with Jes. Instinctively, Aislinn grabbed onto the giant’s enormous fist, relieving her aching scalp of some of the pressure. Despite the discomfort, she twisted in his grasp, stubbornly trying to break free. Her temper was certainly mounting and it was beginning to show in the way her skin shone with tiny sunbeams. Although Jes had wrapped her heart in Shadow, the bright, vibrant sunlight was responding to Aislinn’s emotions.

“She’s not my superior,” She growled, suddenly more furious than afraid of the giant who’d grabbed her. The air around her began to heat up, shimmering and dancing at the sudden temperature difference. It looked as though tiny fired flickered just beneath the surface of her skin. Coupled with her intensely blue eyes, she looked vaguely inhuman. She hoped that the heat of her skin would begin to burn Buru, but he released her before she could truly scorch him. Still, the bright glow and intense heat remained, speaking to Ash’s sudden loss of temper. She was sick of getting pushed around, sick of being threatened and bullied and taunted and screamed at. All of her anger boiled down to a sudden strong desire to put Buru in his place, no matter how difficult a task that may have seemed. No longer did she care for her own safety, so long as she had a chance to take him down a peg.

“You can go fu—“ Before she could finish the phrase, Bikou wrapped his hand around her neck, lifted her like a ragdoll, and tossed her with impeccable aim through the open doorway. She struck the wall opposite the complex’s doors, sliding to the floor in a bit of a daze. Shaking the shock off quickly, she lept to her feet, skin blazing even brighter for her unceremonious departure from the complex.

Hearing Bikou’s words, she deliberated for a moment, torn between healing her wounded pride by storming back inside and attacking Buru in all his arrogance or running from the fight to find Ami. Of course, she chose the latter. Ash was proud, to be sure, but she would have thrown everything away for Ami. She already had.

With a snarl of irritation, she turned on her heel and darted down the passageway, lighting her way by the bright light that spilled from her skin like a miniature sun.
