-The blast from the beam had knocked the boy zombie out cold, away into a dark haven that little could rouse. He didn't awaken as zombeline dragged him about, head lulling and bobbing and shifting like a ragdoll. Nor did he awaken as the excited shouting and door slicing filled the area with chaos and noise. No.. Lucas was lost, completely and utterly in his dark exhaustion as his youma body tried to handle the magical damage it'd been done... until a hand rest upon his body.
The slightest hints of movement, the tensing of his once loose fingers and a particularly harsh and deep breath sucked in were the only signs of his pain as the sensation rippled through his body. And suddenly it wasn't quite so dark.
Brief words of different voices mingled in a mangled script as a word here and word there clouded the soft dream he was watching behind closed eyes. Very little of it made sense however. About just as much sense as was made when his eyes finally began to open a crack, squeezing tight to hide from the light for a moment, and then slowly opening again.
There was a conversation going on... one he didn't bother to try to dechiper or question through his throbbing headache, and there were people.. lots of people. His eyes shifted slowly, lazily about the room. Redhead senshi... Elke... Serenade... who was seeming strangely more hot than cute for some unknown reason.. and.. Abeline! Completely fleshed and beautiful as he'd remembered?
The mangled one.. had it been a dream. Had the whole zombie thing been some horrible dream? If that whole long nightmare had been a bad trip... Jonathan was in line for a VERY hard punch in the face.
The dreamy thought was quicklived however.. as he noticed the tailed creature clinging to sexySerenade. And then that catspeaking dipwad too... Stupid p***k.. creeping in on his apparent harem of ladies.
His mouth opened, but all that escaped was an exhausted sigh as his eyelids began to lull. He was tired.. so tired.. and his body ached like crazy. But he was awake, staring softly at a conversation that he caught very little of.
Maybe he'd REALLY died now.. and gone to heaven. Mmm... angel harem. Minus Sue. Even if he did have a girl name. Unless he was packing some girly parts too..? If that was the case well.. Lucas didn't begrudge the ugly chicks.-

Elke gasped, hands coming up over her mouth. The Princess had given up her prince for the Zodiacs? For her? Oh, no, she wasn't worth that. Not even Virgo was worth that. Did that mean that poor Serenade would be all alone forever? No, that couldn't be allowed to stand. Maybe she couldn't get the Prince back, but she could do something... But that was something to think about later, not right now, even though-- "Poor princess," said Elke.
She listened quietly, still trying to figure out how someone could care enough for someone else to die forever. So this Charonite guy was just doing it to be evil? But that made no sense, there had to be an Ulterior Motive. He had to be trying to kill everyone for a reason, no one was really all evil...
"Wait," said Elke when everyone had had their say, "Capricorn and Libra are here, too. Well, not here-here, but they're awake. They're with Hero, they're out wandering the grounds, they're not dead."
And then she paused and said, "I think the Queen needs to come with us? Because she can make everyone unzombied?... but if you leave her here, I'll stay with her. I'm not the best guard but it'd be bad to leave her alone." Then she looked over at Serenity-in-Serenade and said, "I mean, if you don't mind?"

"No one is leaving the Queen behind," Foramen stated flatly. End of discussion. Or he'd end it with a rift.
After a moment, he relented, "As it was, I believe Cancer retracted that statement, due to the missing door." Lucky for Cancer. Foramen was not the 'silent and obedient' type - for Queen Serenity alone (so far), he was 'obedient and deadly'.
Ugh, these strange female senshi were rather lacking in brains. Foramen moved to stand closer to Sue and Serenity-Chronos. Even if he was turning into a cat, Sue had proven he had brains during this whole kill-the-zombies debacle. He had no idea what the girls and Lucas had accomplished, apart from turning into zombies.
"When Your Highness is ready," he said.

"All right," said Serenity, having listened tranquilly to everyone's slightly overlapping argument over what to do next. "Sailor Cancer, stay here with your friend and Sailor Virgo. Be brave, Virgo; I know you can be brave. Cancer, I know you're brave enough for all three of you, but bar the door if you must. When you're both ready, go looking for Capricorn, Libra and their friend, and bring them back here. If you see any human survivors, please bring them to here as well. Astraea -- " The cat had opened her mouth to protest, but nothing doing. "Guard them well."
She wiped down Chronos' pretty skirt, but was already drifting towards the door. "Foramen, Guardian Zue, you're with me. Zue, I'll go where you lead. Let's use our time wisely."
Mission: got.

