Zero tried not to laugh. "Yeah I heard it sadly. And I'm assuming there's no food in that place huh? And by the looks of this place I guess they just eat the wildlife around." Zero looks around at the tall grass and starts wondering if there are traps around the area which would explain why the grass was so high. He then hears Ikemen talking. "Oh sorry, I should have asked you to come. It's just that I'm used to going places alone." Zero moves over to allow Ikemen next to him and Kushina. "Hey man are you tired? You're panting kind of hard there." He looked at Ikemen even though his eyes were hidden under his hood so you couldn't really tell. "I mean she's hungry, you could be tired, and I'm bored. Maybe we can help each other out."

Kushina quickly got up, waving her hands in front of her body. "No! I'm not hungry! My stomach just wont stop growling!!!" she quickly replied, but the more she thought about what she said the more it sounded stupid.

Zero chuckled at her excuse. "Yeah sure it won't. I know the sound of hunger. And you my friend are hungry." He looks back at the cave and back at Kushina. "Maybe you should go back inside and see if that Kid has some food around here. That is if he ever snaps out of it."

Kushina shook her head in protest. "No! I'm strong enough to last awhile without any food!" she replied, not wanting to return to that cave with the boy who simply stared off into space.

"Alright, alright calm down. I wasn't trying to say you were weak or anything. I'm just saying when you're hungry you should just go eat." Zero was trying to be as nice as he could. "You just better hope that kid snaps out of it or else we'll starve."

"Don't worry about food and me! I can get any food I want! Been doing it since I was little!" she replied, with a charming smile. Kushina then looked at Ikemen, then walked up to him. Her body moved gracefully and as if it were nothing. Putting her face close to his she asked, "How come you followed me?!" she asked as if she didn't hear his statement when he had arrived around this part of the field.

"Okay fine I believe you." He see's her get up and starts talking to Ikemen. That's my cue to leave. Zero begins exploring the Battle field in hopes of finding something worth taking. "I wonder what these people were fighting about." He see's one dead body with an arrow through his eye and forehead. "Man this guy got the business." Zero said while examining the body. He looks around more to see what Ikemen and Kushina were doing making sure they wouldn't leave without him. "Whats the worst that could happen?" he tried to calm himself down. "Not like they are going to plot against me." Zero began chuckling after saying that.

The embodiment of elegance that was Kushina walked up to Ikemen in such a manner that Ikemen's calmness was utterly destroyed. The fake sweat that he'd manifested on his skin was quickly replaced with his own cold nervous sweat. He was on the verge of trembling at the mere appearance of this woman - and when she spoke to him in such close range to his face... He thought his heart would explode with joy. However, his resourcefulness prevailed and, just in the nick of time, he began to calm himself with soothing water molecules from the air. "Well, dear, contrary to popular believe, chivalry is alive and well. This is my land, Shinji is my lord, and you are my chosen lady. I don't care if you don't need me 'cause I know that's what you're gonna say. I'm here of my own accord." Ikemen had a terrible feeling that he'd given himself away in that little explanation. It was a risk well taken... He had to let her know that he wanted to be with her. Somehow.

Zero looks at the Kushina and Ikemen again and sighs. "I guess they got this place under control.....sorry guys I have to go." He picks up a knife from one of the dead bodies and throws it at the two, not to kill but to get their attention. The knife lands in front of Ikemen foot hoping Ikemen would see him. Zero waves goodbye and heads out into the forest towards the earth empire. "I hope I see those two again"

Ikemen takes a slight moment to say good bye to Zero. He had many suspicions as to where Zero was going, but that wasn't his primary concern right now. As soon as the word 'bye' left Ikemen's mouth, he reverted his gaze into the eyes of Kushina, who was still in his face. For some reason, he suddely felt playful. After wiping the sweat from his face, he stuck his face closer to her, smiling slightly. He was truly happy. Not just an ordinary happy either. His happiness was that of an obese child in a candy store. It made things even better that they were now completely alone. His experience was, as far as he knew, all his - that is, unless... Kushina was simultaneously feeling the same. That, however, was a far cry from the most likely situation at the moment.

Kushina went speechless as her heart raced. Had he just said what she thought he said. She was his chosen lady?! Kushina simply looked at him as he moved himself closer. She was so wrapped up in the moment she hadn't heard nor see Zero leave. Her breathing began to speed up slightly, trying to keep it low but failed. I was like his stare sent a chill down her spine but a good chill.

Ikemen didn't know what to make of her seemingly awestruck disposition. She was breathing faster than before and her heart was doing flips, from what he could hear. However, didn't know quite for sure if it was a good reaction or bad reaction based on the fact that she said nothing in response and on the fact that her facial expression was blank. "So how about it? Will you let me be near you for the simple sake of being near?" With the question asked, he took some time to just look at her. He gazed upon her long, red hair which he then moved from her face so that they could see each other better. He searched her eyes as thoroughly as he could to see what he could find. He knew it would be hard to judge the eyes of an assassin, but it was worth a shot. Oh! The pure emotion that flowed through him at the moment... What was it? He did not know. It felt good, though. Please, fate, allow this woman to be in my future for always - in a good way.

Kushina simply nodded to Ikemen's question, still not being able to say a word. He was the first guy to have ever say something like this to her, so of course her reaction was odd for her normal behavior. When his fingers lightly brushed her face as he moved her hair out of the way. She could feel her cheeks grow hot but was feeling so good at the moment that she couldn't move herself away. Kushina was fixed upon Ikemen as her heart skipped beats.

The second he heard Kushina's heart skip a beat, he stole a kiss - as swiftly as the heart had skipped. Her lips were soft, yet firm; full and kissable; everything he'd imagined them to be and just a bit more. Time was passing ever so slowly as he waited for her reaction. It was like seeing the earth grow old, but within the confines of a fraction of a second. Would she react aggressively? Or, perhaps, would she return him this favor that he had done her? Either way, the kiss was as much worth the cause as the minute he'd unveiled the fact that he wanted to be with her.

It had happened so fast. Ikemen had given her a swift kiss on the lips. Now her face was going redder then her hair. "Uhu... uhu..." her voice quietly spat out. Kushina couldn't believe what had just happened. Her first kiss, and so far she wasn't taking it as well as she had hoped. Her vision had suddenly grown blurry as her body started to fall forward towards Ikemen. She fell against him, out cold. His kiss had caused an assassin like her to faint just like that. One weakness of her's had been discovered.
