I'd have to say the music in Yoshi Story (64) is pretty amusing.
But Katamari Damacy takes the cake.

I like the music from SSX, the first one mainly but the whole series has good music (exept for on tour, that game sucked)

One-Winged Angel. (That song rocked so hard, I put the game on pause when I was fighting Sephy in KH just so I could listen to the music longer. XD)
And most music from Katamari Damacy. So damn CATCHY! Except for that one english song... I hate that song. T.T

Well, I'm in love with Shadow Hearts music (cross my heart, 'til the day I fall dead), Illusion of Gaia music, and Mystic Quest music (gotta love the SNES rock). Those are my top three contenders. Oh oh! And Spyro! I loooove Stewart Copeland. A close 4-way tie for all of them in my opinion.

Basically any of Noriyuki Iwadare's music. I loved his work in the Lunar and Grandia series, and am listening to the soundtrack to Grandia 3 right now. I love it.

I don't really pay attention to the background music cause I'm busy pwning n00bs butts lol...I guess I would say Final Fantasy 9 and I know the worst one Marvel vs. Capcom 2...the "Take You For a Ride" song stressed