Abeline glanced at Lucas slowly stirring form and then to Elke.... who was obviously Virgo, and Lucas who was obviously weak and perfect for her to throw herself up, confessing her feelings and...
Her lip drew back in a grimance. A frightened girl and the most awesome boy in school. No way was she leaving Elke and Lucas alone--- he was a skirt chaser and Elke looked like Lucas' prime-time skirt for chasing. But then, naturally, Lucas would probably break Elke's heart and well... that was bad.
"Wake up, Hendricks." She kicked him in the thigh, firmly but not hard- more of a nudge. It was Abeline-speak for 'please my beloved, let me caress you tenderly' or something.
Abeline found herself in a real dilema, if she left them here alone, who knew what the innocent little Elke would do to the bushy-tailed fox-- but at the same time, Elke looked like she needed to get out of the room, and Hendricks, well, Abeline didn't want Hendrick's getting hurt. So... where did that leave her? Froust rubbed her eyes. If she left them both here, they'd be safe.... but Elke would be alone with Lucas. If she took Elke, that would leave Lucas alone and he might get eaten (by someone other than Abeline!) since he was a delicate creature who had already been munched on before.... If she took Lucas he might get eaten, and she'd never be happy about that.... if she left Elke, she might cry, and Abeline didn't want her crying...
So should she completely disregard what the ghost-Serenede had instructed? Or should she follow the plan and hope that Hendricks didn't get molested while she turned her back for five minutes? Abeline didn't like relying on other people. In fact, now that she thought about her last attempt at trusting someone else to help her, she remembered the icy chill of a room full of water. No, she wouldn't be relying on anyone.... except... Hendricks could take care of himself, and that wasn't really her relying on him, right?
"I want to tell you two to stay here and I'll go. But... Elke, you know more about this than I do." After all, they'd probably just slow her down. Even though Elke seemed to know a little bit about this whole mess-- maybe understood more than Abeline did-- (and Abeline had no idea who Capricorn and Libra were!) she didn't want to get Elke hurt. So it was better for them if she stayed here. Abeline wanted to be dancing solo today. She was always dancing solo. It was safer that way.
Elke would have to be a support. That was what the girl was there for, right? Giving Abeline her knowledge. Froust crossed her arms. Yeah, retreat to her own fantasy seemed like a good idea.

Use our time wisely, to Sue, meant don't drag this ******** dog-and-pony show out any longer. Splitting off from the other Zodiacs wasn't an ideal situation, maybe, but it was a logical one - Astraea would be able to corral Virgo and Cancer, he was pretty sure. Scratch that - he was damned sure.
But before he left, he had one quick piece of information to pass on.
"In the math building," Sue spoke suddenly, orienting on Astraea. "There's a group of survivors holed up in one of the rooms. Yahya, Kirin, Sam, and some others. If you get over there, tell them I said this is the new plan. They'll probably listen." Yahya would at least, Sue was pretty sure - which meant that Yahya, at least, would be around the right crowd not to get brain-chomped If Astraea could get those lot together, it would mean Sue wouldn't have to worry after his friend at all -- but of course, Sue wasn't going to put it like that. "They're a bit run-down, but they're armed and they're not scared to fight if they have to. They'd help."
And that was enough of that. Sue jogged over to get in line with Foramen and Serenity as they exited the gym.

Elke took a deep breath and squared her shoulders, tipped her chin up, spine straight. Be brave, she told herself, be brave! That wouldn't be too hard, she was brave all the time, but... But the Princess wasn't there! How could she be brave if the Princess wasn't there, even a little? The Lady would take care of the Princess. She took another deep breath and smiled a little. "I'll be brave," she hiccuped, "And we'll go find everybody else, okay, please be careful, okay? Come back safe?" Then she sat down on the floor, curled up a little bit. She just... needed a minute! There was a quick flick of Foramen's eyes to Sue, then to Astraea. He turned to the empty doorway, flanking Serenity-Chronos. Astraea wouldn't let the cat out of the bag, and it wasn't like it was unusual for students to go missing at Barren Pines.
Idly, Foramen wondered if anyone would actually miss Kirin. The standoffish, anti-social ice queen who preferred her computer over human company - the only ones who knew any different were those who'd gone with Kirin to karaoke, and even then found that away from a microphone and pumping music, she was the same ice b***h to them as before.
Well, it wasn't as though Kirin wouldn't be found alive somewhere at the end of this. Zombies were a great excuse for the separation. No eyebrows would be raised. Secrets would be safe. Staus quo unchanged.
That should make him feel good... right?
Right. Clearly there was just too much adrenaline and hormones floating about. Effecting Kirin's judgement. The high-stress situation, his new magical powers, and the presence of Queen Serenity were clearly to blame.
