Sorry to change the subject, but is the issue about how to explain the existence of Vaizards and Arrancar's still unsolved?

Nope. That has been solved. The only question now is working out the details between Higure, Asuma, and the rest of the Gotei Thirteen captains.

We need to involve the other squads in the backstory, as right now it only involves Asuma and Higure.
Soo...
Here is what I am thinking.
We need three captains to step forward for the retrieval of Higure from earth after his blackout, and two captains to accompany Higure in his attempt to rescue the then-presumed captured Asuma from Hueco mundo.
That way, we involve a few of the captains in that stretch.
After that, we need suggestions for a long-standing feud / disagreement between the families, preferably the major nobles.

Hmmm for the Feud maybe one family could insult the other in some grave way and then the other family would retaliate, both would have the other families as allies, leading to tension between all of them but not enough to cause bloodshed yet.

I would possibly also like to rescue Asuma attempt as could bring other prospects I spoke of plot wise. In the end if it comes down to it, it should be vote basis to see in order to be fair on roles. I'm certain all like myself would seek to be involved.
Obviously not all captain's would go as some would need to handle the sereitei. Potentially in the absence of Higure/Asuma the family feud backstory occured where the other captains had to take charge and bring peace to the situation. That way all Captain's would have a role within the history. I'd also assume they would take upon their top lieutenant to aid.

On the families feud aspect we need the history of families potentially to create the appropriate feud. Possibly it could be an interfamily marriage which was forebidding by both sides. Outsiders were not supposed to marry within the families to taint the bloodlines therefore they each sought to kill the the partner of the marriage who was not their bloodline. Each family though also sought to protect their own bloodline member therefore created a huge feud. Obviously a bit of Romeo & Juliet but can be adapted.
