Nenth In my opinion, maybe he died (killed himself) to be remembered like the greats a.k.a. Jimi Hendrix, Jown Lennon, etc. back in the 60's and 70's. But who knows. Who is Jown Lennon?

i believe he meant the John Lennon from the beatles but you probaly knew what he meant and was just trying to correct him. Or did you just not know??

That's how he left, I believe. I don't think Jim would do that for the sake of being remembered. Remember how quite a few people had stuff against him and the law did as well in that time in the United States. He would want to make a get away, probably. Don't think he wanted to be totally remembered. I heard that he got tired of his fame after a while. Jim Morrison died of something, but it cannot be ruled as a suicide.

But it was french customs not to perform an autopsy. And has anyone ever seen that picture of this guy at Jim's grave and you can see what looks to be a figure in black leathers dancing. I suggest it's the lizard king himself. That's French custom not to perform an autopsy? That's news to me. Do you mean this picture by any chance?: That picture sure raises some neck hair. If it is authentic and no customization been made, then that is Jim Morrison. Agreed.

There are also plenty of other famous conspiracies so I'm not sure if I would call Kurt and Jim's the most famous. Jim definitely has a bunch of them, though.

I am a stroooongggggg believer that Morrison is still alive.
1st of all, if anyone could fake their death and get away with it, that would be Jim. He had the genius in him.
2nd of all, he wanted SOO badly to get out of the Doors fame, and other than death itself there was no other way to get out of The Doors and to continue a life with Pam.
3rd of all, he hated heroine. Even though he was yes in a depression still.
4th of all, Pam is the only one that knows the truth. crying and she died of a heroine overdose.
