xCyanidexAngelx What I'm most worried about isn't Smith, although he's not exactly what I'd picture the Doctor to be (I mean, Geronimo? Really?), but the VIOLENCE shown by the DOCTOR in the previews. I sincerely hope its not the norm for him. I even was disappointed by Ten!Doctor taking the gun from Wilf the second he heard the Time Lords were back. Yes he may have been scared as hell, but he had just given a whole speal on how he wouldn't EVER use a gun, and then back in the episode The Doctor's Daughter he also made a big show of pointing out to those warrior humans that he NEVER WOULD. To have Matt Smith also weilding a gun is extremely worrying, and while I don't remember it, him taking a baseball bat to Daleks is along the same line.
I dunno...it makes me feel a wee bit uneasy. That's not who The Doctor is supposed to be. Correction. That wasn't who the TENTH Doctor was. Each Doctor is different. They are all, in general, pacifists, but each one has the potential to be exactly who the writers and actor make him out to be. That's part of the whole deal. I really doubt Eleven is going to be running around randomly shooting people in the head or mugging random passersby or anything. They were probably just showcasing that he's "No more Mister Nice Guy" and he's gonna do what it takes to protect those he cares about, even if it means getting violent. Also, the gun thing in EoT was to emphasize how "dangerous" the Time Lords were. Not that they actually did anything...

knightofthe21stcentury This may be a spoiler, so read no further. Look at 0:20 What's this? A new species of Dalek? I have a theory of the dalek ep, so this is your warning. Don't read on if you're worried about spoilers. Ok. So in the preview we see a normal, new-series dalek on the recieving end of a bass ball attack from the doctor, but we also see him looking into the eye of a very different looking dalek with interest. Also in the preview the doctor angry enough at a scientist to resort to face-punching. What I think happened was a dalek was found by some scientists and taken underground for experimentation, similar to the Eccelston episode, but this time the dalek spoke and the scientists, unaware of the dalek threat, co-operated with the daleks and helped them build more daleks using the limited technology of earth and this results in the white dalek thing in the video.

fredwise I have a feeling there may be a drop in viewers purely due to Tennant leaving.
Mm, I am sure fans will get over the new actor issues, as they have since the start.
Its the writer I am worried about.
I can handle a new face and possibly a bit of a personality change, but the stories better be as good as before and canon.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! It looks AMAZING! I had my doubts about the new doctor at first but after I saw that trailer that totally changed my mind!!!!!! Cant wait!

I think this is going to be good! I love the sword fighting vamps, just because i love that time period, i love weeping angels (who doesnt?). But theres one thing thats bothering me, well actually 3
1. The ppl reluctant to change. I think the whole show of DW is revolved around change. how he changes, how the world, solar system, even the entire UNIVERSE changes. sure we miss david, but i think we have to let it go JUST A LITTLE BIT!
2. haters on the bow tie. bow ties have never ceased to please me. even if it does make his head look big, which i also like
3. big hair haters. i love the new look all together, basically.
call me an optimist, but whatever
