Looking around, Daniel saw one smoldering crater. Fresh from the look of things. An artillery strike. Judging from the impact. It seemed to have falled straight down instead of from one side. Homing perhaps?
He pulled his bike up against the building, he slid his pistol free, and started looking around, picking out ambush points and where he could get some cover.
He tried to wave back to anyone that might be following him, telling them to keep down.

The Cat Lady climbs over the wreckage and, hearing an unfamiliar voice in the distance, sniffs the air for clues, her eyes glowing in the dim light of an overcast afternoon.

Sounds good to me.
*Ryoko, though she is still far, holds her nodachi between her and the machine, while her free hand reaches behind her back and under her shirt.*
Think I saw this one on the news...

Seeing Daniel's frantic wave, the Cat Lady gasps and immediately crouches down on the ground and advances towards him on all fours.

The falcon dives toward Ryoko and disappears in a puff of blue smoke. Tsu appears and walks up to the group, "You and your news...What do you guys think we should do?"

Rage looked over at Daniel for a moment, winking. This was something he was used to... and it was time to get down to business. "You ready, Ryoko?"

Seeing what Rage is planning, Tsu reaches back and draws both of his blades, both in a reverse grip, since he doesn't know what to expect.

"Did they say anything about it on the news?" Daniel was tempted to ask, but just incase that thing was sound triggered, he didn't.
He looked down, seeing the cat lady paw towards him. He smiled a bit at her. Then his gaze was back ont he robot.
Where could he attack it from, somewhere with the advantage. It didn't seem to have a weapon on it. But that crater didn't come from nowhere, now did it.
The building might provide some cover. But his team didn't seem likely to take advantage of it.
He slid his clip out, and replaced the black ammunition clip with a blue one, quickly, easily. Then held on tight, waiting for hell.

The robot scanned over the people, his eyes glowing red. 'Possibility of Success, 73 percent...' he said slowly. His body seemed to bulk out, as if gaining somthing new, as if taking himself out of travel mode, giving himself muscles. 'As the foolish Humanoid with the sword based weapon said...Bring it on...' he added, with his cold lifeless, computerized voice.

VrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRAAWWW
The military vehicle soared through the air, ramping off a edge of concrete that had been upturned from an explosion, the 4-man crew chasing after a fleeing enemy, with what appeared to be expert skills on the part of the driver, although it was closer to video-game experience. They were chasing the robot who had appeared in ther pencil-pusher distirict, with a vengance.

Matthias Weinberg's lips were muttering a torrent of yiddish cursing as his head jerked back and forth in the rear seat of the Humvee. He was hoping things would've gotten off to a much better start around here. His fingers danced on the keypad of his breifcase. His team had already been seperated, leaving his current party with very little way of dealing actual damage to those monstrocities. He had really hoped he wouldn't have to play some of his better hands so soon.
He produced from his case a large number of strange items as the vehicle raced through the rubble strewn city streets. He began assembling the parts carefully, as it was his first time doing so. A mounted, military grade laser cannon was a pretty complicated things to put together in the back of a moving vehicle.
Eventually he managed to get the whole thing together. Lazer cannon, targetting array, and a cooling chamber on the floor of the humvee connected by a thick tubing. Matthias opened the gunnery hatch above his head and attached the cannon to the mounting.

Uh...
*Ryoko looked at Daniel.* Yes, cover would be a good idea...
*She quickly side-straifed towards the building's entrance, her hand firmly gripped on something behind her back and under her shirt.*

Rage looked around for a moment, frowning. "THIS IS MY FIGHT, STAY THE HELL OUT OF IT!"
With that said, he coughed a few times... and then charged the robot with all his might, his silver-hilted katana now scraping the ground as he ran. At the last second, he changed his trajectory just slightly to the robot's right side as he brought his blade straight towards it's chest, aiming to slice it from hip to shoulder... or at least do a fair amount of damage.

At the sight of the robot, the Cat Lady jumped back and ran behind some nearby wreckage. Leo the Bengal cat emerged, poking his head out curiously, eyeing the massive robot. She held Daisy, the cute little Scottish fold kitty with amazing curative powers, close to her breast and silently prayed for the group's safety.

Tsu squats and follows Ryoko, wondering if they're going to have to deal with the other team on top of the robot.
