Just before the pellets hit them, Demetri shifted to a humming bird, and Riley to a black butterfly. They flew up, dodging the pellets easily. they landed on the ashpalt outside the manhole, and changed to human. "what was that for?" Riley said, walking up to Jerick and standing in his face. "was there a need for that? automaton??" She asked, annoyed that that is how he said hello.

Demetri put a hand on Riley`s shoulder. She relaxed, and stepped back. She turned and as she walked back to stand behind Demetri, she whispered, "i hate automatons...". She sheathed her sword behind her. "well then, i didn't know people could get so angry sometimes." Demetri laughed nervously. "hey Dem, when are we leaving?" Riley asked, her hand still on the hilt of her sword. "and what was that about killing us sir?" Demetri said, turning to last person who talked.

Jack smiled as Tajj relaxed his stance and sat on a headstone. "Well, Tajj. If I told you what I was guarding and why I was guarding it for the person who was supposed to be guarding it......It wouldn't be guarding it anymore, would it?" She heard gun shots in the distance and her mouth twitched. "I didn't realize that you had more friends in this area...." 'Such an interesting night..... She mused as she pushed herself off the tree.

Rose turned and walked a little bit away. She jumped into a tree and hung upside down on a branch. Her eyes only left the hunter to glance at Tajj, which was a bad idea most of the time. Even if her intent was to only look at him for a moment, she ended up looking at him for a while until she could come back to reality.

Jack gave Tajj a wary sort of look, bt it disappeared the instant it appeared. "Well I suppose...."She trailed off and shrugged. "But even if I wanted to, I couldn't. You see...." She held up her arm, the black-inked mark of silence was etched into her skin. "It's not that simple to break an age old treaty, now is it?" She let her arm drop. "My friend is the only one who knows how to get rid of it, and until he does, I'm zipped."

Riley growled. "Tin man, is that what their called now?" She said, trying to push past demetri. "Ill show you tin, have you ever heard of a can opener!?Because my swords are talented at ripping apart things!" She challeneged, still trying to push past Demetri. "im sorry, she takes offense easily." Demetri said, holding his sister back.

Tajj objected to Rose's question. "As concerned as I am about why... it has to be secret, I am more curious about what it is exactly." he said with a shrug. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger Rose, so why not? You got me if anything goes wrong." he winked and smiled softly.

He crossed his arms over his built chest, his tail tapping softly against the stone head.

He smiled softly at her bold declaration. "You never sease to amaze me Rose. Though of course I am already dead, so I cannot exactly die again, less someone should stumble apon my deathbed I would gladly give them my heart." he said still smiling.

Of course, Incubi are demonic souls of someone's past life. A demon come to life by that soul. Should he die, he would be of course sent back to hell where he was first concieved. Or if he did good deeds instead of bad, he would likely join God, in the clouds of Heaven, but seeing as he is a demon, he prefered the first than the latter. Heaven was no place for him and should that arise at his death he would probably find any way possible to get him back in the pit hole.

Tajj chuckled softly at his thoughts.
