Word has reached me that the game is going to be similar to Batman: Arkham Asylum in that such will be aimed at older fans with a grittier storyline. Something more adult than what has been offered in recent years, with a cover-based combat system . . . duck, shoot, duck, run like hell ala Gears of War.
Now, I have not played Gears, but the idea intrigues me. One way or another . . . this game will be mine.

I wouldn't say that. As a Wii owner I have seen how games like this fail, but I found this article under the Wii games tab. If they are bothering to place it there, then it must have at least a glimmer of hope. (Here's hoping that a PC version comes out, though, as my laptop was pratically made for games blaugh ) http://broadband.zoomtown.com/games_channel/preview_read.php?games_rip_id=1060281And as for the second transformers trailer... I have no words to express my sheer joy and excitement. heart Soooo glad I'm old enough to get these 'dark, gritty' games now. blaugh

Yeah, he did, didn't he? whee He's always been one of my favorite characters, so seeing him was a bonus. 3nodding I still would have gotten the game just from seeing the first video, though.

From what I saw there was Bumblebee, Ratchet, Optimus Prime, Omega Supreme, and I think I saw Iron Hide.

I, too, saw Ironhide . . . but as for toys: rumor has it that if this game does well enough, toys will be in production. As such . . . . pics!

Now THAT is a great Megatron alt mode. It obviously exists for one purpose and one purpose only: to EXPLODE YOU TO DEATH.

Thank you, Magni Prime! whee This game better be good, because I so want those figures! (that and ruining what already looks to be a great game would be a sin for which the developers would suffer eternally for evil )

Anytime. I enjoy sharing such pics and information. Transformers are my passion, and such is wonderful to be able to share that passion with people that actually understand. sweatdrop

Release date is currently slated for 6/22 . . . and I have my copy already paid for. On release day, all I have to do is show up and say 'gimmie.'
